    Hello

Check with Dell and Broadcom, their documentation diagnostics online and drivers.
and ask questions in the forums about known problems. The two Dell driver update, then

    More troubleshooting:

It is possible that the drivers you use, even if later now available, are not
100% Windows compatible 8.1. Check with the manufacturer of your system (motherboard support
Manufacturer of custom systems) and/or the manufacturer of the device. This one, like Intel,
RealTek, Atheros and others may have newer versions is not available to the mother of system
-site of the manufacturer on board. And continue to check in with them regularly over the next year.
Also update the BIOS, drivers from the chipset of low level and major embedded and separate
    device drivers.

Download your applications and devices in Windows 8.1

Don't forget to check the updates of the firmware on the router, because who can have a definite effect
on connections Windows 8.1 same if other OS systems connections are fine.

Check with support of the manufacturer of the system (motherboard for customized systems manufacturer) and/or
the manufacturer of real device driver updates. If there is no newer versions re - install the same
ones. Ask known in their forums (if any) problems.

  • Satellite A300D-11 q issue with wireless network

    Hello!
My Satellite A300D-11 q has a problem with wireless communication. It has all the necessary drivers for Win XP installed and connects to the wireless router properly. However, if Windows is hibernating or going on stand by, after waking up, the computer seems connected to the router but there is actually no internet and no matter what. It gets only OK after reboot. It's bad enough.

Can anyone suggest how this can be corrected, if possible at all?

I use Satellite A300 with WXP and Win7 (dual boot) and I don t have these problems.

You can use combination of keys FN + F8 after stand-by mode to disable and enable the wireless network adapter check if the WIFI connection will be established?

  • BlackBerry BBM Smartphones do not work with wireless network? !

    Hello

as indicated in the section above, the BBM service has worked with me when I connected to the wireless network

but before two days I tried to open the BBM messenger through the connection to the wifi, but it doesn't work and all the

other applications (e.g. windows live messenger, facebook,...) do not work!

    So what's the problem.. ?

Hmmm... I don't know your data plan, so I'm not sure what "I have no credits" really means. But if it means that, in this condition, BBM does not work via the data network of the carrier at that time here, then it won't work either via WiFi. BBM is a service of exclusive BB for BB only to pay customers... If your data plan has expired, suspended, or otherwise does not, then the exclusive services BB also won't work, regardless of your channel access attempt. Even with access, via WiFi, your data plan must be active with your operator to use the BB exclusive services.

I can't guess precisely why your friend could use BBM in the situation you described. Perhaps he lacked credits on its data plan at home, which then allowed BBM to function via WiFi from anywhere. I have no way of knowing anything to this topic for sure.

So, basically, I guess my question is this:

    (1) right now, access BBM through your carrier data network?

    (2) if so, can you also then, as good this time, access BBM through WiFi?

If your answer to question 1 is 'no', there should be no hope for you to access the BBM via WiFi.

If the answer to question 1 is 'yes', then you should be able to access BBM through WiFi... If you can't, then we some additional diagnosis to make.

Thank you and let us know!

  • Problem with wireless network, Windows 8/8.1, Toshiba Sattelite L50-A-1EH

    Hello MS.

I have problems with my wireless network card. At this point, I think it's maybe a defective hardware. Here's the problem:

I have an access point SSID which connects, but disconnect every 10-15 minutes. It is offline for a minute until it reconnects automatically or if it is disconnected and I have to reconnect manually it reconnects quickly.

The laptop is a Toshiba Sattelite L50-A-1EH. Network card: Atheros AR956x.

To resolve this problem, I tried the following:

    • Install several drivers, Atheros themselves as well as the drivers of Toshiba for this specific model cell phone section.
    • Install these drivers on Windows 8.1, downgraded to Windows 8 (maybe better driver support was my guess, still no luck)
    • Tried driver versions: 0.0.75/0.0.263/0.0.270/0.0.287 (latest)
    • Changed automatic IPv4 DHCP to static IP
    • Modified profile profile manually created for this SSID wireless

In the event viewer Windows 8 under autoconfiguration service WLAN it says: autoconfiguration WLAN service cannot connect to a wireless network.

