I cannot print to my photosmart C5280 of my laptop computer on the wireless network

I have a Toshiba L750 running the operating system of Windows 7 32 bit and I am unable to print on my HP Photosmart C5280 printer. The printer is connected to my desktop which works on Windows 7 64 - bit OS with an ethernet cable. The printer works fine from the desktop and the laptop captures the internet wireless via the modem attached to the Office so that the network connection seems to be OK. I am also able to access the shared files on the desktop hard drive of the laptop which again seems to confirm that the network connection is fine. I tried to update the drivers concerned and all seem to be up to date. Previously, I was able to print from the laptop, but for some reason any, that he will no longer work. I have installed the printer software from the original CD supplied with the printer on the laptop to see if that would solve the issue, but nothing helped. I uninstalled from this software. I am at a loss and frustrated. I have also been through the printer Troubleshooter and Microsoft MrFIXIT, to anything will do. Someone out there of the clues as to what could be causing my problem? I might also mention that HP laptop of my son is able to print to this printer without any problems.

Which, in my view, could have gone, it's that you used on your desktop printer sharing to allow other computers on your home network to access. Here's a video of Microsoft on how you can achieve:

Let me know if that solves the problem!

See you soon!

I tried to follow the procedures on the HP Support site and drivers, such as the routine HPHNDU.exe and others, but have had no success.

I'd appreciate the help. My previous post in May has all the answers.

Seems that the fatal error was not fatal as it appeared.

I ran the HPHNDU again in exasperation, and it printed a test page. So, I printed another Notepad document just to be safe, and the printer now prints. There at least one test. It's good, but the scourge caused by the report "fatal error" doesn't exactly inspire confidence in HP Setup.

  • Great printer Officejet 7500 a Format to connect intermittently to the computer via the wireless network

I have a portable printer Officejet 7500 has recently purchased that I would use wireless.  I have an Apple wireless router and am running Windows 7 on my computer.  The printer and computers individually connect to the network, and there is no problem with the router.  The problem is with the connection between the computer and the printer.  I can print things from my computer by sending a file to the printer, but sometimes it works through printing directly from the software.  I tried to scan my computer and the printer, but get the same error at the same time that there is no communication between the printer and the computer.  I suspect that it is a firewall problem, but do not know how to change the settings to allow this communication to occur.  I have the windows firewall and advanced software protective system, but have disabled the windows shield in this software.  Help?

First of all, download and run this utility:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&jumpid=ex_r4155/hho/ipg/ccdoc/printer_diag/&lang=en&softwareitem=oj-106151-2

    What did he say?

Just to be clear, that the 7500 a is connected to the Airport via radio, correct (not USB)?

If so, we will define an external static IP and DNS address for the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 10.0.1.2 a.200.  We use 10.0.1.220 for your printer.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

  • HP Photosmart B109: cannot connect the printer to the wireless network

I have some setting wrong my printer for wireless printing. It has worked well in the past, but with my new macbook air - this isn't.

I can't access the function where to add the printer to the wireless network (my router does not support WPS so his password WPA).

I remember setting this up on a PC - easy with the driver provided by HP, but on the Mac, the configuration tool does not appear to be a function where I add the printer to the wireless network - and HP did not provide a driver, because it is supposed to work with the mac built-in software.

The manual says only: "follow the instructions on the screen", but the printer does not have instructions on how to connect - on-screen tests, only that it is connected...

Anyone who knows how to add the printer to a wireless network?

    Hello @Joahkim!

    Welcome to the HP community!

I understand that you have a problem to set up all-in-one printer wireless HP Photosmart (B109n) with your new MacBook Air OS x 10.10. I want to help you with this.

Have you changed your router or your password since the MacBook Air? If this is not the case, your printer can still be connected to the network and the trickiest part of that place will be done for us already.

We will print a Network Configuration report to see if it is connected:

    • On the Control Panel, press the button next to Scan. The Scan/Wireless menu.
  • 6500 has more: cannot print Surface Pro 3 - a persistent problem that is ALWAYS the case.

