  Please provide the full error message.  Also, make sure that you typed correctly - are you sure that the CLSID does not stop with "46" rather than simply "6"?

  • Make sure that you install the printer by using a user account with "computer administrator" privileges (if you are not sure, click Start > Control Panel > accounts of users, under the name of each account will be "Computer administrator" or "Limited account").

  A few years ago I bought a HP 5510 Photosmart B series printer and everything seemed to go well until last year.

  I had to replace a black cartridge, so we bought a set of cartridges HP, and I adapted the black one as requested.

  The machine then told me that another color necessary evolution, so I did, and ended up changing all the colors that seemed strange.

  I then had a series of flaws, saying that the cartridges were defective, or they were empty. However after have released them several times and replacing the fault corrected its self.

  This then breed arpound 6 months later, but it corrects itsself finally.

  Today, I bought a new set of cartridges, as the printer says that I needed Blak again. I had exactly the same faults, and no matter what I faults will not disappear.

  Its saying that one or more of the cartridges appear to be missing or damaged. Install or replace the affected cartridges.

  Whenever I refill the cartridges, its indicators until a different color that needs to be replaced

  I admit it's now me depressed, and these cartridges are not exactly cheap to replace

  I have a HP Photosmart C4500 series and it is not printing to fit the entire page. The page is reduced in size (from about a third of the page) and some words are cut off. This only happens when I print a Web page. The print preview shows she will be printed to fit the page, but it never does. I use a Macbook Pro and I print wireless.   1. Reset the printing system. OS X Mavericks: reset the printing system.
  2. Verify and repair disk permissions. 12.x disk utility: repair disk permissions.

  I use the Hp Photosmart 5510 series printer and is faced with a problem where I can not scan from the printer to the laptop.   I wanted to answer your question to have the printer connect and work on your network wireless 'new '. I think that if you uninstall the printer and reinstall the printer software and continue through to set up the printer on your network, it should work for you.

  Here are the steps for you.

  1 uninstall the printer software, and then restart your PC.

  2. click on this link, select Windows 7 and follow all the steps to install and reconnect the printer: HP Photosmart 5510 and 7510 printers - setting upwards to a wireless network

  Test print and scan and let me know what happens! I hope that does the trick

I downloaded the drivers, which I've done it before several times, but the printer will not work correctly.   I did some research on the problem of another user, and looks like it's just a ghost update.  Basically, an update 'ghost' is an update that was for the device, but unit has newer drivers which causes the update failing to keep.  The only thing you can do is to hide the update, or ignore it.  Windows will continue to try to push it, but your printer does not need it.  If she didn't need the update, it would install right.  You can find the thread where I helped another user below.  I hope this helps.

  Unfortunately, there is not a firmware update to enable your printer for AirPrint. You could try the HP ePrint App for the iPad/iPhone.

  Please select your printer and win 10 OS before you download and install the FULL features software.

  Once you have downloaded and installed the software, FULL of features, you will be able to print and scan.

• Do not print to the printer HP Photosmart 8200 series

  My HP Photosmart 8230 printer will not print. I used it very satisfatorially for 7 years. Recently, I had the same problem and after trying many suggestions of help without success subsequently discovered the problem was simply caused by a tick against printing offline in the box the printer queue. Again, I found printing enabled offline several times (not all) but remove the tick now does not correct the problem.

  I use Windows 7. HP Photosmart 8200 Series box shows the queue of work of printing normally, but with the error - printing under the State next to a print job. What is the error?

  Main menu > tools > print sample page the printer produces a normal sample of page indicating any fault in the printer.

  Seems that the problem is a lack of connection between my PC and the printer such as would be caused by the activation of printing offline in Windows 7 but not corrected by removing the tick as descrobed above.

  Any help would be welcome.

  Hello

  From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

  Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

  My photosmart 7400 series sends a blank page between each printed page.  The driver that came on the CD with the printer is not compatible with Windows 7.  It worked fine, but the driver supplied with Windows 7 is the problem.
