  • Sony Bravia KLV-40R452A. Green light keeps blinking and the Menu keeps popping up.

Hi, I have a Sony Bravia KLV-40R452A. Green light on the model continues to Flash. The TV starts, but the Menu keeps popping up.

I have reset to factory settings with the arrow upwards on the remote and turning the TV power on the back of the screen. It did not improve the issue. I changed the plug too, same result.

PS - I keep seeing that support here just redirects questions from the Asia-Pacific region at their Web site. There is no community online in Asia-Pacific. Please try to resolve my problem here. At least try.

Had a chat with Sony Online service. I am posting this here in case someone else has the same problem.

If the menu entry keeps popping up, just press and hold the menu behind the LCD (not on remote) button for 10-15 seconds until a message arrives "demo mode: Off '.

    This solved my problem.

  • FaceTime Camera: the green light next to the camera makes a slow blink, and there is no picture

MacBook (retina, 12 inch, early 2015) El Capitan 10.11.5 now ongoing enforcement.

Whenever I try to access the camera FaceTime (FaceTime, Photo Booth Apps) the green light next to the camera made a slow blink, and there is no picture.

The system report > camera > model ID: Apple camera VendorID_0x106B ProductID_0x1570

The numbers of the vendor and the product are correct?

The camera worked for 6 months passed and I used FaceTime several times without problem.  Several users are affected.

None of the recent changes to the system.

Since the problem began, I have:

    (1) installed Skype to see if one application other than an Apple app had a camera problem. Skype has no camera or.

    (2) improved 10.10.4 to El Capitan Yosemite.  Hoping that the upgrade would reload the application Face Time.   No change in symptoms

    (3) reinstalled the El Capitan using the OS X Internet recovery.  I have not used the time Machine.

(Note for everyone, it was simple and painless and does not need to reinstall applications.)  I want to reinstall MS OS was too simple)

    (4) several other threads suggested to reset NVRAM and SMC memory, even if they do not seem to be associated with the prob. who - without success here tried either

Any advice to determine whether it is hardware or software?  Still dig while you wait for a response.

  • Green light is on after saving workout

I noticed that when I did a workout using Apple training app, the green light remains on. However, using a third party bodybuilding training app, the sensor lights do not remain after the recording of the session as it does with Apple app. During this experience, I also see the green icon of the person currently running on the dial of the watch.

I was able to get light and the icon turns off by opening a series of other applications on the watch, it usually takes about three other applications to load before the icon and the light turn off. I think that's what ends up completely close the app to drive for some reason any. It's a little awkward to do and if I can't, she empties the battery fairly quickly.

I thought maybe with last update yesterday (2.2.1), I'd see a fix, but a test this morning revealed that there is a problem.

I wonder if anyone else can be faced with this or similar or if anyone my knowledge a fix.

    Thank you

    Hello

Check if an activity is currently suspended in a third-party application fitness on your watch (like the app of bodybuilding or any other application of fitness that you may have installed and already used).

If there is, put an end to this activity within this app on your watch (not your iPhone).

  • Desktop won't start. flashing green light

I have a 1318NX Compaq Presario SR which will not start!  There is a green light flashing on the back of the power supply; which is normally green 110V AC is plugged into it.  I tried the trick of the Start button while not plugging the power cord... no help.  I also opened the case and carefully got rid of any power cord of all internal devices... the light turns green only when I pull the main power of the motherboard!

I need to replace the motherboard?  Troubleshooting on hp.com site would indicate that the power supply is OK if the light is solid green.

    Thanks for your suggestions,

    Lou

My wife's computer had the same problem several times. A solution I found that worked before was to unplug the power cable from motherboard and the power supply cable to the back of the PC and then connect the power cable and plug the motherboard power cable while holding down the power button. Scary, to say the least, but it worked, until one day I accidentally spilled the bad circuit breaker and then spend two hours trying the same solution with no luck and the Google search again. And here's what I found. It is the simpler solution even more cruel. It is simple and noninvasive and no matter how tech savvy you are. Take a blow dryer and turn it on to blow air at the rear of the power supply for a few minutes. When you see the light turn green, you're ready. It's worked for me after that it worked for a hundred others, maybe more. A look at the testimonials on this site: http://talk19.wordpress.com/2008/01/13/hp-m7088d-power-supply-led-blinks-green/. It's a shame that nothing like that appears on any site of HP. So don't waste your money on a new MoBo or PSU. All you need is dry hair of your wife.