3 surface Pro, Windows 10 (64 bit) put in place. I constantly have problems everytime I try to print documents. Print HP says the wireless network window is not connected, but the printer wireless network Test report HP says it's on - GO. The drivers don't need to be updated on the Surface Pro, according to the HP Support Online, so please - HP should have some kind of awareness of it. Cannot access the HP Print and Scan Doctor - the link does not work. Seriously. It is a basic functionality.

Currently I have to spend more than an hour trying different ways to get printing to work, sometimes, it will randomly to print a document and return then to not print. It is not a sustainable situation. I avoid the impression of this set-up as far as possible, that this song and dance is always necessary, but sometimes I can't do it otherwise.

I lost a lot of time on is is no longer viable to use HP printers in my office at home and we...

Way forward please, or I'll be dumping this HP printer and not come back.

The wireless test report will indicate if your printer is connected to the network, you will still need to install the software of the printer in order to print. (your current ability to print can be by pilots In-OS)

  • HP Deskjet 2540: My printer cannot connect to the wireless network (SSID is not found)

    Hello

I have a HP Deskjet 2540 printer that is configured to print using the USB cable, and I have no problem printing through it. I just bought a router (D-link DWR116) and I'm trying to set up the connection to the router wireless to my printer. When I use the printer setup & software and select the option "convert a connected USB printer wireless", I can choose to enter into the setting of the printer access the router automatically or manually. These two will come with the same problem where the program is my name SSID of the router successfully but then failed to connect to what the SSID is not found.

It comes on it comes up with the error message:

Question: You have manually entered the name of the network (SSID) cannot be found.
Solution: Check that your wireless router is powered. When to manually enter the name of your network (SSID), make sure you enter exactly including upper and lower case and spaces.

Which is meaningless because it came with the SSID earlier and I chose what options the wireless network available. I tried to manually enter the SSID, but after entering the password for the router, the same error message appears.

  • Photosmart C6180 cannot detect the wireless network

I have a Photosmart C6180 for over a year, and until recently it connected wireless very well.  But since a week ago, it can't detect the wireless network.  I turned off the printer and wireless router several times each without success.  The "Wireless Setup Wizard" running on the C6180does not help. Watch simply screen printer "looking for... wireless router. "indefinitely, until the function Cancel.  The wireless router is about four feet from the printer, in a direct line of sight.  In addition, I have wireless Internet access using the same router and continue to do this successfully, then the router itself works.  Recently I have updated the firmware on the router as well (after the beginning of this problem).  Running the network Test report wireless on a 'PASS' C6180 returns for "Radio on" but a "FAILURE" for "use of Radio". The radio broadcasts as "about" section of the Menu Radio wireless network.  My router is a Belkin Wireless G Router model F5D7230-4.  The printer prints very well with a wired connection, but wireless connectivity has been a key reason behind my purchase.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but your wireless radio is dead.  Its time for a new printer.

  • 5525 printer cannot find the wireless network

    Help

I'm not good with technical stuff and need help with this problem.  Printer works well before going on holiday - power off, including the CISCO router when we went away--returned and turned on any return, printer will not connect to the router again.

Have reinstalled router without result.  All other computers, phones, etc. to connect to the router fine.

Wireless network test that the MAC address filtering is enabled, they suggest however have checked this and it's not.

Wireless configuration wizard can find the network but it just seems impossible to connect to him.

Please assume the lowest level of technical understanding when you reply!

    Thank you

    Hi K27,.

I see that you are having some problems getting your Photosmart 5525 reconnected to your network after just unplugging a bit. I understand that you have your information wirelessly, but I don't want to set a link here which will take you to our HP print and doctor Scan, which can help you check some things on the wireless network.

Since you already feed the router to bike, I would recommend restoring the default values of network on the front panel of the printer. You'll want to have your printer on the home screen (should say Photo, Apps and copy). On this screen you want to touch the key/tool icon in the upper right corner, then you want to click on wireless and made scroll down looking for default network. Once you click on that it will ask if you are sure and you want to say Yes. Once that is done, I would recommend the router/printer power cycling tips that were previously provided and then run the wireless configuration that you've been already and it should be able to connect at this time.

That should hopefully fix it for you, so let me know what happens and I wish you a nice day!

