  • Maintains C7280 ink system failure 0xc19a0035 error... Help!

Hello, I've owned this printer c7280 for three years. Lately, my printer has received periodic errors preventing any impression until I have shut down and restart. The error message reads:

Ink system has failed. Cannot copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to the printer documentation.

    Error: 0xc19a0035

Stop the power, then on again.

When I reboot, printers works fine for anywhere between a few minutes to an hour before this same message back to the top. Sometimes, when the printer is not used at all, it suddenly shows error message. The moment that I think is random. Other times, when I try to print from my computer, the error message appears on the printer. I am still able to print pages, but I have to restart the printer if the error appears.

How can I fix it? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

THAT I HAD REPLACED A CARTRIDGE A MONTH AGO... HP brand AND NOW GET this MESSAGE.

I RE-SET, CLEANED ALL THE CARTRIDGES AND TALKED WITH HP ON THE PHONE 2 X.   IT WORKS AGAIN FOR A SHORT PERIOD, THEN THE INK SYSTEM FAILURE ERROR APPEARS AGAIN.

HP said I need a new?   It worked very well until this and always does this for awhile after you reset it, so can't understand

Why should I go out and get a new one for this problem.  I hope someone can help!    Thank you!

IS NOT THAT DEMAND THE DAY 'EXPERT' OF AID?  HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING YET!

This same error started on my printer and eventually it would power on and off constantly. Apparently some defective components were used in the construction of the logic board (see photo). My C6180 there were 3 defective capacitors (the Green cylinders - breathtaking top indicates failure) and a 4th from the same manufacturer (TEAPO - many web references unfavourable to this manufacturer). I bought 3 x 330uF 16V and 1 x 680uF 10v rated at 105 degrees Celsius (total about 60cents). On the logic board, the capacitors I replaced are labeled C613, C614, C660 and C662. If you are not comfortable replacing components yourself (or is not a soldering tool), you will need to find someone who will. The repair time should be less than 30 min - I did it in 25 minutes with only a solder pen. This also fixed the ink the printer was to have system failures. A similar fix may apply to other printers.

  • Problem with printer or ink system failure

I have a HP Officejet 6600, and I get this message:

"There is a problem with the printer or ink system.  Turn the printer off, then on.  If the problem persists, contact HP. »

Well, I did it.  I have also run the hardware diagnostic tool, which had me unplug the printer and turn it back on, and I did it a couple of times.  I always get the error message.  I also took printhead of the printer and put back them in.  Does anyone have a solution that might be able to share with me for this problem?

    Thank you

My problem was solved by the link in the first reaction after my post. I tried power downs and plug the tire, but following this post EXACTLY... worked. The method of pulling on the power cord of the printer with it cleared the error message and everything has worked perfectly since

  • 0xc19a0023 of Photosmart ink system failure

I have a photosmart C6380 All - In - one printer which has an error message on that says "ink system failure, 0xc19a0023 please turn printer market."  Followed all directions under the heading contact hp as turning point on and outside, by unplugging all the cords, clean the electrical contacts, etc..  Bought in 3/09, so out of warranty.  Called Hp and has spent 37 minutes on the line with them, trying to sell me a new printer without ever discussing the problem with someone difficult to understand.  Was willing to pay $20 for 14 days tech support but kept making pressure to pay $37.for 1 year of technical support.    We know what means this code and how to fix it?  Have never had any other problems with the printer and still use the correct HP with her ink cartridges. Have windows Vista on my computer.  Thank you!

Usually with a message like that, we recommend you first disconnected the USB cable if it is connected to a computer. Then remove the cartridges from the printer as well. With the always on power, unplug the power cord at the back of the printer, as well as the wall, and then wait for about 60 seconds. After that, plug it to the wall first, then the printer, allowing it to start.

If it gives you a message similar to "the following ink cartridges appear to be missing or corrupt" you can reinstall them at this time, when you are prompted.

(If you do not have a keyboard, then you won't be able to do the 2 steps. Please see below.)

If you get the error message even if you have a numeric keypad on the printer, proceed in the same way, but before plugging it back in, press and hold the button # with the number 3 and plug the power cord into the printer and now the buttons. Once the printer starts to show he'll be back to the top, you can release the buttons and allow him to return to the top.

If you continue to get the message, then do the same thing except hold # and number 6 on the keypad and it allow to return to the top.

If you still get the message after all the steps above are performed, please contact HP for a replacement, if your printer is still under warranty. If the printer is out of warranty, then we have still generally upgrade options available, and you may be able to get a replacement printer (yet a different or better model) cheaper to go buy a new one. It is usually a good idea to call to see what your options may be at this time for this on phone support options. Beyond what I posted, it is not a lot of telephone support can do for you, so, in my opinion, I would try to focus on the upgrade options.

