Hi I have a brand new HP pavilion dm1 and I get a blue screen: BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER
Since I started using my new laptop I randomly get a blue screen that says: BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER. The other info I got is the following:

My laptop HP Pavilion is not completely frozen. My touchpad works, like some of the function keys mute and light/darken the display, the arrow to the top so I can see the desktop background (lock screen?) with nice photo, date, time, and battery status.

I have a brand new deskjet 3520 I bought yesterday and ink installation cartridges do not work. I just unpacked it the printer and everything was fine until the cartridges. Its not even give an error message, it's just stuck on the screen "Please use the cartridges supplied with the printer CONFIGURATION. What should I do to fix this?
I'd start by checking to make sure that all packing material is removed from the product. Here is a document for you printer that takes into account the mistakes of the print cartridge. If you reach the end of this document and still have the error message I would contact HP Total Care. This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.

I get the blue screen with the exception of system Service in Windows 8. It seems that many people have of it. I can't use my computer without losing all the data every few minutes. It is brand new. According to me, a recent update of Windows, maybe the 2778344 which updates win32k.sys to the 6.2.9200.16503 version, could cause a conflict with the AMD graphics driver.
Many users report the same error recently and so far have all AMD/ATI graphics cards.
If all goes well the graphic driver update will help.
If the problem persists, consider uninstalling 2778344.
Then, at the moment, 'hide' 2778344.

Running Windows 7 Home and Office on a laptop computer brand new and am startint to get the blue screen often enough so that in the middle of something.
The screen came back 1 or 2 times, but usually, I restart and hope the laptop comes back to life at this time.

My brand new Lightroom missing dehaze and fill with edge panorama!
I just bought Lightroom after seeing the great way of panoramas with fill in banks to merge, and also a video on using dehaze to delete the photos.
Yet, in my brand new Lightroom there is no dehaze slider, and after doing a panorama there are modifiable no white edges and no option to fill the edges!
To make sure that I had everything working properly I just bought the full version in a store here in Denmark, because my internet is very slow and unstable should I avoid online programs
I made sure to have the latest 6.5 update, so it should work, I see videos on youtube on dehaze use, yet this slider is missing in my Lightroom new!
These new features are available with a subscription to creative cloud LR and are not available in the stand-alone version.

New HP Pavilion DM1 4000 series max memory card

I am looking to buy a new ultraportable laptop and like the look of the new series DM1-4000. However, it seems that there are two versions available in the United Kingdom - the 4004SA DM1 and DM1-4027SA. The data sheet pdf, the noticeable difference only seems to be the maximum amount of memory installed (4 GB in the 4004, 6 GB in the 4027). I don't understand not why HP would impose this limit as both have 2 user accessible so-DIMM slots - my preference would be to upgrade the memory 8 GB by replacing both of the 2 GB so - DIMMS with 4 GB (after installing W7 64-bit rather than the stock windows W7 32 bit, it comes with).
My question is this - is correct these limits of 4 GB or 6 GB or is it just a marketing thing?
Interesting, the Maintenance and Service Guide (PDF) DM1-4000 series indicates the memory installable max is 8 GB.

Edit: Also noted there is a model 4020SA and 4020EA... both specify also 4 GB memory Max.

The maintenance manual makes it clear that portable computers running AMD processor have 2 slots of memory each hold 4 GB of memory. See Chapter 1, page 2.
Now, the Intel PC base seems to indicate that they cannot contain only 4 GB maximum memory - affordable housing from a single client.