  • Cannot find the printer on the wireless network

My new 6500 a 710n-z printer copier copies very well.  Also, it detects the wireless network and is given an address 169.254.182.35.  I have reset the router several times using the WPS button.  But after I installed the software on my netbook ACER Windows XP, the computer cannot find the printer.  I spent three days trying to get the $% # ^ & * to work.  I see in some documents to get a 169.254. IP address, so I'm probably not connected?  But what to do?

Well Yes, a 169.254 IP address... is auto-assignée when he can't get one from the router.  The WPS button does not reset the router.

Do this on the printer: Setup > network > Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the instructions.

  • OfficeJet 6700 cannot find the printer on the wireless network

Printer is connected to my wireless network.

Print diagnostic shows PASS for everything and I have ip (DHCP 192.168.2.19)

The printer is able to connect to the internet to download updates and pull content for apps (colouring etc...)

I disabled my firewall of windows to resolve the problems, but the HP software was listed as exceptions anyway.

Using the printer on my computer connection wizard I entered both the IP address and the host name but it is "impossible to find the printer.

My router is a netgear WNDR3700.

The ssid that I am connected is good.  I have a network of both comments, but it does not broadcast its ssid and I am not connected to it.

I am getting very frustrated.  I'm tech-saavy and it should be much easier than this.

I wonder if anyone else encountered this problem and can anyone offer suggestions?

    Thanks in advance...

  • 4 iPad unable to detect the C4599 already connected to the wireless network printer

Hi all, I have a C4599 All in One Printer. I have just set up successfully with a WiFi connection to my router / modem network (infrastructure mode). There is no error message and I can print from a variety of laptops Windows (XP, Vista and 7). I loaded the HP eprint app on my Ipad 4 but it can not detect the printer. Note that the HP site says that this printer is compatible with the App ePrint.

A second and possibly related is that I recorded with the HP eprint service website but I can't get the code or e-mail address for my printer. I can't find any way to turn it on the Web Services on the printer? (The HP site says this should be under Setup > wireless to the printer, but it is not.) There are only options to turn on/off the wireless, testing the wireless and print the wireless network and printer settings (which are all OK > PASS or information).

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

With the update that has been done to the ePrint application, some of the old printers lost the ability to use this application to print from. The printer would not print directly from the iPad to the printer either. This is a feature called AirPrint. When you have the possibility to use AirPrint, he must place the unit on the same network as the printer, pull up a photo, press the action button on the iPad and then select print. The iPad will then give an option of the printer to print from if there is more than one printer capable of of AirPrint on the network.

The printer cannot produce a code to register and save ePrint due to the age of the printer. Printers that have the ability of ePrint are a majority of those who have been in production in 2010 and later versions. A few Photosmarts who have the ability to use ePrint AirPrint are the 7520,6520 and the 5520. To learn more about these printers, see this link here.

  • I can't print due to the "wireless network connection" doesn't have a valid IP address.

    Cannot print wireless

I can't print due to the "wireless network connection" doesn't have a valid IP address.  How can I fix this problem myself (an absolute non-techie)?

    Hello

-Did you change your computer, after which the question began?
-Check if you are connected to the network?

The question seems more like a network connection problem. I would like you to do the following.

Method 1: run the Network Troubleshooter utility and see if the problem persists.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

Method 2: release and renew the IP (Internet Protocol) address and see if the problem persists.

has. click Start. Type cmd in the search box and press ENTER.
    b. at the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
ipconfig/all (there is a space between ipconfig and /)
The command ipconfig/all command displays for all your network adapters, TCP/IP in Windows settings.

If your IP address of your Local network connection is 0.0.0.0 or 169.x.x.x (where x is a number any), then your computer is not getting an IP address from the router.
If this is the case, try this:
    ·        enough ipconfig at the command prompt and press ENTER
    ·        ipconfig / renew in the command prompt and press ENTER

    Method 3:

Note: The steps also apply to Windows 7.

    Hello

I found the problem that was the printer not to see the SSID of the router.

The wireless channel was on channel 12 for the frequency of 2.4 GHz. While I was looking around I found this Support Page for Nintedo. Point 6 is a mention about these channels with respect to the same problems I was experiencing with the printer.

By changing our channel to channel number 3 number, we could see the wireless network.

It's a bit weird because I thought that the printer has a full specification b/g/n but apparently not?

In any case thank you for your support.