Without specific error code I'm not sure what to do

Hi CHCA. Your Officejet 6500 must be out of warranty? You can doublecheck the warranty status of your printer here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/weInput?cc=ie & lc = on -if it is still under warranty, you should not pay for a new printheaad.

But if your printer is no longer under warranty, you buy one a. The part that you really need to order an Officejet 6500, is CN643A. If you are in the United States, here are the HP part store page where you can order the new print head Assembly: http://h20141.www2.hp.com/HPPARTS/Search_Results.aspx?mscssid=C580393F30964EDD82B16A5C641BEC41 & Searchin' PartNumber = & SearchPN = CN643A

If you are not in the United States, start from this page: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/wwhowtobuy.html , specify your country and search for CN643A.

Also, here is a support document that should help you with the replacement of the print head: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01643079

    Hello Kah524,

I met your questions and we have a solution for this and you can try it, but that would apply only on starting with '0xC18A' and not '0xc19a error codes.

Try the following steps for Photosmart C7280:

    A. - Press and hold the "*" key.

    B. - Press the "#" and release both buttons.

Display should say "enter special key Combo".

    C. - Press and release in sequence the buttons '1', '2' and '3 '.

Display should say "Support" and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)

Press and release the right arrow button until the display shows "Menu of the System Configuration'.

Press and release the OK"" button.

Display should say "hardware failure status. If it isn't there already, arrow above for "Hardware failure status"

Press and release the OK"" button.

Display should say "hardware failure status: clear." Press OK to erase.

Press and release the OK"" button. Message becomes "hardware failure (breakdowns) resolved state. Press Cancel to continue.

Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the 'ink system failure' is displayed. DON'T TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

Using the power button, turn the power off and unplug the power cable from the back of the printer output and the wall.

Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first, and then to the back of the printer

Switch on the device. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON CLOSING the PRINTER" followed by "Press OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.

If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If this isn't the case, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK initialization PROCESS". Allow this process to do and not to interrupt. Once the initialization is completed, the printer print a Diagnostic page.

To check, features of the printer print a PAGE of TEST car. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or installation of the software.

If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

    -----------------------------------------------------

0XC19a error messages, the printer can be retrieved.

Good luck and if that fixes the problem please click on Bravo...

  • ERROR MESSAGE HP6700 - PROBLEM WITH THE PRINTER OR INK SYSTEM CONTACT HP

I JUST BOUGHT A HP OFFICEJET 6700 (LESS THAN 1 WEEK), THE PROBLEM OF PRINTER OR INK SYSTEM MESSAGE, TURN PRINTER OFF THEN WE IF THE PROBLEM CONTINUES CONTACT HP. IS DISPLAYED ON THE PRINTER SCREEN. I DID EVERYTHING SUGGESTED, AND MORE MORE, BUT THIS CUSTOM MESSAGE CLEARLY.  ALL DIAGNOSES OF THE PRINTER THE PRINTER IS FINE.  THE OPERATING SYSTEM IS WINDOWS 7.

    Mahamoud,
Your article made a walkthrough basic troubleshooting, ending with the question if the print head is repairable. Because it is not on the 6700, the article isn't really the problem.

Here is the solution I found to this problem:
I discovered that eliminating all ink cartridges allows the printer at startup (although there is a message saying the missing print cartridges).
Putting the cartridges in a binary regression revealed that the ink has been bad. (In my case, I only got the message of failure/printer ink when the yellow cartridge was in the printer).
Replacement of the restored cartridge the printer functionality.
    That's the good news.
Now the bad news: for HP.
The generic error message indicates a failure with the printer or the ink system. No differentiation. With the electronics in the cartridges (that the client pays a high price for), looks that HP could not understand how to indicate a cartridge problem. This error message is not only unnecessary, but misleading. The printer indicates only a power reset and then contact HP. There is no indication that he might be a cartridge problem, not to mention what cartridge has failed. By the way, my customer encountered this problem when you replace the color cartridges. The cartridge failed was a new replacement.
All of the web enabled features, fax, scanning features, print included with this printer are not very useful if the user can't get the dang thing to print.
Another problem with this printer, is that, even when you only print in b & W, the printer uses little color (ostensibly make Blacks more "BOLD"). Then, finally, a color cartridge will go low or empty, even if only B & W printing. And guess what, you can't continue to print n & B if one of the color cartridges are out of ink. Thus, HP... How is this useful printer in an office environment, where most print tends to be B & W?