Reason for the failure: the pilot disconnected all combining.

The router is not the problem, I have several other devices connected to this point of access without any problems, or whatever.

At this point, I think it is a hardware on the Atheros AR956x card problem because I can not imagine that Toshiba would have a product on the market that is pre-installed with Windows 8.1 which does not work drivers.

    Any thoughts? Very much appreciated.

    Hello badr V.

Let me let you know that I finally managed to fix the problem.

I tried a lot of things, but what ended up working was the following:

Updated the BIOS with the latest version (1.6-> 1.7), decommissioning of 8.1 Windows of Windows 8 and installation of driver in charge of Windows 8. For me, it was 10.0.0.247 who continued to work throughout.

    Thanks for the guide if.

    Yours sincerely,

  • Using the network bridged with wireless network

I have an apple Airport Express devices wireless network that is connected to a network to offer wireless services in my environment.  The wireless device has a static IP 10.0.1.1 Apple.  The wired environment has the IP 192.168.1.1, which provides IP via DHCP addresses.  In my environment, there is a printer, scanner, fax device in connected to the wired environment.  Fusion is defined for use in network bridge.  If I connect the wired connection directly on my MAC I can scan documents directly to the computer using the Fusion, as the scanner is able to see the customer of Fusion on the 192... range.  Once I'm going wireless the scanner is no longer sees the MAC, I guess because the merge Client now has a 10... IP address.  How can I solve this problem.

    JoeRCPA wrote:

The Airport Express deivice out of the box has a default gateway address 10.0.1.1.  I don't know if it's editable because I have not talked to Apple.

Why should you talk to Apple? Simply bring up the utility from the Applications/Utilities/airport and see if you can reconfigure.

If you want to access the printer/scanner via WiF then it and the virtual machine must be on the same subnet, because it is not connected directly to the Mac.  You will have to reconfigure the Linksys router and or AirPort Express to work together on the same subnet, but not overlapping Pools of the scope of DHCP server IP addresses.

BTW it really isn't a question of Fusion pre is and is really more of a network hardware Configuration problem.

  • why I can't use my computer with wireless network key error?

I have tried everything to get this sorted subject and makes me crazy I can connect with THE yellow cable but looks a mess when I wireless I can see the wireless link, but I get an error message that reads

THE NETWORK PASSWORD NEEDS TO BE 40BITS OR 104BITS DEPENDING ON YOUR NETWORK CONFIGURATION, THIS CAN BE ENTERED AS 5 OR 13 ASCII CHARACTERS OR 10 OR 26 HEXADECIMAL CHARACTERS.

I SPOKE TO SKY AND THEY SAY IT COULD BE MY SETTINGS ON THE COMPUTER AND TO ASK HERE ANY HELP WOULD BE WELCOME THANKS CORDIALLY CHRIS

Make sure you have the latest Service Pack installed (SP3).

Go into your router and select Security WPA2-PSK(with AES) if it is available.  Secure your computer wireless properties select WPA2-Personal security type and select the type of AES encryption.

Enter your password for the router and use the same password when connecting with your computer.

Do NOT enable authentication IEEE 802. 1 x on your computer or the router.  In the router DO NOT select a type safety 'company '.  Company type safety requires authentication IEEE 802. 1 x and IEEE 802. 1 x authentication requires a radius server, these methods of authentication are used usually only in the business circles.

When I ran the store and followed the recommended steps he returned with the answer "the connection between your access point, router or cable modem and the internet is broken." I know that is not the case because our other computer works very well through our wireless router. In any case, I just got fact try all the steps posted in Microsoft Answers for this problem (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/window-networking-troubleshoot-error-the/c130ede9-757e-4224-9ae8-3cceb82eeb74?page=2) and it has not changed; My wife's computer is not connecting. Is there anyone out there that can help me understand this? We have both run Windows 7 on our computers, if that helps at all.

You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

  • Serial number SA50 with wireless networks.

Successfully, I connect to the internet through Wireless LAN communication. But the internet does not work. The State of the connection for example 70 packets sent but zero packets received shows. The packets received is always zero.
How can I solve this problem?
    HELPPPPPP.

