  I was watching the other day to get at least one excellent book updated on Apex 4.1.x but to my surprise, most of the titles are old. I bought Pro Oracle Application Express
  Copyright © 2008 by John Edward Scott and Scott Spendolini but many codes are really frustrating, they do not work especially with Apex 4.1.1 & upwards. Does anyone know if there is a newer version of this book out there?

  The minimum requirement for DPS 2015 is 4.4 Android. Looks like there are typo on this help page, I'll work with Bob and we'll get the update of the page.

  Probably more effective to create a new thread with the URL of a current sampling site and the specific browser and version of browser involved. (This thread is more than a year and a half and a lot of browser and versions of Muse, there is).

• How to assign a DNS address fixed to a single computer

  I have pored downloaded (and very good!) Linksys guide several times and probably it's me being dense but I can't follow how to go about booking an address fixed for only one computer on my LAN, it will affect others.

  My PSN does not - and nor do I want - to select other that "obtain an IP address automatically" as my WAN connection type.

  On the DHCP tab should then turn off the DHCP server?  If I have to do, should I then assign a fixed address individually for each machine on my local network, not only to the one that I want to have a fixed address, but each of the other institutions?  In this case I would have also made it necessary to allocate a "customer rents time" for each of them and - probably - subsequently to refresh it at regular intervals.

  Is there a simpler and easier way?  Or am I barking the wrong tree anyway?

  I have a HP7510e printer, I want to implement for eprinting.

  I had the printer works now for a few months, not without issues connect to my netwaork all about.

  Suffice it to say, it is now connected via a static IP, but still gives me time to other - messages telling me 'the computer scan has been lost"etc.

  I tried implementing the eprint, but get this message

  

  and when I try to 'DIFFICULTY THIS' I get:

  

  which isn't much help because I configured the printer!

  How will I know if I need a Proxy server, or indeed what is a proxy server.

  My static ip address (on a Netgear DGN1000) is 192.168.0.201

  As I said it is not ideal, but the printer will not keep a connection to my router except if I do this (if I let him choose it's own ip address, it is good, but loses its Wi - Fi connection after a period of time, and I get a blue light flashing on the printer.)

  I'm sure that's not rocket science, and I am (or thought I was) quite computer savvy

  I'd start by power cycling the router and the printer to make sure they are synchronized between them.

  If you want to burn the permanent backup disks get cheaper discs of 'R '.  If you want to reuse the disks later get the disks 'RW '.

  It will be useful.

  PS - Its value in two copies as a double backup and store them in other places - just in case. Especially since the discs is not expensive.

• Why gradients look so terrible?

  I noticed that all websites look not as good as they should, especially color degraded. They all don't look all smooth, almost resemble quality GIF. I opened the same Web pages on different browsers Android mobile and they all look good, but not in Firefox for Android. Is there a way to make images look better or 'normal '?

• Problem with hostednetwork

  I use my laptop (personal) AP to share my internet connection (USB dongle) with my mobile phone using hostednetwork. There is no problem in sharing until I connect to my laptop to a Wi - Fi connection available in the office or any hotspot. Once I connect to my laptop for the Wi - Fi and disconnect to allow hostednetwork, my mobile device identifies the hostednetwork but connect. the problem resolves after that I restart the laptop.

  That's what I do usually.

  If I connect my laptop to wireless technology, I always stop hostednetwork, work on wireless until I need, then disconnect the connection.after wireless this I connect to internet using my USB dongle, start hostednetwork, hostednetwork appears with internet access, my laptop detects but not able to connect

  The Version of Windows: Windows Home Edition
  Laptop: Samsung NP-RV511-A0AZA
  Card: Broadcom 802.11n network adapt
  driver version: 5.100.82.95

  I already tried things

  Dear experts, please help. My first love of game is Microsoft FSX and I started with a laptop running Windows XP operating system and found it easy to download airplanes from sites Web de Sim vol. I got the chance to upgrade my standard gaming with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 laptop. I downloaded files on the net plane and can see the files in FSX but cannot bring them into lists of aircraft in free flight option. I think I'm wrong for the WinRAR / areas of Adobe.

  Your best resource is going to be the site where you got the files from, they should have the installation instructions.  Given that these are third party add on files, and not Microsoft files, I can only point you to resources where these types of files downloaded.  Try this one:

• Windows 8.1 does not recognize my scanner

  I recently bought a new computer from DEll desktop with Windows 8.1. My printer, HP DEskjet F4180, prints and copies but does not scan.  I tried to install using the original disk and an icon for appeard Center Solution HP on the desktop, but when I try to use it it says No HP devices have been detected and will close the Solution Center.

  I downloaded the HP SCan doctor, but having said that he did not support my device.

  In the under imaging devices Control Panel, it shows the HP DEskjet and says it's working properly, but it is not returned.  I read a few similar forum questions, but the answers are complicated relating to ports etc. Please somone can help me with a Dummies guide to get my scanner work?

• WAP610N - can't get a network IP address

  Hello! I bought a Linksys WAP610N today, I placed it so I can get a signal where I can't normally.

  The thing is I have it configured properly, well at least I think, I can see it on my network wireless, with a good signal, but on my Tablet Android (Google Nexus 7), may not go beyond the "getting IP address."

  I called technical support, the person he has tried to help me for about 1 hour, we have tried different settings, we have updated firmware 1.0.01 to 1.0.04)is, but it did not help. Now, he said that someone will call me tomorrow in the afternoon. But then I thought I would post this problem here so maybe I could fix my problem more quickly.

  My router is not Linksys, this is a Netgear, I don't have wireless problem when I connect my tablets or other device without thread on this, it's just that I bought this WAP610N to get the signal in my room, where I get no signal normally.

  If anyone can help me with this before they call me, or maybe I could not even find a better solution here on this community.

  When I connect the laptop to the old router (not), my laptop is able to get internet 30Mbps speed.

  Is there something I can do to improve the speed of the internet to my laptop computer connected to the router dual-band new?

  I understand that concern you. Let me help you with the issue.

  There could be various factors at the origin of the problem as a firewall router, firmware obsolete, obsolete network drivers, bandwidth, etc.

  Are you experiencing the issue when bypass you the router?

  Some instructions that you can follow as indicated below.

  1. Obstruct free paths between your router and receive computers. Physical obstructions more between your router and computer, the lowest, the wireless signal is likely to be. Place the router in a central location with clear lines of visibility on your computer will help boost the signal.
  2. Use a wireless Repeater. Sometimes, it is not possible to move a router and the computer to create direct sight lines, or a computer may be too far from the router to get a strong signal. A wireless Repeater takes in a wireless signal and sends it with increased resistance to increase the signal. Using a Repeater wireless between your router and your computer sends a signal around obstacles and can improve performance.
  3. Reduce signal interference. Like radios, when two wireless networks are in the same area, they can interfere with each other. If you know that another router wireless is close to you, you can move the router to another area or ask the owner of the other router to move sound.
  4. Reduce the use of the network. Sometimes slow Internet use on a wireless network is not the fault of the network, but that too many users are connected to the network. Disconnect other computers connected to the free network bandwidth, and increase the speed. It is also important to block free riders to connect to your network and slowing of setting up your router password protection. Check the user manual of your router on how to set up a password.

  I suggest you to first change the string in the configuration of the router page and check if the problem persists. If many people in your building using the same channel, then you might notice a slowdown in your Internet speed. Switching to one of these channels will reduce interference and possibly increase your speed.

  If the problem persists, then try to update the firmware on the router in router configuration page. Given that the laptop works very well on old router, maybe the new router requires compatible firmware to allow an intense sound signal from the router again.
