HP LaserJet 600 M601: paper jam / error

After printing a few pages of a file, the small screen on the printer shows 59.05.60 error. It also dictates Continue turn the printer power off & then on again. But even after turning off & then again the same text 59.05.60 error comes up with the same statement Continue turn the printer power off & then on again. Sometimes also paper jamming occurs. Very frustrating; don't know what to do.

I think that it is a problem engine drum.  Sometimes, the problem may be the toner cartridge.  To test remove the toner cartridge and the printer.  It come from the error or he asks of the toner cartridge.  If it's the error the drum motor must be replaced.  If he asks you the toner, put it in and see if the error.  If not chances are the drum motor still has a problem, but if you have another toner even one that is empty, put it to see if the error is not there when you turn the printer on again.  You can also go to the diagnostics menu under the menu administration and then component and the test with the removed toner cartridge engine.  If the test fails which will confirm that the engine needs to be replaced.  If the error has just occurred with the recent replacement of the toner cartridge, chances are that the toner cartridge is bad with the drum being seized preventing the engine from running.

As soon as the printer powers on it the ink carrier Wizz backward real quick (as he struggles to move) and then gives me a paper jam error (the resume light flashes and error appears on my screen). He did the same thing when I try to print anything (including the status report page).

When I up the access panel upward (power on), the carrier of ink isn't even move to ink cartridges which can be changed. I try to move with force, but it does not move (if I use more strength, somethings will break). Ink is a bit new, so I don't know it still has ink in there.

    The steps I've tried:

plugged the power supply into the wall outlet

    roller cleaning

THERE IS NO PAPER or PAPER PIECES BETWEEN ROLLERS (I checked like 20 times)

    reset the printer

There is a large black gear coupled to a white average speed on the left side near the bottom of the printer. I manually drove the speed by pressing (rotation) of North (or forward or to the rear of the printer) for a few seconds and once I did that. the ink carrier was able to move as it's supposed to, and I could see the ink. but once the power is back on, the carrier of ink was in the locked position and fights again and gives me the paper jam error.

I don't have really any troubleshooting documents on the CV online on how to fix a jammed media of ink and clearing paper jams, so I'm out of options.

    It is plugged into USB

The main problem is the paper jam error.

I don't know if the stuck carrier of ink is the cause.

    Hello, @ghlowell,

Thank you for the update. You can get the serial number of the printer using the HP utility on your computer. You must have the printer software installed to get the same thing.

Try the following steps to get the serial number.

    • Go to 'Finder' - select 'Applications' - folder Select "HP" or "Hewlett Packard".
    • Now find and open the "HP utility.
    • Click on "device information. Ideally, this should give details of the printer including the serial number.

Let me know if this helps. Good luck!

    See you soon

  • Paper jam error

    Hello

Three weeks ago, I bought a HP Envy 7640 all-in-one printer.

It worked fine until I hit a 'paper jam error.

I worked through the step by step manual HP full address (cleaned, checked, rebooted etc.) to fix this one, but nothing helps. I'm sure that it is clean and it is / was absolutely no paper left.

I tried the thinner paper (80 grs.) instead of 90 grs. but it does not help.

It takes a minute or two and it still gets stuck on the "paper jam error".

    Who can help me?

  • reset password (cold reset) to a Laserjet 600 M601?

Someone knows how to do a reset of the a Laserjet 600 M601 (cold reset) password?

No reset 'by default'. I need to reset the password.

    BB

Do a search for the repair of LaserJet Pro 600.

You won't find Manual printer maintenance on the HP website, but they are there.

Depending on how stubborn the s of the printer, you may have to use the pre start menu do a partial clean.

A word of warning, a full clean will scan all the firmware on the printer and it will need to be recharged. I do only one full when I have two different low capacity Flash DRIVE with a copy of the firmware on them.

  • HP LaserJet 600 M601; do not print redux

As another forum poster, my HP LaserJet 600 M601 stopped printing after having worked well for a few weeks after the updated OS x 10.8 (mid-2011 iMac).  But I can't seem to implement the corrections suggested in this thread.

I installed the sofyware update and restarted the Mac without effect.

I don't seem to have an identity of Hello to try the workaround that worked for another poster.

I don't find any option to "Reset printing system", either by pop-up menu drop-down, or the button.

