HP H9 1215 T card video GT630 GT630 (OEM) GT630Cheetah

(1) seeking more information on the map of GT630 Cheetah 2 video provided with my

HP h9 1215T Win 7 64 bit computer.

(2) the information below was sent to me as the only information available on 630 GT which was in the

computer.  I went through a lot of discussions as to the exact video card that came with my computer, with sales of HP

as I thought I was getting DP GT630 (two ports), which was represented on the Hp site.

Cheetah 2-(((exact copy of the data sent by the HP technical support)))

1 HDMI
2 DVI

Maximum resolution:
HDMI: 1920 x 1080 (up to 1080 p)
DVI (dual-link): 2560 x 1600 x 32bpp @ 60 Hz (up to 1080 p)
Analog VGA: 2048 x 1536 x 32bpp @ 60 Hz (using the adapter cable)

2 GB of onboard memory
size of the memory to 64-bit

Blu - ray Disc support
Total power consumption 50 W maximum
Active dynamic speed cooling fan
Up to two displays at the same time in these configurations: DVI, HDMI and VGA + HDMI (using the adapter cable)

(3) the card actually provided with the 1215T isn't like the four 630 s gt on the Nvidia site.

The card I have is known as a Cheetah 2 according to HP tech Support; the card is red instead of green, but there the

form of OEM GT630 from NVidia.  I was disappointed to see that it is 64 bit rather than more

standard 128-bit (or higher).

(4) had he not supported my 2550 X 1400 monitor, I would have returned the computer.  But it work well and

pretty much plays the Blu Ray.

Red GT 630 Cheetah has only two ports, like the NVIDIA 630 (OEM) has three ports.

-If anyone has more detailed data on the Red Cheetah 2 GT 630 card, please advise.

BH - the motherboard is a Formosa.

BevGG,

The reference to the Cheetah is valid, as it is referred to in the graphics card OEM HP part number. Which means that he was specially manufactured for HP and was spec'd at their cost and their needs. I found 64 and 128-bit Cheetah... but once again, HP spec'd a different set of outputs. I found the version 'red' here. It has 2 ports.

Sorry, does that answer your questions, but I hope you have been helped.

    Looking for help.

You are this posting in the wrong forum, this is a forum of the laptop and is a desktop system.

Yes, you can get a video card, install and use it.  However, you sure is that the video works is not, or is it possible that the video didn't come out because you have a larger problem as the system's not initialization and display at all, because of a sort of failure such as food or the card mother?

If you have a spare PSU, you can try exchanging it instead of the original.  If you have a spare video card, even a few old (especially some former) PCI worthless, that you can install to see if you get any screen output.  Note that you need to maybe use the CMOS clear jumper or remove the battery for 10 minutes, while the power supply is disconnected after adding a video card, or by deleting and trying to use the video again.

I don't know if the specifications of the two Councils are quite similar, you should look at the datasheet for your system and compare that against what ebay sellers asking them is capable of.   Generally if you have a processor socket 775 lines they list and your using the same chipset, you should be able to simply plug in the parts and windows must be able to start pretty far to plug-and-play all the minor differences.  This is the situation in which I expected, you can buy the replacement cards model you mentioned and it works perfectly except possibly having to install a driver or two, but I can't be sure without detailed specifications.  They are very close to the info, I have found, might even be just a 2nd revision of the same Council of PCChips where everything what they changed was a clock IC generator or something similar that would not do your use in any way, except that to be sure, you have the good bios when looking on the HP site for the models with this Council in there instead of the bios for your system model #. If they take even a different bios which they cannot.

  • Update card video for HPE H8-1221

I want to improve my systems video card which is currently a Radeon HD Eyefinity 7570. The motherboard is a H-Joshua-H61-Μatx according to the number of model here. Recently, I bought a GeForce GTX 760 TI that wouldn't work. I followed all the instructions and did some research online and found that it was perhaps because of the older generation. But to look into my motherboard, it apparently has the right port PCI express * 16 (Gen2.0).

There is currently no upgrade of the BIOS that I can find on there and I really want to upgrade this old Radeon. I would appreciate a list or a compatible graphics cards recommendation so I don't have to keep purchase and installation of these devices

The NVIDIA GTX 760 won't run on your PC with BIOS version 7.  RMA graphics cards as being not not compatible.  Try one of the graphcis cards below.  If you can't find the exact model on NewEgg then try Tiger Direct or Amazon.

  • How can I add more memory card video graphics integrated on Satellite L30

I want to allocate more memory to my chart.

    How can I do this?

    I use Vista Home OS.