(I would add; the solution in the message of failure/printer ink cartridge cannot fix your problem if, in fact, there are a few default printer. But if the problem is in the ink system, then the troubleshooting cartridge can help you).
I have posted similar comments on Amazon, for this printer, in the subject line: shame on you, HP.

  • How to: perform a reset of the ink system

When ink troubleshooting related issues, be it an error of cartridge of ink or the impossibility to print one multiple and certain or colors, one of the first steps to try is a reset of the ink system.  This resets the system of ink in the printer and get rid of all the false errors.  I will outline the steps below.

Perform a reset of the ink system:

    1. While the printer is on, remove all printer ink supplies.  This includes all the cartridges and printheads, if it is removable.
    2. Unplug the printer from the power source while on and no ink in the printer supplies
    3. Get a clean, lint and clean water
    4. Use the cloth and water to wipe the electrical contacts of the cartridges, the contacts inside the printhead for cartridges, the contacts on the back of the printhead that connect to the printer and the contacts in the printer that connect to the print head
    5. Wipe the contacts so that the water is in/on the system
    6. Plug the printer back to the power source, without ink supplies
    7. Insert the print head when the printer turns on and shows the printhead is missing
    8. Insert the print cartridges when the printer indicates that the cartridges are missing.  Do one at a time to ensure that the error is not from one of the cartridges.  The upper part and insert the first cartridge, and then close the top.  The front of the printer should, then, indicate that the remaining colors are missing.  To do this individually with all the cartridges.
    9. Once the print head and cartridges are installed, then the printer will attempt automatic alignment.  Once the alignment is complete, reset/Reset ink system is over.

If the error or problem continues, then move the additional steps in the document troubleshooting for this issue.  This is just the first step to help clear false errors that may be present.

Hope it will be useful for anyone who needs to perform this reset.  Good impression.

  • 0xc19a0020 ink system failure error message

    Hello

    I have a HP Photosmart Plus, product # CN216, model # B210a. I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.5

Today, I turned on my printer and got the error message "ink system failure 0xc19a0020 please turn printer Off and then on.

So I did, but still got the error. So, I did the troubleshooting, which told me how to clean the print head. I've done 3 times, but I still get the error. I unplugged the power cord from the printer, then the wall, waited, then reconnected. I still get the error.

I use the printer at least once a week, so he hasn't been sitting unused for too long.  I have not changed anything or whatever installed lately. The ink cartridges have ink.

Anything else I can try? The replacement print head is $72!

    Thank you!

Sorry, but generally, this can be a bad head of printing or bad cartridges. Here is a link that will help you with this problem, even if you did most of these steps.

If you have already replaced the front print heads and you return to this same stage, it would be a bad printer and maintenance needs.

  • HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer - H711a/H711g 'Ink system failure', will not print computer

At first, it was just a problem with do not print from the computer.  Error messages had to do with the failure of the print head or do not find print head, etc..  After going through several different controls online, download the scans, etc., it does not at all, print showing an error message "ink system failure".  I tried to remove and reinsert the 4 printheads (black 932, 933 colors) and turning market and check the caps and unplug the power.  Since this is a wireless network, I can't unplug the USB.  It was the OK signal.  Now, with this error message, I don't see the home screen printer controls.  It just says: put it on and then contact HP.  Help, please.  Very frustrated (it didn't happen all at once - a first he wouldn't print from the computer sometimes, other times.)

    Wildrat58,

If you get ink system failure and you've been through the steps that are listed in the article above the printer may require troubleshooting. You can reach support - 800-474-6836. • Failure ink system - error 0xc18a0206

I have a HP PhotoSmart C7250 all-in-one that has the error:

    Ink system failure

Ink system has failed.  Cannot copy, receive faxes. or print.  Refer to the printer documentation.  Error 0xc18a0206. Stop the power, then on again.

I was not able to locate this error in any manual or on the website of HP.  I found similar ones involving different printers and cartridges.

I tried several scenarios to powering off the printer, unplug the power and remove the cartridges, but nothing works.  I noticed that the cartridges have dates that are in the past.  Before you go out and buy a new set of ink cartridges, I would like to know if this is a possible solution to the problem.  They are all new (just open the packaging) but more than one year after the date on them.  I don't want to buy a complete set of cartridges, so I'll have to replace the printer (who knows what cartridges will take a new printer).  After all, the cost of the cartridges, it would be a good part of the cost of a new unit.

    Hello!

A few months back, I did a collection of solution for this problem. He helped resolved much ink system failures up to that date. You can check it out.
