  Hi, just bought this laptop (5 days), the cooling fan is not turned off, the computer feels cool so don't know why it has run all the time. Read other articles on the upgrade of the BIOS but wouldn't go the upgrade in case missed me something obvious. It is a laptop replacement after the last Toshiba laptop (3 weeks old) no longer works in total. Prefer if possible to fix this with the help, rather than lose the computer for 3/4 weeks for repair, any advice would be greatly received.

  I put t know how you use your laptop computer but try to please use it with balanced power management. Change coolant also option method of optimized battery option. Cooling method you can find in the power options advanced > Toshiba Power saver settings.

  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the HP software framework entry and select uninstall.  Once this done, also check if there is an entry for HP CoolSense and if there are, uninstall the present as well.

  Once completed, restart the laptop.

  Tap here to f10 as soon as you start Notepad to open the menu of the Bios.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  When windows has completely recharged, download and install the latest version of the HP Software Framework on the following link.

  When the installation is complete, restart the computer again.

  Then, download and install the CoolSense application at the link below.

  HP CoolSense v2.0

  Once the installation is complete, check if CoolSense now works properly.

  I understand that you updated to Windows 10 but due to difficulties, you did a reset back to Windows 7.

  You install the drivers for the DESIRE for laptop - 15 t - k100 CTO HP software and drivers , but have been unable to install the graphics drivers or locate the software feel cool.

  To install the graphics drivers download and save the appropriate driver in a location known as your office.

  Uninstall and remove the graphics drivers.

  Restart your computer.

  Now try to install the driver of the saved DOWNLOAD.

  Uninstall the software Cool sense.

  Restart your computer.

  On the page of software and the driver under "Software Solution", you will find the software Cool sense. Download and reinstall.

• Pavilion dm1z-4200: Pavilion dm1z-4200 multiple problems

  My laptop, model mentioned above, is about 4 years old and the display of several annoying habits or problems of age at least.

  To try to see what can be slow laptop ith, I deleted some programs, noting that there are literally two dozen HP sponsored programs, ranging from the diagonstic tools Drive keeps and feel Cool. Who is needed, what installation can I get rid of it?

  I cleaned the programs loading at startup. I used CC cleaner to clean the boot and the registry.  I used Malware Bytes to check the bad things. Make sure that the MS updates are common, as well as those for the bios and drivers.   So the question: are these normal symptoms for a laptop in four years?

  I read your message and understand that your HP Pavilion dv6-6155tx fan is noisy and hot running. I'm happy to help you with this problem. First of all, please perform a reset. Once this is done, please follow the steps described in these documents:

  Since this new support update Hp. My Hp application feeling disappeared. I click the icon and it says "point"HPThermalAssistant.exe"EC shortcut has been moved or changed willl does not work." I really want that Cool App way back. Until I put the fan 3 control Performance parameters, Normal, quiet. I use the performance feature a lot of coding and games so my program strangles the cpu and it protects from overheating. I also like the silent feature. Now that the application has disappeared. Wondering how to fix this problem and where can download. I look in the new HP support assistant and can't find it. Honestly, I loved the Hp support assistant better old (that dark black) this new (theme white one). This program prevents the goin more than 85 degrees celeus my laptop. Now without it, the heat is up to 95 degrees.

  Can someone please help? I found a link for the download. But installation stopped between asking for some .NET framework. I downloaded the .NET framework, but while it is installed, he threw a pop up saying that my PC had a newer version.

  Kindly convey meaning Cool HP can be used on Windows 10. I used this software on Windows 8.

  Who is normal and it s according to the laptop and the material. Different laptops have different cooling systems. This would mean that there are some laptops with no holes directly under the fan air intake. For fresh air holes are placed elsewhere to generate some air flow.