The computer sees the printer connected via USB.  He says it's printing, then going to "waiting for printer to become ready" and stays there but no further progress.  The printer says it is "ready".

Does anyone have any other patches for this?  I just bought the printer about a month ago.  Already, he can't be obsolete can?

Just do an uninstall and then reinstall drivers from the Apple site (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US).

Rebooted and reconnected, printed two documents successfully.  I hope that the fix is real.  Thanks for any help potential that would have given you.

PS - Runs the update of the software HP through the app store first didn't work.

  • Overview of the Mac and TeXShop print not PDF correctly on Laserjet 600 M601

    Hi all

New here and of course with an insoluble problem.

Since the upgrade to: (10.8.3), one Mountain Lion iMac and new HP printer, I cannot preview either no Mac or TeXShop to PDF print correctly on my printer HP Laserjet 600 M601 (this by the way is a "new" printer so I can't compare with how it was before the Mountain Lion or the iMac). I have the following software to print:

    Overview of the Mac

    Abobe Reader 9.5.5

    Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.5

    Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.7

    TeXshop 3.18

    and I can print for

    HP Laserjet 600 M601

    Laserprinter LBP5300 color Cannon

Are the combinations that will never give a correct output (bad fonts, spacing of mathematical fonts bad garbage)

Overview of the CMA on HP printer

    TeXshop on HP printer

Other combinations work OK. PDF created in TeXShop will also print correctly if printed through Adobe or on the barrel.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Cheers, Bob.

I would recommend that you download the driver through Apple Software Update and try to install it this way on computers running OS X 10.8.
  • 4500 paper jam error

This machine worked well for me over the years. This morning, I tried to print and received the error - paper jam: clear and press OK. I pulled the paper at the back intact. Again, the printer immediately jams now as soon as I hit OK and the paper goes into the machine. If I stop and disconnect as soon as it's on, I get the paper jam error. I inspected inside the machine from the front and the back and see paperless. I had nothing out torn. In addition, the rolls all appear clean and that there are no even dust in the machine. I did the reboot with holding the # and 3 # 6. Whenever I give my language and location, I'm back for the paper jam: clear and press OK. If no document is loaded I still get the error if it is busy it gets pulled into a time jams. Removed the back stuck pages have 3 reels as dashes on any page about 2 inches down. I read like 45 Messages other users. Is there anything else I can try or should I start shopping?

If you get the error message of paper jam and have even done the reset, nothing helps, the only other suggestion is to remove the ink cartridges and do a hard reset (remove the power cord at the back of the printer, while it is running and then plug it ten seconds later come back in).  While the ink is out, take a flashlight and look carefully where the ink goes.  I saw jams of real transportation continues to display the error message of paper jam.

When you turn back on the printer by plugging the power cord in back in, look at transport, make sure that it moves freely.

It is probably a machine off the power to the next level and can be more effort it is worth to take apart and find the exact speed the cause.  I'm sorry you're having this problem, but you have certainly confirmed that you did all the classic steps to fix this.  I hope this helps you.

  • The J6480 paper jam error message will not reset

I have a sinus J6480 2009 and it's been great!  -After printing 1 doc a transport jam has occurred.  After clearing the jam in the printer cartridge holder, I turned everything back on and a paper jam error message appeared.  I did everything - check all patterns, clean the rollers, unplugged and checked the duplexer - always error message.  Is there a way to reset this?

    Can someone help me please!

    Thank you!

  • HP 401n false paper jam error

I have a HP Laserjet M401N printer that displays the error "Paper jam" on my default printer but the paper path is clear and verified with multiple eyes, the printer LCD is 'ready' and I can print the pages from the printer config and the printer web interface, but not through the properties of printer or any test page box I have send.

On our print server, the printer is also referred to as "paper jam", and I don't see a way to clear the error message.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks Dave,.

We could always connect to the printers web interface and even print pages of config here and in the reports menu on the printer itself.  Yesterday afternoon, after I posted I have updated the firmware of printers that does not seem to help, and then after I did a factory reset which does not solve the problem BUT, five minutes later, the error of jam allowed in the queue of the network printers and it has been fine since.  You wonder now if a dns flush and register on our print server would have also worked.

    But I'm ready, thank you!

Package not supported means usually you have the firmware for another model, or possibly a corrupted download.
