I have no folder "/ Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/vmnet8 / '!

Hello
I just bought a new 2011 mac mini Server Lion

I then installed vmware fusion and then copied on an existing VM WindowsXP I used on my Dell XPS laptop

This virtual machine starts and works fine...

OK, so I read a few things on my VM for portforwarding setting that suggests that I need to make changes to a configuration file located in "/ Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/vmnet8 /...» »

I can not even find a "vmware fusion" folder at this location!

I also looked in the folder I have copy the virtual machine for a *.conf and there is nothing there either

Clues?

see you soon

I get the following error message when I try to start my VM and I don't know why, I have repaired permissions and I have about 50 GB of spare on the partition. It was great to work for a long time and the only thing I can think of, that I have done before, was until I started getting the error message I mounted the BootCamp partition and moved the files into it, then dismantled. I looked towards the top of the topic online and don't have much, (I usually are not) then I came to the experts for help. So, really, I just need to be able to start up in my VM without the error message, THANKS!

This error has nothing to do with Boot camp as far as I know. Your mac partition is running out of free space. To resolve this issue, you must first remove file from Mac partition.

For starters, I wud you suggest to empty the trash., remove files from the downloads folder. delete the old files, movies, music, photos etc... choice is up to you.

Please launch disk utility (/ applications/utilities) and check the free space of Mac HD.

  • Where is the folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Fonts CS6?

    Hi people,

I've recently updated to Mac OS X Yosemite and I now get a conflict with my Neue Helvetica postscript fonts and system fonts.

So I turned off the activation of postscript Helvetica Neue fonts (I use FontExplorer X Pro 5) and put these fonts in the folder/Applications/Adobe InDesign CS6 / Fonts. This solution worked. Conflict of policies went away and I could happily use my fonts in InDesign.

However, I need to use these fonts in other Adobe applications also. So I was wondering if there was a record of general policies for CS6.

I read online to a folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Fonts but perhaps it is an earlier version of Creative Suite, because I can't seem to locate it.

    Thank you

Fonts folder locations are given in the link below:

Hello. I have the CC of LR 2015 version. It downloads fine, but when I try to open the application, I get a message saying: "an internal error has occurred" and "could not create the required folder: / users/celinserbo/library/application support/adobe/lightroom/develop presets." Cannot create the folder means that you don't have WRITE permission for this folder. Then... change your permissions.

  • Adobe folder in ~/library/application support > 300GB

I have the macbook pro 15 "retina with 500 GB of flash disk.

I use Adobe Production Premium CS6 (not CC).

I'm short of space on my drive and noticed that the folder with the path ~/library/application support/adobe is greater than 300 GB

In addition, in the folder with the path ~/library/preferences/adobe, this file is > 50GB

So, in total, Adobe Production Premium CS6 uses 350GB (70%) of a 500GB hard drive!

How can I delete some files in these folders to free up hard disk space?

I am attaching a picture of the 'get info' of these two files.

    Hello

The location that you are talking about is the default location where all Cache & multimedia disc files are generated, which can grow enormously according to the number of projects you are working on.

Close all Adobe applications running, go to ' ~ / library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/Common ' and delete the two folders for "média Cache" & "media Cache Files.

I had the same problem, just bought a new Macbook Pro (June 2015) and Lightroom CC had this error as well.  Here is the dialog box that I've had with Adobe, and it cures the problem:

Adobe: Please click on the search option in your Dock at the bottom of the screen.

Adobe: Then click GO on the MenuBar at the top of the screen.

Adobe:, and then click GO to folder, and then type: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe /.

    Scott: OK, I did

Adobe: Control-click on the folder and choose read information.

Adobe: Expand the section sharing & permissions.

Adobe: Click on + icon, and check if the administrator select

Scott: OK, I chose the Admin

Adobe: Give read and write to the Admini

    Scott: completed

Adobe: Click the gear icon and select apply changes to included items

    Scott: OK

Adobe: In the Finder window, click GO and select GO to folder

    Adobe: Type in
    Adobe: / Library/Application Support/Adobe
    / and press enter

    Scott: completed

Adobe: Control-click on the folder and choose read information

Adobe: Expand the section sharing & permissions.

    Scott: ok

Adobe: Give read and write permissions to all users

Adobe: Then click on the sign + and add the rest of the users from the list

  • Trying to install AOM in bridge of CP, but could not find the "Mac OS: / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions" folder - where is it? Thank you!

After upgrading to 10.9.2 changed Finder and I feel something is hidden - for example, I no longer seem to be able to 'GET INFO' on my hardrive... only my car and 'my documents' etc... maybe it has something to do with not being able to find the folder: Mac OS: / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions

Jeff... Yes. I wanted to say to mark this resolved - found another thread recommending using the FINDER-GO to-and/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Bridge CC Extensions.

    It worked easy.

Little info would be a great addition to the AOM installation instructions.

    Thanks for asking!

I read that OSX 10.7 would work (but I have read many things on the Internet that actually did not work)

I suspect THAT my OS is outdated ;(

I have a MacPro 1.1, which means that OSX 10.7.5 is the last OS that will run on my machine (sigh)... and PLEASE don't tell me that I should have bought Windows. I HAD Windows, that's why I (finally) to buy a Mac-> actually, it's the lesser of two evils, just more expensive.

I really want to use PS

I really don't want to buy a new Mac, just to use PS (in fact, it isn't even an option)

    Help? Anyone?

    Thank you.

    Hi liviam,

    HERE IS THE FIX:

First of all, go to Applications-Utilities-Adobe Installers-"Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud" and uninstall the program.

    Then go to: Library-Application Support-Adobe.

-> Click RIGHT on the "CoreSync" folder, and select "get info".

In the lower part of the "get Info-> select"recovery"" then in the column 'Privilège', change it to "Read and write" (or what is available) so long as it is NOT 'read only '.

Re-install Adobe CC. It worked for me.

    Good luck

    Hi Anthony,.

    You must go to the location: admin/Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom

Hold down the CTRL key and click on Lightroom, click on read the information and click the permissions tab.

Provide the permissions to read and write to your identifier and then close.

Then reopen Lightroom. You should be able to open Lightroom.

Please let us know if it helps.
