HP Pavilion Notebook - 15_p151: Wi - Fi adapter, not recognized in Device Manager

Earlier, the laptop was to have very well internet, but after installing a new driver for the Realtek RTL8188EE b/g/n, the adapter has stopped working. Currently, the Device Manager even if hidden devices are displayed in the wi - fi adapter is not demonstrated. If someone can help me as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: After some time, the network has been shown in other devices and now appears under network with an exclamation point cards; When I look at the properties, it says "this device cannot start. (Code 10) This device does not exist. "Looking at my drivers, the current version number is"2012.14.417.2014 ".

EDIT 2: after the reset, the wireless driver currently said to work by the Device Manager. After a few minutes, the wi - fi adapter ("of which there are two adapter Wi - Fi Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 b/g/n and Wi - Fi 802.11 RTL8188EE Realtek adapter b/g/n #2 both give")

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To resolve this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer. »

Interesting...

See if this just driver installation replaces the existing one.

You can also try other revisions of the pilot by clicking the history tab of revision on the driver page.

If it does not, unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

  • Pavilion Slimline s5-1020: DVD drive not recognized in Device Manager

My rarely used DVD player no longer works. Here are the things I have seen/made:
-J' updated to Windows 10. It may or may not have stopped working before the update.
-I update Windows automatically, and everything seems to be in order there.
-The DVD seems to be operational, insofar as you can hear it turn when a disc is inserted.
-Setup recognizes, and it is enabled; It is not at all in Device Manager or in the file Explorer.
Based on the things I've tried, there are indications that it may be either a hardware or a software problem (or both?):

    SOFTWARE PROBLEM?
I followed these as much as possible:
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03370738#c03370738_NoDriveWin8
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03370738#c01895589_resetpower
    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-CD-DVD-read-only/read-this-for-CD-DVD-drive-with-burning-Missin...

    -I got disconnected/reconnected the drive.
-J' tried various DVD I knew to do.
-I don't have to update the BIOS, given warnings.
    - Nor did I mess with registry filters.
-J' tried to find a Microsoft Fixit solution, but the one referenced somewhere in these pages don't apply to this OS - I think it was for Win 7.  I tried MS Control Panel convenience stores, but none of them worked.
So I can't say whether or not it is a software problem.

    HARDWARE PROBLEM?
-J' have set the boot on the CD order in configuration and the desktop with Windows 7 HP Pavilion system repair disc - nothing happened, he went straight to the HD (even if I had turned off).  So that leads me to believe it may be a hardware problem after all.

Do I have other options at this point, except maybe buy another drive?  And in fact if I do, it is possible that one does not work either?

While you are not alone in this problem, here's a thread that deals with her.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-f250: new SSD not recognized, Pavilion 17 AMD drivers

    Hello

I bought the laptop (HP Pavilion Notebook 17-f250) on September 2015 and this September 2016, I decided to upgrade with a 2nd SSD.

I bought a caddy, placed my SAMSUNG EVO 850 PRO inside, removed the optical drive and then place the CART inside the laptop. It fit perfectly, no problem there.

But Windows does not recognize it at all in MANAGEMENT OF DISKS.

It is not here in order to format it, etc...

My IDE/SATA appears as "AMD SATA CONTROLLER".

I can not find anywhere no possibility of enablev AHCI etc... My BIOS is not an option to check if the AHCI drivers are enabled or not.

With the AUTOMATIC DETECTION is my driver: AMD APU A4-6210 with graphics AMD RADEON R3.

My operating system is WINDOWS 10.

FYI, I bought another same SSD for my office and worked smoothly. I only have a problem with my laptop, and I can't figure out how to recognize the Windows SSD!

    BR,

    Dionisis

What caddy you bought? There are a lot of these on the market and some are not made with the highest quality control. You may have it tested with another hard drive?

Second, the interface for the optical drive is SATA which is ahci. The drivers are not the issue.

Finally, put an SSD in an optical drive is a little excessive spending from one optical drive interface is slower, so the speed of SSDS is wasted. It would be much better to put a regular hard drive large, slow in the optical Bay for storage. Having an SSD in there won't be fast in all directions. Also, a disc in an optical Bay will not be initiated.

  • HARD drive internal not recognized by Device Manager.

I've been trolling these forums for the last few days in search of some answers, but nothing seems to get close to my problem.

