    What can I do?

    Hello:

You will probably need to manually install the driver.

I know that is the one you need, because if you look at the contents of the driver file folder you can see that this driver has support for the hardware ID you have posted.

    [AMDIOV. NTamd64]
    % IOMMU. DeviceDesc%=NULL_DRIVER,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_5A23
    % IOMMU. DeviceDesc%=NULL_DRIVER,PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_1419
    % IOMMU. DeviceDesc%=NULL_DRIVER,PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_1577

    % IOMMU. DeviceDesc%=NULL_DRIVER,PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_1449
    % IOMMU. DeviceDesc%=NULL_DRIVER,PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_1611

Sometimes the automatic installer does not install the driver, so you must outwit the PC.

Go to Device Manager and click on the device IOMMU requiring the driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp67924.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

    Restart the PC.

  • upgrade for HP probook 455 laptop screen full HD

    and I read this link:

I want to know if other hp LCDs or other brands can be used? Help me if you know the full hd or hd + lcd model.
in fact, I am not satisfied with contrast of 455

    Yes and no.

Not as long as the computer and the components are designed to best suite with eachother. So manufacturers will not support using incompatible parts if custamization is accepted.

Yes because there are technicians who can mix and match components but the combination must look and regular maintenance. I would not advise this as it can be found in failutes and questions.

Workaround would be to buy a monitor (ecternal) HD and plug it in. There are n number of options in the HD monitor of your choice.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

From your description, it seems that, after you have installed the correct video driver for your ProBook (15.201.1301) AMD, Windows Update is then by installing a different driver on top of that, right version?

If this is the case, you must follow these instructions to STOP Windows update update drivers: how stop Windows 10 to update automatically the device drivers - windows Windows 10-10

Once you do this, you should not see updates to the pilot after that.

    Good luck

Remove the HARD drive and put temporarily in a desktop computer to clone it will not violate the warranty.

Another method is to use a software product by one of the few companies to achieve. The Paragon Software makes software called Backup & Recovery 15 House. He will do exactly what you ask in your thread ann drive external hard usb.

There are also free available software products that will do the same thing but not as reliabkly as a paid version of cloning.

  • ProBook 640 G1: Hp Probook 640 G1 no fingerprint reader?

I bought a used HP laptop... I installed Windows Home edition 8.1, and the fingerprint reader does not work. I tried driver install synaptic and the driver of the validity, but does not work. . I got the attention that perhaps tis probook does not have a Fingeprint reader? I could not find in the BIOS and nowhere... (neiher in Device Manager). Maybe I don't have a fingperprint player? I have attached an image, I have this, but it seems that it is not the drive... What do you think?

    @jack298

    Sad news, Jack.

The small covered rectangle indicates where a fingerprint reader would be located if the drive has been installed at the hardware level.

  • HP Probook 450 G2: Impossible to use the HP Probook 450 G2 of fingerprints

I bought a HP Probook 450 G2 with the free dos version yesterday. I installed windows pro 8.1 on it successfully with all the drivers of HP on the site. But apparently, HP drivers for my probook web page don't offer me with the software "simplepass" for the finger print function. So, I downloaded it from a third party Web page. I checked from the BIOS and the fingerprint is activated, I also installed the validity sensor driver and whatever it is I just don't get any option 'fingerprint' on the program (Simplepass), what they show is 'Pass pine or CHARACTER' and nothing else. Similarly, the option "SIGN IN" from the windows, they show no fingerprints for security options. All my drivers are up to date.  Validity sensor driver is 4.5.133.0, SimplePass is 2015. I'm starting to give up because I googled as much I could and tried all the safest approach, still does not work. Help someone?

    Thank you in advance.

  • ProBook 455 G1: Replacement AMD A4 4300 m with something faster

    Good evening everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to replace AMD A4 4300 m with something more powerful and if so, what would be the fastest CPU compatible.
Have not tried if my A4 is welded, it is still under warranty for 2 more months.

