  If you have a removable battery, take the battery of your laptop. While the battery is out, please use the adapter and see if the laptop boots.

  Have you tried to clean up all the vents in Notepad?

  Don't you hear the fan running when you press the power button on the laptop? If this isn't the case, please follow the steps described in the section of the computer receives no power (no noise or lights) .

  Have you tried perform a hard reset?

  What was the error message you received?

  You have all the codes beep or flashing of the lights on the laptop?

  Did you do a BIOS reset?

  I built an OSMF player that allows users to get to where they were during the recovery, but also to rub at the beginning.

  FOR EXAMPLE:

  A flow is 1 minute.

  The user starts playing in 25 seconds.

  The user can rub-5 seconds or transmit to 55 seconds.

  It works perfectly with RTMP - TimeTrait reports correctly and video is displayed correctly.

  FOR EXAMPLE:

  Start at 25 seconds, TimeTrait reports: duration = 60, current position = 25 and video display is 25.

  Seek to rewinds 5 seconds to the current duration = 60, position = 5, video display is 5.

  But...

  With the HTTP stream...

  Start at 25 seconds. TimeTrait reports: duration = 60, current position = 25 and video display is 50.

  Search rewinds 5 seconds before the beginning of the stream and give me a media full... end of the stream.

  Start at 30 seconds, TimeTrait reports length = 60, current position = 30 and the video display is 60 Yes give me a media full... end of the stream.

  It is quite clear that what is happening is that search HTTP stream reset my starting index to the point of looking as if I had started to play with:

  NetStream.play (seekPoint);

  Rather than:

  NetStream.play();

  NetStream.seek (seekPoint);

  This, I hasten to add, is a terrible problem from the point of view of my client because it means actually I can't resume content.

  After digging in OSMF code I found a SOLUTION:

  First of all, make sure you have the latest OSMF source inside your project.

  For now it is 2.0.71 (org.osmf.utils.Version).

  Go to org.osmf.net.httpstreaming.HTTPNetStream

  and make a few changes:

  1 change the line # 1441

  _initialTime = _dvrInfo! = null? _dvrInfo.StartTime: currentTime;

  TO
  

  _initialTime = _dvrInfo! = null? _dvrInfo.StartTime: (_seekTime > 0? _playStart: currentTime);

  Now you can listen to MediaPlayerCapabilityChangeEvent.CAN_SEEK_CHANGE event

• Funky problem continuously with a specific application

  This problem could be related to how this app was designed, but I thought someone here might know a hardware fix. Streaming of any application to airports is easy-peasy, but this particular application of the Apple TV streaming is a real struggle - but only about half the time.

  I use the NPR News app on my 5th Gen iPod Touch (iOS 9.3.2) to broadcast local and national programming to my two Airport Express base stations and the 3rd Gen Apple TV connected to my TV external speakers. Here's what happens:

  When it works, I go to the application, select the Apple TV in Airplay, a small rectangle in the bottom left of the TV attached with the name of the application, the screen turns off, a loading circle appears and the stream plays with a TV screen.

  When it does not work, I start the application, select Apple TV Airplay, the small rectangle with the name of the application appears for a second or two, the TV display goes back to the home screen of the Apple TV and streaming does not start when I repeatedly go to other applications and back or change the speakers. Finally, after a lot of switching autour, Airplay gives me two additional choices that do not appear when I'm streaming any another application: 'Apple TV' so that the Apple TV 3 with a mirrored rocker, and/or Apple TV 4 with a toggle.* of mirroring at this time where the flow does not work unless I choose Apple TV 3 or 4 and mirror of the touch screen. Mirroring very well, but when I can't use the key for something else. If I just continue to switch speakers or go to other applications and back, he's finally back to normal, simply stating your Apple TV with no option of mirroring.

• Satellite C850D-11 q Touchpad Auto locking at startup?

  I was watching the Eurovision Song Contest and had to download the so-called Octoshape Streaming Service to watch... everything was going well until it randomly froze and my mouse responds more... some four restarts later and it started to work again... However original ran on every startup and whenever the kicks knocked out inside the mouse.

  To resolve this problem, I turned off the option start start origin and he seemed fine.

