HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909 all: sorftware HP installation program will not stop running

I recently uninstalled the software and drivers for my printer as suggested here.  I installed the drivers and software the latest complete features of the HP customer service.  Now the program will not stop running even after it has completely installed. The disc in the picture will not stop running and the window does not close.

Hey @David146,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have some problems with the judgment of some installation of HP software to run on your PC of Windows 10. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. On your PC, press CTRL, ALT and DEL keys at the same time.
  2. Click Start Task Manager.
  3. Select the HP software from the list.
  4. Click end task.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are unable to resolve your problem, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

I used to do that through the HP Solution Center, but this doesn't seem to work. His charges and must charge bar but just Flash when you click it. I ran all online and diagnostics Windows, uninstalled and reinstalled on HP website and downloaded new drivers. It still does not work. Windows tells me that all drivers are up-to-date. • HP Solution Center is no longer installed for OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909

    Hi all

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909 running on a PC with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

I can't pinpont when the problem started, but I think it's after a Windows Update.

For some reason any printer stopped working all together. I downloaded the drivers for the device (OJP8500vA909_Basic_14) and installed them. The printer works now, but the HP Solution Center is no longer on my computer.

The installation disc for the printer will not work. He said that "the operating system on this computer is not supported. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved. "I guess it's because the computer is much newer than the printer, but I'm not sure.

Can someone help me install the HP solution on my computer center?

    Thank you!

    Hello!

You can download the software from our Web site. The software that contains the center of solution would be the full feature software and driver.

Uninstall the base driver that you have installed and install the drivers you want to download.

    Thank you.

  • Printing DCP color red problem - HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All - in - One Printer, the 4th copy

I have a HP HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless all-in-One Printer and try to print 75 copies of a program for our event. After the first 5-6 pages the RED in my program starts to turn magenta. I have new HP ink cartridges and print on HP Color Injet paper. I have renectly replaced the Black/Yellow Printhead (at least 6 months ago). At the beginning when I cleaned the printheads, I was able to print 2 or 3 pages showing my color RED. Then back to magenta. When I received the images of test after you have cleaned the print heads, they are all perfect, no lines.

What happens and how can I solve this problem?

    Hi TM1997,

    Thanks for the reply!

Given that the printer seems to work for a bit and then comes back to the same question, it must be a problem with the printhead (Cyan/Magenta one) or the ink lines that go from the cartridges to print heads. First of all, I would suggest that you check the warranty date on your printhead C/M. If it is under warranty contact HP Technical Support in your area and inquire about a replacement, but if not, it's you if you want to replace the print head, printer service, or look into an upgrade.

    Have a great weekend!

  • Sending faxes/install of the HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless all-in-One

I'm on a po to buy this printer but have a question that I can't find an answer for without having to buy the printer. I have no Modem built into my PC.

    I am wanting to know:

What I have a fax modem from my PC

An external USB Modem will work

To really stretch the question, how the external modem will connect to the all-in-one

The all-in-one has a fax for stand-alone fax functionality.

If anyone knows these answers I would appreciate a response. HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless all-in-one is on currently on sale $ 150 off and I would like to grab one before the end of the sale.

    Thank you very much

  • How can I recover the files and programs before a system restore? my document folders are all empty and my programs will not open!

How can I recover the files and programs before a system restore?  my document folders are all empty and my programs will not open!

I know they are there and hidden somewhere, but this restoration took my settings of the computer to 2004! We lost all our data, our software that we use to operate our company at home, our quickbooks that has all our financial data, family photos, videos, Outlook will work not so no e-mail, all turned in time and 6 years ' worth of documents have disappeared.

What happeneded was that I was trying to upgrade to quickbooks software when I got an error, I cancelled out of the facility, then restarted and that's when I got an error hal.dll something? I thought about a system restore would allow me to go back in time to just before when the error occurred, but he basically took my computer back to factory settings, so all the programs that I installed and paid hundreds of dollars for the past six years has disappeared, Microsoft Office and very expensive construction estimating software that we wil have to pay once AGAIN for If I can't get this program working properly.

    I am a fool! I can't believe what's happening.

Someone at - it instructions on how I can retrieve either the programs and data that I need specifically or how to go and seek shade from the files I read online on and restore my computer for about 12 hours ago?

    Thank you all!

    Sally in Georgia

Looks like you did a system rather than a system restore recovery.  If you have inserted a disc supplied with your machine and booted from it, you probably erased the disc and installed the original operating system provided with your computer.  Usually, a step in this recovery is to do a full format or quick of your drive.  If you did a full format, your data is permanently lost.  With a quick format, your data may still be there, somewhere but inaccessible by normal means.  Applications must generally be installed, in order to recover the files probably will not help unless you have the original installation media.  Your other data files (images, videos, financial data) may be salvageable, but at this point, it would be advisable to take your computer or your disk to a business/professional who is experienced with data disc recovery.  It will be cheap and there is no guarantee.

Impatient, remember investigate you a backup strategy for your computer and critical data.  Hard drives can go wrong with little or no warning.

  • OfficeJet pro 8500: is my officejet pro 8500 store all scanned or copied information

My Officejet pro 8500 dead.  Are there personal information stored in the printer I need to erase or destroy before recycling the machine?

@No3putt, welcome to the Forums of HP,

The printer may have stored recent incoming faxes in memory. You can restore the printer back to factory settings to delete all information.

    • Select the configuration Menu, tools, restore the settings by default, Yes.

That should erase any information that you entered in the unit and you should be good to recycle!

I hope this information helps you! If you want to thank me for my answer today, click on the below!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 has 910 a, Vista 32-bit, does not connect via the usb port on my PC!

I used to have it all in one connected to my pc, until I lived some printing problems, so I decided to uninstall it!  When I tried to reinstall, the pc will not connect it.  I tried different ports and have replaced the cable, have also downloaded the latest software and drivers all to nothing does not.  I can connect wireless to my laptop, but unfortunately is not a solution for my office because it is not wireless, so it must be connected via USB.  At my wit's end, please help me!

    Hello

Can you try to insert a flash drive into one of the USB ports on the printer, to make sure she reads it?

The printer port may be what gives you the question. In addition, you can try the USB printer connected to another PC?

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a909: scanning will stop in the middle of a scan

Usually, my printer scans well enough. However, if I have a large document, the analysis stops suddenly and place comes a notice telling me that there was a failure of communication between computer and printer. I did all the usual things - off and unplugged the printer, restarted the computer, let the HP Scan and print doctor loose on it, all to nothing does not.  Very irritating.

P.S. even more unbearable - when I try to update the software, it tells me that there is no connection to the printer - even when there isn't and I can print! The temptation to throw it out the window becomes overwhelming.

OK, it seems that we are in business. HP Deutschland comes back to me and suggested that the problem might be communications - was my USB connection via a superspeed USB? If that were the case (and it is), my ancient printer, designed to deal with digital technology, no other progress that smoke signals, might not be able to cope with such a USB port. I could try a non SS USB? I did - and it seems to work. It also suggested that these printers are designed really to digitize approximately 50 pages at a time, and that I should limit myself to that.

Then, when we were all set up, being the sadistic delirium I am, I caught a huge WAD of paper and fed through the scanner. It turned to be 79 pages - and it worked perfectly. If we continue in this happy state of scarmony now remains to be seen, but for now, we are fine.

Furthermore, your proposed application requires Windows 10, and I'm not ready to go again with my main computer. I want to try on the laptop first.

    Best regards and thanks again