    Thank you very much.

It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have.
Either you have a defined memory or with shared memory graphics card.
The shared memory card also uses RAM for video operations.

You can upgrade RAM to the maximum level and then your graphics card can use more RAM for clean operations.

  • Will be GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 128-Bit card video work with HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010?

Hi, I need to update my graphics card and I was wondering if this graphics card work with my HPE h8-1010.

    EVGA GTX of GeForce G 02-P4-3757 - KR 750 Ti 2 GB 128 - Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w / ACX cooling video card

Everything on the PC is stock.

If this would not work, please tell me why not so that I can pick up another card that meets the requirements.

    Thank you much in advance.

Requirements for the EVGA graphics card

    • 300 Watt or greater power monophase.* *.
    • PCI Express, PCI Express 2.0 or PCI Express 3.0 compatible motherboard with a chart.
    • A PCI-E power connector 6 pin available.

For the EVGA card you will need a power 6-pin PCIe connector. Your PSU stock doping likely not have one so that means updated POWER supply required. PSU stock is a little power for the treatment as well. EVGA said minimum 300 Watt, but the majority of gamers and enthusiasts use 450 Watts minimum. For your Carmel motherboard, I would consider a MSI Radeon R7 250, 2 GB, PCI-E 3.0, card DirectX 11.2 rather than unity of EVGA. With an upgrade of the power supply or video card should work without problem. POWER supply upgrade: I highly recommend Corsair as a choice of valuation gamer and enthusiast. Great price for the value. A Corsair CX430 or CX600 PSU would be a great choice. The price is also quite reasonable. The cards are in the following link

    Hello

The HPE 337-C has a 300 Watt power supply.  The fastest video card without having to replace the power supply is the NVIDIA GT 240 1 GB DDR5, if you do not need DirectX 11.

Review the specifications of performance ATI and NVIDIA . Look at the specifications of strip memory bandwidth and level of DirectX support.

How to replace a power supply.

How to replace a video card.

If you want a faster card such as the NVIDIA GTX 460, then you need to replace the power supply.  About a block of POWER 500 watts should be plenty.

You need to open your PC and measure the physical dimensions of your diet.  Here is a list of the things to consider:

    1. Specifications
    2. Total power - important
    3. amperage 12 + v - important
    4. Modular - is not required, but I like the flexibility
    5. Warranty
    6. I7 and SLI ready
    7. Efficiency rating
    8. Cost
    9. The physical size - standard ATX PSU is 5.5 "by 5.9" by 3.4 "give or take a few tenths
    10. Only one + 12 volt rail is a better choice.

www.Newegg.com has many choices of power supplies.  Corsair, OCZ, Rosewill, Thermaltake...

For games, what is the best Vista or XP?

If you don t need the DirectX10 game so I advise to use the XP operating system for the games because Vista needs of more material resources like Win XP.

With respect to the memory of the graphics card and sharing with the RAM:

The laptop seems to support the ATI Radeon X 1200, and this card supports 128 MB video memory dedicated. In addition, it supports 191 MB of shared system memory (when memory 1 GB system) using 2 GB of RAM, the system memory that is shared is higher.

The fact is that this shared memory is assigned automatically and if the game needs of more memory then the graphic driver controls and actions she!

  • updated block FOOD & card video on Pavilion HPE h8 - 1070t

I have studied various posts on this topic, but it could still use a recommendation please.   I want to improve my video card to a Radeon HD 7870 (first choice) or Radeon HD 7850 (second choice).  They all need two 500 watt supply.  I have a HP 460 watt stock in there.  I think to upgrade the PSU power SUPPLY Corsair CX600 or TX650 and wanted to check first.  My system:

    HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1070t (2600 i7 quad-core)

    2 hard drives

1 Blu - Ray combo player

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Those are good pirates for my model and if so should I "V2" version of them?

    Thank you!

Both the CX600 V2 Corsair and the Corsair TX650 V2 are power supplies, but because of the narrowness of the HP case and the little space between the power and CD/DVD/BluRay drives... I recommend that you install the slightly smaller CX600.

  • Card video PCI-e, being not recognized by system

    Hi all

    You are the very welcome.

I agree with vynga that you should get integrated VGA video and digital display port.

The advantage of the display port would be the Vice of analog digital video output, which is what you get on the VGA port.

Display port is good for video display HD, if that matters to you.

Me, I would get the video from HD 6450 card and have 3 options... VGA. HDMI and DVI out and a boost in graphics to start performance.  Free up system memory that would to the integrated graphics card.

You should be able to run two monitors of VGA and DVI ports.