• NEITHER USB-8452 - reach the maximum write SPI speed

  I have a USB-8452 with the latest version of the software installed (2.1.2). The host computer is a Core i7. I am trying to achieve the maximum SPI write speed with the camera possible. I tried the basic block read/write SPI, SPI Scripting blocks and SPINNAKER streaming, but the first two have large delays between CS falling and the data being written (with so that delays in loop), and the last seems to be useful only for read operations.

  Can someone tell me if there is a way of a) reduce the time of installation for basic SPI / SPI Scripting or b) writing different values in a single stream of SPI? Thanks in advance for any help on this issue, even if it's just confirmation that yes they is hard limits that cannot be overcome with the LabVIEW 8452 interface at this time.

  Here's the best I can do right now, as shown in my logic analyzer. Change of the SPI clock speed does not affect installation time and delays that are primary and secondary bottlenecks:

  SPI read/write database-

  Program: Basic Configuration followed by read/write of SPI block itself in a while loop

  Main bottleneck: ~ 450 delay us into iterations of the loop (see Figure 2)

  Secondary bottleneck: ~ 6 us delay between falling edge of CS and the first synchronization signal (see Figure 1)

  If you need higher performance, I encourage you to watch using a card R or FlexRIO FPGA series for your implementation.

• Why the following code causes a time-out when you try to read a finite number of samples of the USB-6216?

  I do not have Measurement Studio, but I use the 4 available with DAQmx .NET support.

  The following code throws a timeout when calling ReadMultiSample(). Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I would get 40 000 samples with a sampling rate of 20 kHz. I've renamed by device USB-6216 of 'Meas1' by using MAX.

  I'm building a small DLL (for use from matlab) for acquisition of data. One of the functions may take several hours: streaming over 1 million samples in a file. So for this particular function, I want (read: I'm trying) to run it as a background operation in a separate thread. After reading a quick guide OR the multi-threading I selected the following:

  -Start streaming function

  * start a new async timer, which calls every second ProcessSystemEvents all detached CVI callbacks are executed

  * start the new pool of threads for maximum 1 wire and the highest (but not time critical) priority

  * Schedule streaming function for this pool (once again with a priority higher but non-emergency)

  specification of the cleaning function to be run in the current thread after completing the function continuous

  -reminder async-timer run ProcessSystemEvents every second post CVI callbacks are executed

  -cleaning function

  * Release the function ID from thread pool

  * Throw the thread pool

  * Take async-timer

  -State function which can be used from the main thread (still available at the matlab prompt) to check the status of the streaming

  The beginning of the broadcast (simulated with a countdown of the meter) goes well

  I can retrieve the status that goes from kCmtThreadFunctionExecuting to kCmtThreadFunctionComplete.

  However, the function of cleaning - as specified in the service scheduling - is never started.

  Q1: what did I wrong that prevents the scheduled cleaning?

  Q2: are there different approaches/examples that don't just want I want?

  It seems that the solution is as simple as the cause.

  -J' I create a pool of threads of high priority and program a priority acquisition function. Planning is done with CmtScheduleThreadPoolFunctionAdv. I do not use the option for a reminder at the end of this threadfunction.

  -A second more later (or in the service of acquiring) I schedule a cleaning of normal priority in DEFAULT_THREAD_POOL_HANDLE. Planning is done with CmtScheduleThreadPoolFunction. Inside this function, I wait until the acquisition thread is finished: CmtWaitForThreadPoolFunctionCompletion

  -Because all these functions are to 'demand' the original calling function returns. I get the prompt matlab for other tasks.

  I have to check what expectation-statement requires less processing for example power CmtWaitForThreadPoolFunctionCompletion or delay with the State Audit.

  But I have already seen that this combination:

  -start the acquisition in a high priority thread pool

  -then release the assignment of function and removes the high priority pool

  -During this time I had the back guest matlab and can run another task

• Cast/EMR integration documentation?

  According to the course of 3 days I became the 'expert' DMS in my organization and Tuesday have to go and set up the cast for someone who has 27 4400 DMP (without remote controls - AWESOME), six 2200 DME and 27 1100 DME.  The thing that that concerns me most is the customer willing to listen to a variety of channels to its DirecTV receivers through his 2200 s in a variety of channels set up through cast.  Unless there is a better way to do it.  Is particularly concerned about the fact that it seems the 2200 s have only 2 entries per encoder and those are composite or s-video or SDI (doc Ref here http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/video/ps9339/ps7063/data_sheet_c78-504500.html table 2) Cisco allegedly put the nomenclature together so surely there was a plan.  Given that I've never done an implementation of the large-scale distribution - I have no idea what the plan is / was.