  • Toshiba 40RL953 became unresponsive; green light at the edge of

Today I have updated the firmware on my TV via the internet. After the update had completed, I browsed some improvements for awhile and watched television.

An hour or later, I became a game of children on Toshiba places.
After finishing with the game, I stopped and the TV became unresponsive. green light on the Board but no response to remote or onboard controls.

After 30 minutes of waiting, I turned off the wall, but when the computer reboots, the same question occurred, TV is completely insensitive with screen black but turned on.

While I wait for CS to get back to me, anyone have any ideas?
Can I previous back on firmware flash from a USB Pendrive without access to the menu system, or anything like that?

  • Satellite C660 - green light comes on but no display

    Hello

I have 3 laptops Satellite C660 all do the same things.
The power is turn on and get the green lights but no display on the screen. It happens from time to time.

Anyone know what I could be the motherboard is going or is it over heating?

    Thank you

I can't say with certainty what part could be affected, but fact is that if the Toshiba start screen does not appear at the beginning of the startup procedure. This means that the self-test isn t power began and could not be passed correctly. This could be linked to the problem of the motherboard or part connected to the motherboard. That is to say. RAM modules.

I recommend if possible, check the modules single RAM.

High internal temperature may affect the functionality of the laptop too. But you can avoid these problems, clean the cooling and cooling grids fans from time to time.

Interruption of the WiFi connection.  Green light is the Airport Express.  Settings Network said the cable for the Wi - Fi connection is not connected or the device at the other end does not respond.  Tried to reset Airport Express, but remained light amber or orange flashing.  I unplugged it and waited and plugged back into the light turned green.  Rebooted computer (Mac Pro). Parameters of said the same thing.  Managed to create a WiFi "network with the ethernet in the network settings section, and yet I am wireless.  I am online but not wired and WiFi settings still says not connected, and either the cable for the Wi - Fi is not plugged or the device at the other end does not respond. I don't understand this situation.  My original WiFi name disappeared.  How I am on the internet?

What is the brand and model of the modem Internet you have the AirPort Express directly connected by Ethernet? What exact model number is your Express?

  • Green light for the camera lights up whenever I go out full screen

Noticed for the first time tonight-

Whenever I'm in mode full screen, be it an application or a video (youtube, Plex), when I exit full screen, the green on my Macbook Pro mid-2014 retina camera flashes market and stop once. It's very relative if it only happens to me:)

I am running the latest version of El Capitan. Everyone knows about this problem? It happens no matter what app I leave full-screen - the Green camera light flashes.

Mine is not flash, but if it only happens once, I wouldn't worry on this subject.

If you are still worried, one of them will fix any problem camera correctable user:

    (1) If restarting your Mac does not solve your problem of camera,

    (2) use http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 from Apple.

(BTW - troubleshooting section called an "iSight" camera.  However, after that article was published, Apple has changed the name of the built-in camera on the recent "iSight" Macs "FaceTime", then "FaceTime HD."  Whatever the name of your built-in camera, the same info and troubleshooting applies.)

Be sure to test several Apple app (photo booth, FaceTime, iMovie, QuickTime Player, etc.) in more than one user account.  Do NOT use the 'Guest' for this test account.  If you don't have more than one user account for testing, create one now.  If you need help, how is explained in http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201754.

A 'Standard' user account is all you need for the tests.

    (3) If your camera will work correctly even with Apple applications, use OS X Recovery to completely reinstall your Mac OS since system recovery stored on your startup disk.  Don't bother test Skype or other 3rd party apps until you have your camera works with applications Apple.

    (4) If none of the suggestions above user solves your problem, contact Apple or one of the Apple-Authorized Service Provider to have your Mac professionally repaired. Don't forget to back up your Mac and Deauthorize iTunes before the call for tenders for the service.