    Some of my ProBook features:
motherboard: 194th HP  (requested by aida64)
    CPU: AMD A4 4300 m (http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-A4-Series%20A4-4300M.html)
               Socket FS1 (FS1r2)
Graphics: ATI HD8750m 2 GB with dedicated dual graphics card
    RAM: 4 GB

I was thinking something like this: AMD A10 5750 m

    It has the same FS1r2.

There was a G1 455 ProBook with this particular A10 and dedicated graphics card, I have, but I have not found the name of motherboards...

I thank very you much for all the simple tips and information.

It's the top processor of the page:

    AMD A8 - 5550M, 35W, Quad Cores, 3.1 GHz/2.1 GHz 4 MB L2 cache/NVS 8550 G

    Here is the Manual:

    Manual

See p. 81 for the replacement of the processor. Your AMD integrated graphics will 7420G to 8550G and switchable dedicated video chip will remain the same. The A10 - 5750M has the same socket and it MIGHT work, but we can't really say. We know that the APU types listed in manual work will BE for you.

Before I did the upgrade of the processor that I might consider 8 GB of RAM and an SSD, while AMD processors tend to be a fairly reasonable price compared to Intel.

    Hello

I'm computer fixing of my mother-in-law. The problem is the following: once installed it updates and phone rebooted it couldn't connect because the screen started to Flash (i.e. turning black and then show the new login screen). I start the computer in safe mode and loaded the last restore point. However, now I am unable to connect because once I selected (only one available) account in the login screen is shown a different login screen. "Another user" text ("Korean kayttaja" in Finnish) is on the logo and message 'check' password ("Tarkista salasana" in Finnish) under him. Below are the fields id and user password. ID field is prepopulated with his user name. After I typed his password a "invalid pointer" error ("Osoitin ei kelpaa" in Finnish) is shown.  Therefore, I can only connect in safe mode.

I checked the most recent restore points and seems that there are a lot of updates until the original flashing problem has occurred. I tried to restore but restore points not chance.

I found this solution while Googling autour:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-Security/Windows-7-logon-issue-with-message-invalid-pointer/7ff7277f-D940-4761-9268-3115c424159c

    ' 1) safe boot mode.

    (2) run MSConfig

    (3) select the Diagnostic startup option on the general tab

    restarting...

you will get a "generic" windows login screen and be able to get your desktop... but almost all the services will be disabled and stopped, so will not work

    (4) open Services.msc, find and double-click the Windows Installer, manual exchange service and run...

(this will allow you to uninstall programs)

    (5) Control Panel, programs and features

    (6) uninstall the HP software: file sanitizer, drive encryption, Manager access of devices and finally Client Security Manager (it is the security that must be uninstalled, but others must be removed first) - I chose the option "do not save stored configurations" (because I believe this is what is actually prescription foo ("pointers" between user names) passwords and settings stored fingerprints database)).

    (7) MSConfig again, change the Normal start".

(EDITED ON10.9.2015. Thanks rcoffey69 for the tip!)

If you cannot remove the Manager of HP devices access to step 6:

    7) go to control panel > remove programs and instead of delete access Device Manager, choose 'repair '.

    (8) restart and go into safe mode.

    (9) run MSConfig and change Normal startup, restart.

    (10) connection to normal mode and now you should be able to remove the HP device access Manager, restart.

    (11) remove Client Security Manager, choose 'do not save stored configurations', restart.

Now everything should work ok again.  Don't panic if you see errors when trying to log on after step 10. You should still be able to connect. In fact, you might be able to uninstall HP device manager access (+ Manager client security) right after step 7 without the need to reboot in normal mode (?) I did not try it.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    (Former message):

However, I can not remove the HP device access Manager because it displays an error message (translated version): "1720 error: there is a problem with the Windows Installer package." This is why I can't delete the client security manager that is probably causing this problem.  I tried to remove it by using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, but it did not help. Anyone know how to get rid of HP Device Access Manager so that I can remove HP Client Manager Security? )
