I received an email telling me that I was charged for something I've ever had.
Original title: billing
I received an email telling me that I was charged for something I've ever had
It might be spam.
(1) the validity of the sender (name, phone number, mailing address, etc.)
(2) check if they understand your credit card or checking account numbers in the Email.
If they then contact your banking company or credit card on the possible actions you can take if you think that it is a fraudulent attempt to get the $$$

I tried to find the status of the refund by performing a search using my RMA - but IMPOSSIBLE to find anything. Is someone can you please tell me HOW I can talk to someone about this?
The email said funds are paid to the company within 5 working days. It's the SUMMER of 10 days.
Hi goody38,
I just checked your account; your refund has been processed entirely (looks like the restitution through 12/5). If you don't see it hit your bank this week, please let us know.

I received an email telling me that I have to go from xp to windows 7. Is it a scam?
In fact, it was my 76 year old mother. She has followed the link in the email and paid $110 to get the download to upgrade its system - is it a scam?
Yes, it is definitely a scam,
Microsoft not campus any user to upgrade, as the version of the operating system on the computer is completely users the choice
I would certainly advise to verify the sender of email, and then ask for an immediate refund, if they fail to do so, file a complaint against them.
And yet one thing to ensure that credit card information are safe also that this may be an attempt to possible identity theft

Not really, no. It could be an accident too - someone ' one with a user name very similar to yours that's typo in their username, may not know why they are unable to open a session, requested a password reset, thinking they forgot what it.

Last week to 10 days, I received lots of calls from someone called PC Support (which sound as if they come from the India) telling me that they want to access my PC to show me the problems that are reported to them from my ISP about something and real operating system Windows on the license key is about to expire.
I suspect that it is a new scam to try to sell the product, anti-virus/malware any... but it got me wondering whether or not it is a real-world scenario.
Can someone me one way or another?
Thank you.
RoyReed

I was charged for pictures that won't open - I get this message: the file 'AdobeStock_81619923.ai' could not be opened. Help, please?
Hi Joanne,
I just downloaded the file without problem. Not sure that it is an EPS file? You will need to open it in an application that supports files .ai (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.). Let us know if you're still having problems.
Thank you

Received an email from myself that I've not sent!
I received an email in my spam from my own email address - but I did not send the message!
It happened only once and I have loaded about 3 pieces of a strain of the virus on my computer (Dell Dimension 8300) to clean it out. It was months ago and now reappeared barely (I was monitoring it).
I have since run the adaware and spybot, AVG on the PC to delete, but I need to know if I should just delete this email address? -What is the email address that has been compromised or my PC? And how avoid that my email hijacked like that? Once that my email has been hacked it right? Should I just create a new one?
AdAware seemed to get something in my documents and settings (rather than General cookies) and who was kidnapped, but I want to know how it got there because I have all these pieces of virus on anyway?
PS - no one I know (in my AddressBook) received the same email from me.
Is it a coincidence that I moved my PC/internet connection on the same day and had bad plug or do any e-mail address that I put to the top of my machine, it will be hijackable? I have to get my PC cleaned by a professional? Or use virus checkers enough?
PS - I have too many virus checkers on anyway? someone once said that too many is just as bad as anything?
I know there are a lot of questions here - grateful for any help, thank you

- She wants to download games etc but the itunes store guard asking my ID and PW.
- How can she save herself?
- I received and Apple to say that someone had tried to reset my password by e-mail.
- It is probably her mother because she also asked me to tell him my PW and ID.
- I currently use my PW and ID on my new 1Phone6 and do not want to share this.
Can you please help.
Julie Bateman
She needs to log out of your Apple ID in the store and just connect with hers. Go to settings, iTunes and App Store and tap on the Apple ID, then select Disconnect.