First basic info. Dell Inspirion D630 laptop computer Windows XP Prof SP3. Hardware config: 120 GB drive HARD internal, DVD player, 2 GB of memory. Pretty basic configuration. No hardware changes have been made.

Here's the senerio problem. Notebook PC starts without any problems, but while XP is loading all the services I get error that meet "Generic Host Process for Win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close...". ', the error msg and the laptop is pretty useless at the moment (explorer, Task Manager, etc.) does not run. I then close the laptop and can start in "safe mode", but pass messages "the instruction at 001ba6ae tried to access memory at the location 000000, the memory could not be written" every few minutes. But I can access Explorer, Task Manager, etc.. Thought may have viruses or malicious and software ran Mcafee several times and came back clean everytime. Could not MalwareBytes to run, but was able to run GMER (it was suggested on the forums). There is no report on any specific malware, but it showed that several sectors on the HARD disk showed malware like behavior. But he also showed that he could not detect the hard drive (showed the HKLM...\CurrentControlSet\ info for the reader, he tried to find). So long story even longer, made a few inquiries via these forums as determined as SVCHOST. EXE was not while trying to run "winmgmt. Also discovered was that the Device Manager and Storage Manager does not show the Hard Drive AT ALL. They do not show the DVD player and if I install a USB they show, but they show that the Disk 0 in the lists. (If installed USB watch drive 0, another DVD wise shows disk 0). If I open Windows Explorer, it shows the drive c: hard, I can access all the files on the disk without problem. If I show the 'properties' for the reader, it indicates the correct used/unused space for the reader. If I click on the "Hardware" tab, the only one listed is the DVD player.

So I know a bit what is the problem, I just do not know what to do to FIX IT. other that my last resort resort which would be to do a full clean install of windows. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the long winded question, but I wanted to provide as much information as possible.

  • USB stick not recognized by Device Manager

I have a USB drive which worked in my Vista SP2 machine for 2 years until I took it.  I tried to run recently.  Even if the machine recognizes the connection and the removal of the disc with the bong audio, it does not appear in my computer, in the Manager device (like a USB Mass Storage Device - hidden or otherwise) or in the management of Computer Management(for doing fdisk/format functions) disk.   When I insert or remove the disc, the lists of USB in Device Manager do not seem to change.

I tried to delete infcache.1, but in vain.

The player with the same cables and the power supply, is recoqnized and works with other systems my Vista SP2 and SP3 of XP so I can exclude it as does not.

Dig dig into that.  The pilots were to be reloaded, I noticed there is a USB 2.0 mass storage device listed while Vista searched through the database driver.  As soon as it is loaded, the name was changed to Cypress AT2LP (chip Cypress is the controller of housing) and the drive has disappeared.  Did a search for this and it seems that it is a problem running under Vista (drive works forever and then one day things change after an update to Vista).  Rename the driver (CYUSB.sys) and then reboot didn't help.

I took the car to the most recent machine Vista and noted that the pilot has been there for a (USBSTOR Generic USB mass storage device. (SYS).  The drive works now.   Not sure where this storage of Cypress driver came (I certainly didn't not using it), but that was the problem.

  • Network controller not recognized by Device Manager

Device Manager cannot recognize my Dell Inspiron 15 network controller. It is marked as an unknown device.

Can someone please direct me as to where I could download the driver network controller, if indeed that is what is needed for the Device Manager to recognize the network controller.

My Dell is unable to locate any available internet connection and I think it has to do with the network being not recognized controller

    Thanks in advance.

Have you also selected the right operating system before downloading all the drivers from there?

  • Satellite C650 - USB ports not recognized in Device Manager

When I turned off my cell phone, I lose the use of my two USB ports. The only way I can get back them is to use Device Manager

Go into the Manager of peripheral devices, Bus USB controllers, there are 6 x Intel ICH9 Family USB Universal Host controller 2 x Intel ICH9 Family USB2 Enhanced Host Controllers and 7 x USB hub root. When I lose the USB ports, USB root hubs seem to disappear, and the only way I can get back them is to uninstall the controllers and then right-click Universal Serial Bus Conrollers for "scan for changes on the hardware. This brings back the root hubs and USB ports work fine... until the computer turns off again.

Someone at - he encountered this problem and managed to resolve it? Its a hassle to have to go through the uninstall it / Reinstall procedure each time. Your advice will be appreciated.