    Hello

You have connected to the wireless LAN, but you cannot enter all websites. Is this good?
Did you use encryption keys? Try to connect internet without for securing the WiFi network. Please disable the Windows Firewall.

  • Need help with wireless for my x120e driver.

This was the hardest thing ever. I've tried literally all the LAN and WAN wireless drivers under all 4 the x120e the driver options. Which is strange because there are 4 options for the x120e when looking for it. As noted here: (http://i.imgur.com/4K9sB.png). I'd love to help in getting the correct driver. Any help is appreciated, let me know if there are any other necessary information.

You can use the Exchange on your vSwitch, but in reality it is not best practice and I would suggest your more NICs for resilience and security

  • Help with home network Windows 7, Windows Vista

I have a computer that I want to store all my files on and then be able to access other computers in my house.  So far, I can see all the files on the computer at home, but I can't add new files from other computers on the network, nor can I add or move files.

I can open the folders on the computer at home from any other computer on the network.  I put permissions to everyone full control, but still I can not change or move all the folders.  The computer is using Windows 7, the main computer that I am trying to access is under Vista.
    Thank you!

    SOLVED.

It seems that on the computer at home I don't had not yet set up the permissions for the Everyone group to full control.
  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: HP8625 sleep mode/wireless network connectivity

I recently bought an OfficeJet Pro 8625 and it worked fine for a few days, with everyone in the House, being able to print wireless connection network (Verizon FIOS via an Airport base station).  However, now it won't keep (or restore) a Wi - Fi connection after going to sleep.

I can get the printer to work, if I turn it works, then immediately print (but only one machine... If I need to print from two different computers, I have to restart again to use the second computer).

This is the case for all computers in my house - using several OS X (El Capitan, Mavericks and Snow Leopard) and the other with Windows 10.  I tried the troubleshooting tips that I could locate, and the firmware is up to date.

I should be able to send a document to the printer from anywhere in the House, from any computer, without walking to the printer and restart it first.  A network printer should be sprained able himself, reconnect to the wifi and print jobs sent to it, but mine doesn't.

How can I solve this problem?

These settings are to set up your wireless printer to stay connected to your router, wireless devices stay better connected and makes your router secure and hack proof.

While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers must always be assigned an IP (fixed) manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network.

    1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here (Windows solution 4, static IP).
    2. Or check in the printer "Auto off" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check the properties of your printers.
    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
    4. If necessary and you have assigned a static IP address, try using auxiliary for the preferred DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS server.
    5. Wireless printers work only on the 2.4 Ghz band.
    6. Make sure the printer is on the latest firmware by checking with the HP support site.
    7. Check all devices wireless in your home for interference. Check microwave, babyphones, phones, wireless and wireless alarm systems are a big culprit. Any of these will knock at your printer wireless intermittently.
    8. Make sure that your printer and router are at least 6 feet, independently of the other.

In the router: (refer to the manual of your router for more information)

    1. Use a fixed wireless channel as the 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.
    2. Set the router to 20 Mhz only or 145Mbps router function.
    3. Always use WPA2-AES encryption (personal), but you can try the "mixed" mode
    4. Disable the WPS and never use it and disable the UPnP for the security of routers. No one can hijack your system now and help with wireless connectivity (if you want to know why, research on the web).
    5. If you have a router dual band (2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz bands), make sure the SSID is NOT identical, they must be different for all the bands, even for networks without comments.
    6. SSID broadcast should be enabled.
    7. Save all the settings. Food at the same time, wait 2 minutes.  Power on router wait 2 minutes.
    8. Marketing the printer and check that it reconnects to the router.

Windows 7/8/8.1 is discovered the system on or off?

    1. Control Panel/Network and Internet/network and sharing Center / advanced sharing settings.
    2. Under home or work (current profile) / network discovery.
    3. Select "Turn on network discovery" and save the changes.

Now last thing to do once everything above has been tried and you still have the same problem, completely uninstall and delete the printer and its software.

Use http://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php and powerful Scan at the end.

Now go back and reinstall the drivers and full software on the HP website.

Last resort effort - if your printer has an Ethernet connection, suggest you to get some adapters line and convert your Ethernet wiring for your printer.
