My printer works fine with online printing, but does not copy offline.  He's old, do I need a new printer?

Please check back with the results of your efforts.

If you are unable to copy after resetting Powere there may be a problem with the printer hardware that may not be able to be resolved.

If you need to replace the printer HP Tech Support may be able to save a little money with the upgrade program. What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

Step 1. Open the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter the product number or select Auto detection

Step 3. Scroll up to "still need help? Fill out the form to select your contact options.

Step 4. Scroll down and click on: contact HP options - click Get phone number

File number and phone number are displayed.

    Hi, I have a HP Deskjet F380 all-in-one. It worked perfectly for months until this one day he started to have problems when printing. When I hit the button "print" the printer take too long to print and it is extremely slow, it prints a little then stops (20 seconds or more) then print more.     I solved the problem myself. The black ink cartridge was defective, I replaced it, and now my printer works perfectly!

    I have a HP printer Deskjet F380 (S) NC 73 NGZ14S which worked perfectly on Windows XP.     Yes, I would uninstall the driver and software and then download the driver for Windows 7 and install it.

  • DeskJet F380 print only page 1 - only when the first powered

    I work under Windows 7. I checked the toner level - not low; cleaning cartridges does not help.  When the power is turned on, the first page prints ok, not strong. The following pages, it acts like it is printing but prints pages white, totally clean.

    Thanks for your suggestions.  I wonder if it's time for a new printer.

    I see you are having some problems printing with Deskjet F380.
    I'll be happy to help you.

    I would disable all the start up programs to make sure that something in the background is not cause printing problems.

    Go to start, run, type msconfig, click on the Services tab.
    Click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box.
    Click Disable all.

    Click on the tab at the top of the page, select Disable all the startup, apply, OK and restart the computer.

    Temporary disable all Antivirus software.

    Then try to print again.

    You will need to go back and allow all when done and turn on the Antivirus software.

    Let me know how it goes and we'll go from there.

    I understand you want to be able to send a multiple page scan. I can help you today.

    I don't have access to the Cue 13 software you use, so I'll give you two ways to be able to check the parameter to create a separate file for each page scanned or not. If these steps do not match the software you are using, please provide a screenshot of the software.

    Most likely, these steps are similar to your software. Software reference 14.

    Open the software of HP Solutions Center for scanning, click Change settings, click the advanced picture settings, check scan several photos in an individual file. Press OK.

    V22 Lite software.

    In the Solutions Center HP scanning software, click Advanced settings, click the file tab.

    Uncheck the create a separate file for each scanned page.

    Press OK.

    Try the following procedure and let me know if something changes or if you encounter any problems. It will help to uninstall all printer software and should allow a clean install. This can solve the problem.

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. run the L4uninstall.bat6. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer

    7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    I see that you have some problems with printing from your PC to 10 Windows for Deskjet F380 all-in-one printer. I can help with that.

    Here's what we will do:

    1. If the printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    3. Right-click on your printer icon listed.
    4. Click on remove the instrument.
    5. Repeat for all other icons printer listed.
    6. If you have removed the USB cable and plug. If not, click Add a printer to add to the queue new print.

    At this point, you should be able to print. If you are unable to do so, the next thing to do would be to start printing and scanning doctor. You can find the Print and Scan Doctor by clicking on this link. It will be either allow you to print, it will provide you with a list of questions, he found.     Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you would like to know if you can print mode single cartridge with this printer. I would like to help you today.

    According to the manual, it does not indicate that you can simply use the cartridge in this model. The two cartridges need to be installed and work to continue printing with this model.

    When you receive a low-ink warning message, make sure you have an available replacement cartridge. You must also replace the print cartridges when you see has passed out in text, or if you are having print quality problems associated with print cartridges

    Very strange. The download works as I tried it on my system. Maybe it's a "glitch" in your Internet browser.

    Rather that running can I you select Save. If you see the option you just save the download on your desktop then it will be easy to find later. Once the download is complete, you should get the option to run it. If you see this race to success. An extraction will occur automatically. Once extraction is complete the installation window should open for you. Once you see the installation window you simply continue through the instructions on the screen to install your printer.

    If 'Save' the download doesn't download number, please click here to access the download page again. Once this page please right click on the file name and click on Save target under or Save the link under.

    Save a window opens now. Please save the download to your desktop. You can rename the download if you wish. Finally, click Save.

    Once the download is completed, you should get the pop up to run it. If you do not get this prompt once the download is complete, click on the download that has been saved on your desktop and select run when prompted.

    Hi, I got the XL cartridges for my deskjet f380 for the first time. regular cartridges are empty, I replaced first the Tricolor and now black. The printer worked fine with the replacement of the Tricolor, but the habit now to work with the installed Black XL. I've deleted and reinstalled several times, black checked that the contacts are clean they are and there is no more suggestions in the book after that beyond replacement.  It feels as if it was almost too big for the carrier when it is installed and clings a little. I use more pressure inside to the smaller size. the cartridge is a registered dealer and has been a new HP cartridge, xl21, which is right for the printer, and as it is now some time after buying them they were installed I am unable to return to the store and I am not happy to have to pay $60 for a new test the theory that it is defective. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi thanks for the reply, I bought a carton of smaller capacity and it works fine. Before problem seems to be the XL cartridge.
