  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that, after the update of Windows 10 anniversary, you had some sound problems.  I'm happy to give you a helping hand with this.

  Check the support page for your model of HP Pavilion 500-215el desktop PC, there don't seem to be updated drivers, and you have already tried to reinstall existing ones.

  You can always try to use the HP Support Assistant, HP PCs - using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7) to see if there is a driver available that is not displayed on the support page. It is unlikely, but there is always a chance that the page has not yet updated.

  My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176 does not print after update of Windows 10 anniversary update. I've updated two computers (HP Compaq Elite SFF 8300 and E6320 Dell), Hp with 2013 installed Office and Dell with Office 2010 installed. The printer is connected to my network. The latest "complete solution drivers' HP was installed before the upgrade. Printer does not printer-> Printtest properties, error notification appears and asks me if I want to troubleshoot the error. I can see the printjob in the spooler, but it is immediately deleted. Does not print any programs I've tried, with the exception of the notebook HP Print and Scan Doctor! When I troubleshoot with Windows printtroubleshooter, no problems found.   First of all, it fixed my problem of printing when I tried with a new user on both computers. Yet, I was a little confused that two updates and an installstion clean "updated anniversary" should lead to a curropted user profile!

  Then when I did what I always be with new computers/users, to the environment variables 'TMP' and 'TEMP' C:\Temp for the new user. Printing stops again. Extract a little more and found that users on C:\Temp needed to be 'total control '. 'Change' was not enough. Perhaps one of the new things in birthday update?

So maybe there is a problem with the device driver for the built-in keyboard with the update of the anniversary. The keyboard works perfectly until Windows Update installed upgrading birthday.

  Please can someone advise how to reset my PC (and where I can get the 32-bit Windows 10 appropriate ISO file or other) Windows 10 Version 1511 (i.e. before the update of the anniversary)?

  Or, Alternatively, device drivers are valid for Windows 10 Version 1607 for builtin keyboard, trackpad, port, microSD, microphone and speaker available somewhere? I can't see on the Lenovo Web site.

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

  In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

  In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

  When the reinstallation of Chipset has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When he finished, restart the computer again and let windows to load completely for a few minutes before checking it in.

The first is "Conexant Audio of ISST" and the second "Intel High Definition Audio". I know not weather it was the case before the update. I just recognized it after the update when I had sound problems.

  In any case, on a sound start works on the other boot it does not work. It seems that Windows chooses the sound card, every time when it starts. Sometimes it takes the bad sound card.

  I tried to uninstall maps its and their resettlement. On the HP site, there is a driver for the Conexant map bot no driver for Intel High Definition Audio card. 10 Windows itself is not find a driver for this sound card.   The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver for the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 adapter - 802.11 and see if that helps any.

  I just installed my HP Envy and wanted to set up a recovery disk.  The USB key must be less than 32gigs, but the example has not been updated for Windows 10 the instructions say.  It shows a recovery screen for a laptop of Win8 with the source of recovery like 17 concerts.   Is there a way to check the requirements for the front to accept the HP one time recovery option.  I have a new 16 GB USB key and wanted to make sure that it is large enough.

  Also do a backup image to DVD?   If so, how many DVDs?   The laptop is new and I added only Chrome and some minor programs.  My data files are always on an external hard drive.

  To be honest, I don't know what size will be that these recovery files are because they can vary from the version of Windows to another. They can vary from a model.

  In my opinion, 16 GB is probably not enough.

  DVDs are usually 6 (6x4.7 GB = about 28 GB) but this can vary from one model.

  This possibility of imbedding maybe once, there are other ways that you can save your system indefinitely.