    Hey Buddy,

You use the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba or did you install your own version? I don't see any information about the BONES in your ad...
Theoretically, it could be a software problem so ports USB work correctly if they recognized in Device Manager

You should also try to update the Web from Toshiba site chipset driver. Maybe it helps.
Otherwise, I could imagine that the update of the BIOS can also operate and this update you can get on the Web from Toshiba site too.

Original title: undetected sd eject not

I have a HP Pavilion notebook. My system does not detect my sd card and I can't eject. Help?

From my understanding, most laptops allow you to simply remove the SD card back.  Others have a simple spring mechanism that requires you to press the memory card slightly until you hear a "click", similar to a click on a retractable pen, which must eject the card.

  • HP Pavilion DV7 i7-3630-DVD/BluRay not recognized

Not appearing is not in the Device Manager.  Put a CD DVD or BluRay, it runs but nothing. CyberLink said no current dvd,

    No errors in Device Manager.

Have tried the fixit/windows error detection programs.

Laptop is a week old.  Help?

Well, problem solved.  This is my speculation regarding how/why:

Some how / way the default package is missing the driver and somehow, it causes the reader is not to detect.

Reset to the factory settings means that the drive is still "missing".

After a reset, I noticed that a Windows Update was the installation (to the start screen).  Suddenly the reader was there for the first time ever after this laptop for a month.

He then disappeared a few hours later and I did a reboot and a Windows Update has downloaded and installed on the start screen.  Drive was back and, fingers crossed, has been back since then.

I can only assume for soe reason there's a strange loophole where these downloaded but not yet installed the drive to become disabeled cause updates.

  • Webcam does not appear in Device Manager

I have a model of portable pavilion G62-233NR windows 7 64-bit, with a built-in webcam.  YouC'm software was bundled with it and worked.  Now the webcam is not found by one of the video programs AE Skype, Youcam... etc...

I also noticed that the webcam does not appear in Device Manager. I tell me that I have to reinstall a driver for it but do not know what driver to install. HP has the following availble drivers for my model but which?  If one of the pilots was labeled "webcam", the task would be easy. I hope because the driver is missing in Device Manager that has installed a driver will set missing cam... I'm worried because I don't see a driver named "webcam" in the list... but what else could the problem, how can I get the driver installed, if that's the problem.

  • Satellite A500-17 x - wifi does not work - not found in Device Manager

    Hi people,

    I need help please.

My wireless adapter does not work.
It worked perfectly until I connected to a wired connection in a hotel I was staying in and since then I can not connect to my wireless router.

I tried restoring the tosystem several times to old dates, but it has not solved the problem. When I restart the computer laptop and go into devices and printers, I thought that the computer needs to be troubleshooted.

The program runs and try to install the driver for the Wlan but returns with errors. Namely, windows could not load the driver or can verify the digital signature.

There is also no icon in the network for lan wlan connections only. When I use the radar in connectivity doctor tells me that the WiFi network is disabled but I can't understand how to activate it.

When I start in safe mode and go to Device Manager I see the wireless network adapter, but when I try to install the driver I leave safe mode and restart. I did and then the WiFi network is displayed in the Device Manager but when I try to load the driver, I thought that the driver is updated and then the adapter disappears from the Device Manager.

I'm so frustrated at this point and I'm very close to a full erase and start over.

I also tried to reload and load the default configuration settings in the installation program, but didn't make any difference.

    My laptop is a Satellite A500-17 x with windows 7 64 bit.
The WiFi network is Realtek RTL8192E Wireless Lan 802.11 PCI - ENIC

    Hello

Go to BIOS (press F2) and set it to default settings.
Save the changes and restart the device.
Then try to reinstall the WLan driver again.

If that does not help, download the most recent and updated BIOS to BIOS first day.
Then, restart the device and try reinstalling the Wlan driver.

Last but not least you could test the WLan feature on laptop running with factory settings current (after using the Toshiba Recovery)

PS: in order to use the WiFi network you must use the FN + F8 key combination and must turn on the WLan (in front of the laptop) switch to position.

    Hello peppy

If the sound card is not listed in Device Manager, the explanation is very simple. The card its doesn't exist for the operating system. Either card defective or not connected properly.

Contact the Service partner and let check the device. Sorry, but in this case I put t see another solution.
