  • Why Firefox hang when I open the printing preferences to print Web pages on my Dell 720 inkjet, after that Windows XP gives me the warning on a protection fault 0 x 0000005?

I can copy text from websites and paste it into MS Word, where I can print fine in B & W or color. I can print from wordpad, too. And I had no problems printing in Internet Explorer. I'm just cannot open the printing preferences window when you use Firefox 7.0.1 and I don't have any add-ons like "Print Print Preview Update" (Acrobat, Silverlight, Office, and a few others). Firefox crashes when I try to open the printing preferences, but I am still able to print, only in the default settings. I use a Dell 720 inkjet connected to an IBM Thinkpad R51e with reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition 2002 SP3, processor Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz 1.87 GB RAM (added). I installed the printer driver before connecting the printer, and I use Avira antiviral software. This laptop has had problems in the past, but I don't want to give up on this. Please ask if you need more information.

I completely removed Firefox 7.0.1 and replaced by 5.0.1 and now I can open the printing preferences. Follow these instructions:

Create a system first, restore point if you want.

Then, click on start, Control Panel, programs and features. Uninstall Mozilla Firefox.

    Reach...

    If 32 bits...
    C:\Program Files

    If 64-bit...
    C:\Program Files (x 86)

And delete the Mozilla Firefox folder.

This should give you a fresh start. Then install the old version. Just bookmarks can be imported from Internet Explorer or registered before switching versions

  • HP ENVY 5660: Some colors blur and bleeding the Grafix shrink paper inkjet

I'm trying to print using my HP ENVY 5660 on Grafix inkjet Shrink Film, sanded and sanded.

I load the paper in the printer, right side down.  Leaf prints and the cloud of colors outside and purge well beyond what they are supposed to.  What is strange, is that this seems to be the specific color, even on the same page and the same paper.  I used the same graph, change the color scheme in photoshop.

The question seems to be particularly with gray or dark brown.  Even in this case, the results are quite incompatible regardless of what choice I have made.  Colors to print without problem are the colors pastels, more luminous and saturated and dark purple / blues.

Image attached to show the difference in quality on the same page character sets, different colors.

I tried the project in order to reduce the excess of ink.

I used every possible paper setting: other glossy ink jet, another Photo paper, matte paper, paper normal and all options of HP.

The problem does not occur when printing black and white.

    I installed the latest drivers.

    I aligned the cartridges.

I ran a diagnostic page and cleaning, everything is fine.

    I use genuine HP inks.

Edit: I cleaned the inkheads and all parts in your printer with q-tips and isopropyl alcohol.  It is at least very clean now, but the printing problem seems the same.

Edit Edit: the issue stops when I print images at 30% opacity, which leads me to believe that it is a problem of overflow of ink.

    Unfortunately not really.

    Thanks anyway.

  • HP C6602A inkjet cartridge: HP Inkjet Print Cartridge C6602A questions

My company recently upgraded our digital TS230 check and to the TS240 TS4120 and also bought new ink for the scanners. The new scanner takes the same 230 ink and 4120 took which is the cartridge inkjet HP C6602A. After you configure the scanners in several places, we started to receive complaints about the scanner by saying that there is no ink cartridge in the unit or it would stop spraying a micr information at the back of the scanned items.

I received one of the new cartridge to inspect and I noticed that on the new cartridge, the connector of the chip was a different design. The old cartridge model a full chip and the newer half a chip. I don't know if it was a bad batch of cartridges that are in circulation or if it was designed this way to reduce the cost of manufacturing the ink cartridge but I would like some answers.

I called Digital Check on this issue, and the representative told me that they have received several complaints about this as well

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 6960: Differences between inkjet cartridges

What is the difference between HP 903 (standard or XL) inkjet cartridges and HP 934/935 XL?  Just had to buy a new printer through a hardward on that failure which was only 13 months old.  The old used HP 934 / 935. They are exactly the same except with different numbers and are exactly the same way and using the same method.

The 934/935 HP would allow instead of the 903 HP without damaging the settlement 6960 as I had just installed some new HP 934/935 in the defunct printer?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

No, the cartridges are designed for a particular printer.  It cannot be used in another printer that uses a number of different cartridge.

    Hope that helps!

  • HP Business Inkjet 1200 D: HP Business Inkjet 1200D duplex option Auto disappeared when it is installed on Windows 10

When I moved HP Business Inkjet 1200 D of Windows VISTA 64-bit for new Windows 10 64-bit, the printer works fine, but the AUTOMATIC duplex option disappeared.

I looked under PROPERTIES, SETTINGS, ADVANCED, etc..,.

Windows search gave "DRIVERS ARE up-to-date"

    I'm puzzled.

The default value for HP Business Inkjet 1200 seems to be the duplexer is 'not installed '.  You perform the following operations (only once) to enable:

    • Go to the folder devices and printers, right click on the Business Inkjet 1200.
    • Select the printer properties
    • Select the device settings tab.   On the "Installation Options" tab select "Unit duplex (for double-sided printing)", then installed, apply, OK.
    • Close all printer dialog boxes.  When you reopen the duplex printing option will now be available.

  • HP Photosmart C4780: are the HP Photosmart C4780 or printers inkjet HP Deskjet F380?

Hello.  I was told that I need to use an ink jet printer to print my labels from Amazon.  Any of you know if the above printers are inkjet?   Quite honestly don't know the differnece. I tried e-mailing support but may not like expired warranty...

All Photosmart and Deskjet models are ink jet printers.  Another common printing technology is laser printinting.  Probably the labels would have problems with the high temperatures involved in the laser printing process.

Or the other of your printers should work.

  • Why 2 types of HP564 black inkjet cartridges?

I just bought my HP Photosmart B209A last month. I ran out of black ink. No problem... I need a Ref. 564 black cartridge. So, I went to my local Wal-Mart and bought one. Got it home and cannot install it. The packaging said HP564 Photosmart so I think I bought the right one. but no! Of course, this is after I opened and cannot return it. Thanks, now I'm out $10.00 all because HP can't score there products correctly. Why are there 2 types of 564 black cartridges? Yes, I know (now) that one is for photos and one is for normal printing and some model printers both use. But my new B209A only uses the Pentagon grand style. No 564 a or 564b or maybe a different number. No other designation unless you take the time to look under the 546 and see the little 'black picture. Who knows, there is nothing in the manual indicating the difference. It clearly states that this printer takes cartridge 564.

Obvoiusly Walmart knows no difference because him are all mixed in the same line.

Nice, gee thanks again HP! HP will do something? I guess I'm doing my part to increase your profits. The next time I give themselves as if by magic on all HP products. Pretty pathetic for something as stupid as an inkjet cartridge.

    Hi @SuzHP

Sorry to hear talk about the experience that you try to get the right cartridge. You can either buy for the PS 7520...

    a regular HP564 black (return on page ~ 250)

    OR

    HP564XL black (~ 550 performance)

The printer is a 5-ink system so you have black, Cyan, Magenta, yellow and black Photo. The best place for information on the compatibility of the cartridge is SureSupply or app eSupplies

What was the product not. on the HP564 you purchased?

    Thanks, Ciara