  I understand how to establish a relationship between the DMM and DME (although our DMM is a non - UCS VM installed for training and there is apparently a few problem with MED and the DMM in this scenario - whatever it is, I only know how * theoretically * implemented).

  So my most important question about the melting is - given this equipment list - can someone deboning a SHOT of him?  Important issues are also - suppose that direcTV output is composite or I can modulate - and I use the EZ-stream interface to start encoding the signal in a digital stream - what will happen?  Is the stream should be sent to their Windows 2008r2 server before be mapped as a distribution channel?  I may have been taught - but remember - the EZ-Stream generated can be mapped directly to a distribution channel?  Or when the DME/DMM relationship is created - streams are mapped to group mcast addresses as they seek to push these channels in real time?  So far I found only-sheets techniques, brochures and information products specific configuraiton - no documentation integration.

  The last two concerns I have about the cast are - without a single remote control - I'll need a xml/web page script (installed on an ip phone or a URL) to control the cast function, once the configuration has been pushed to the DMP.  My memory is that Cisco is not a standard: one in the class, we used was absolutely terrible. Can someone point me to a resource like that?

  My last concern is its completely ridiculous regardless of the true answer - the client I install this for is adamant that the DMP is ONLY for digital signage and the 1100 s are for the delivery of its installation of Cast on each site.  Unless I've misunderstood completely the function of the coders or the DMP, this MUST be incorrect.  I am 99.999% certain all 1100 s are capable of encoding is to NOT decode or management of channels or what anyone and I know I pushed the cast configuration, we have in our lab to the DPM - what is my first rodeo - I need to be ABSOLUTELY SURE that there is not some sort of intent here between the 27 encoders and Cast - anyone know?

  DME 2200 will make two channels, the DME 1100 will be 1 channel. In addition, the DPM will not play a live stream WMV - only on videos in one request. WMV format.

  The main purpose of DME is to stream to see the and part NOT signs/Cast.

  You will need other encoders for this. You can watch the most recent acquisition of Cisco (Inlet). They have some very nice encoders. You can also use the scientific atlanta train for this purpose.

  You're right about the encoders - they only encode the stream. They are basically taking a stream video and converted into a format that can be sent to your Ethernet network. It then takes a decoder to convert video for display.

  Regarding the recovery of password, use the PWADMIN account and you can change the password.

  I go back to the Cisco team, and check out what they understand the conditions to be. Cast is perhaps not really the solution they were looking at. Maybe they wanted to video streams on PC and LCD screen just for signalling.

  I have advanced and updated the OS on my ASUS G76VW-DS71 to Windows 8. Everything seems to work fine, except for on the thing:

  None of the applications (Hulu Plus, Netflix, Youtube, TuneIn) continuous flow actually do anything. The apps will turn on and I can select a video, but when I press on play streaming won't start (Netflix get stuck on 97%). I can listen to all the services if I use a web browser but not Windows 8 applications. In addition, the Skype app stops immediately when you try to open it.

  Any ideas is what is the cause and how to fix it?

  The Windows Firewall will allow apps to pass through. I also disabled, but it did not help.

  I solved it!

  It was my video card driver. I have an ATI Radeon HD 4870 and I * was * installed Catalyst Legacy 12.6 of driver for Windows 8. Then I ran the Windows Installer of catalyst 8 version and select uninstall to remove all driver AMD components. Rebooted as directed, and installed a Windows driver. This driver allowed video!

  Then I tried to reinstall the version of Windows 8 of the Catalyst driver - and did not yet reading!

  I'm going to do some further study and update this post.

  The driver that Windows installs that works is "ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)", dated 19/06/2012, version 8.97.10.6.

  The driver provided by the supposed Windows 8 Catalyst driver package is "ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series", dated 07/03/2012, version 8.970.100.3000. For control purposes, I installed just the driver, not the software.

  Immediately after installation (no reboot was required) Netflix then gives an error code that there is a problem with the internet connection. Of course, the internet connection is fine.

  When I reboot, Netflix returns to its State at the death-to - 97%.

  Yes, up to what AMD Gets their act together:

  1. Uninstall your video driver using uninstaller AMD.
  2. Let Windows Installer for you.
  3. If you want other AMD software, run the catalyst on Custom Installer and make sure that the AMD display driver is not selected.
