HP T510 - remove DESKTOP connections the connection with the HP Device Manager Manager remotely

I can manage, deploy, and send registry updated successfully to all HP T510 customers on my network via HPDM.

When deploying a RDP connection is successful, but it added the new connection in the connection list.

I was assuming that other connections would be withdrawn when the deployment of a record of a customer with the correct setting - but the new connection is just added to the existing list of RDP connections and I need to delete the other.

Please could someone advise me how to remove DESKTOP connections remote connection using HPDM Manager screen.

I found it! the option delete isn't available when deploying new connections - it's a checkbox at the bottom of the wizard

The device icon and text missing in the imaging devices Manager

    I'm running MS Vista Ultimate.

The imaging device icon and the wording are missing in Device Manager are missing. A device is listed in the box as installed missing icon.

The other devices in Device Manager normally appear and I can compare what is supposed to be there for another computer running the same version of windows.

However, the device will not work and will not reinstall.

When you try to reinstall the device an error indicates that Setup does not work and to contact the manufacturer of the device.

Yet once, however, this happens when I try to install any imaging device.

I'm unable to locate information about the imaging devices in the registry.

I think that some registry entries are missing.

It is not the missing peripheral individual. This is the section in Device Manager.

    Now follow the following steps:

    1. Save the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package on your computer

    2. right click on the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and run as administrator

    3. follow you prompt in the installation wizard. Once completed the installation, click on the Start button

    4. click on all programs. Click on Windows Install CleanUp Utility.

    5. click on the device driver (if on list) in the list of programs.

    6. click on Remove. Click OK

    7. click exit

Restart the computer for the changes to take effect

Then try to install the device driver and check the result: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Install-a-USB-device

  • Installation of construction LabVIEW application disables the Windows Device Manager? Help on how to diagnose the problem?

Please can anyone shed light on this, or suggest where to look?

I built an application using the Application Builder of LV2014 (32 bit).

On a Win7 X 64 PC at work, it installs and runs ok.

On Win7 X 64 PC at the customer, it installs ok, but then after Windows restarts on demand 'device manager' no longer works and there are some unchangeable registry entries associated with nipalu. The client runs Symantec security software. A client COMPUTER technician is suggesting that LabVIEW is interacting with device drivers and this is the origin of the problem, but we do not know how to go further. It is not really acceptable to deploy computers where the Windows Device Manager no longer works. Surprisingly, the application itself works always - it's just Windows which messed up.

    Thank you

Thanks for the suggestions. The company IT guy has not been able to talk to a person in NI UK support (no one was available), but he managed to keep it down to a problem with Dell Data Protection encryption Enterprise Edition. Delete first, then install the LabVIEW application, then reinsert DDPE gave a system where everything worked.

We have built apps that used progressively more labview drivers (vision, labview base; digital i/o)

  • A Wi - Fi (Wireless LAN) connection is disabled in Device Manager

The laptop is HP Pavilion G4 running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit).

I just re - install my laptop Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) for Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit).

But I just realized that there is no "HP Connection Manager", so I downloaded it from the internet.

When I turned on the wifi of "HP Connection Manager", he says "Wi - Fi (Wireless LAN) is disabled by the Device Manager".

    What should I do next?

    Thank you!

    Hello:

You will probably need to install the driver for the wireless card there.

If you see a device network controller listed in the Manager of devices, then you certainly need to install the driver for the wireless card model that your laptop uses wireless.

  • keep the photos in icloud, but remove them from the iOS device?

Hi, need help to keep my old photos in the cloud, then to remove them from my iphone device. I can also keep on my mac but still once, how can I make sure that when I delete from my iphone I can still access them in the cloud or on my big Mac? My phone is getting to the maximum it can hold up to now need to move them to a storage for later viewing device, editing or other.

    Thank you

You cannot store pictures on iCloud and remove them from your device. Remove them on the phone also icloud removes them. You can set for storage optimized on your device that compresses the resolution of the device stored photos, keep the originals in iCloud.

If you want to be able to todelete pictures from your phone and store them elsewhere, you must use subscription such as Dropbox cloud storage or store them on your computer.

iOS: import personal pictures and videos of iOS devices to your computer

  • Satellite 1100 - DVD disc in the missing device manager

My DVD Rom drive seems to have disappeared from my device manager. System will not read or write any DVD/CD.

How to restore the disc without using the recovery disk? (That won't work because the drive does not work)

    Hello

First of all, you should check if the BIOS can recognize the CD/DVD drive.
If the BIOS does not recognize the drive maybe the pin connection is loose or the disk is damaged.
If you have experience in laptop computers, you can check the connection of the PIN. Try to remove the disc and then start Notepad. After close connect the player again in the Bay and start the unit.

Check again if the drive appears in Device Manager. If he doesn t appear I guess that it s a hardware malfunction, and you need a new.

  • HP Photosmart C4580 all-in-One: the hp Device Manager

I recently moved and wireless printing is no longer available, because I have a new router, etc. I'm trying to go through the steps to get my printer to print wireless again. I started with the (difficult to understand) online books and forums, but I encountered a problem.

A step now asks me to open on my Mac HP Device Manager, but I do not have this program. I guess that it has deleted along the way. Where can I download to continue to implement the capabilities of my wifi printer?

    Thank you!

Now, because of the age of your unit HP Photosmart there is no downloadable HP full feature software or driver for your printer in Mac OS X 10.7. Therefore, you rely on an update from Apple to install printing and scanning of the capabilities of your printer on your Mac. For this reason, you are not able to perform normal wireless setup wireless for your printer configuration is done via the installation package. For this reason, we have two options.

Option 1: Install the printer on a supported operating system and run the wireless installation. Once the wireless feature is successfully configured you simply (+) add your printer to your Mac OS X 10.7 for printing and scanning.
