I get the title message whenever I try to install any USB device. I already checked the "Device Installation Restrictions" settings in gpedit and makes sure that they are all applied. All the "Device Installation" settings are on "Not configured", too.

This warranty covers virtually all the advice I can find anywhere. Anyone know what else could be the cause this problem? It's incredibly frustrating.

I fixed it. There was some stupid hidden policies in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Device Install\ , appearing in the policy editor. I deleted them.

    Hello
I tried to search Toshiba A665-14R drivers but drivers are not available for Windows 10, if I'm looking for the section Drivers on the toshiba Web site and select my computer model A665-14R then no driver rises, I think toshiba assuming that A665-14R cannot install Windows 10 rather I have 8 GB of RAM & CPU Intel i7 with a 3D graphics card! Its not like my laptop is old and cannot load windows 10, Microsoft has already tested and approved my laptop to window windows installed 10, since I have installed 10 my laptop works fine but I am not able to install TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor, Synaptics Pointing Device Driver, installation of equipment TOSHIBA TOSHIBA value added package Etc Etc

Its really annoying that I can't scroll down pages because the Synaptics pointing device has no update
    Any help please?
    Thank you

This model is quite old and has been supported for Win7. I can just say... no luck. A lot of older machines may well work with newer operating systems, but they are not officially supported.

What should do? Try to check if the drivers, tools and utilities for a newer machine with similar hardware can be used on your laptop Satellite A.

I had the similar problem in the past with Vista and no supported Win7.

  • Satellite A200-1TS (PSAE6E) freezes

    Hello world

First of all, my English is very bad, so I hope someone can understand me. In any case thanks for the effort.

I have a Toshiba A200-1TS I bought 10 months ago. I have two problems that I don't know how to solve. One of the problems is that Vista SP1 starts very slowly, it takes about 4-5 minutes before I can use any program. I have a long startup list, but many of these startup applications come from drivers Toshiba so I guess they can't be disabled. Here is the list I have...

    http://www.imageflux.NET/ver.php?v=774738startup.jpg

As you can see, I added 3 applications, Comodo Firewall, Antivir Personal Edition and Driver printer HP4380. I installed these applications on my other computer and I don't think they are the reason for the slow start. The boot process is fast until I see the office, then the volume, network and battery icons are loaded, and after that I have to wait 2 minutes see the Comodo or Antirvirus icon...

I am very disappointed with that because my computer have never started quickly (my sister has a computer with a slower processor (NOT T7500) and does not have these problems). After 10 minutes of my Toshiba becomes what it takes 'Ferrari' (sorry jeje).

The second problem is more serious. I can't use any of the Fn keys(F1-F12) because my computer hangs when I press the fn (the one which is near the CTRL key). I noticed this problem two months ago (my work leaves me not a lot of time to solve this problem) and I decide to reinstall with the CD of factory two weeks ago.

Everything was fine, I use no problem for 3 three days and after a Windows Update, I noticed the problem again. Then I formatted my HARD drive and I installed a clean Windows Vista SP1 version (thinking that might be a problem of Factory Settings CD so I spent money for nothing), I installed the drivers from the website of toshiba europe, everything seemed OK, but once again after a Windows Update, I can not push FN key because my computer crashes.

I don't know if it could be a Windows problem. Yesterday when I went to sleep, worked the keys Fn and hardware configuration. I accept the updates of windows and does not check after the process.

Today, the computer crashes when I try to load the installer of equipment, or when I press the FN key, so can't change brightness, turn off the touchpad or use the zoom utility (use of flash-cards with the mouse is OK, but I prefer to use the FN keys).

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

I also put t that this could be a hardware problem, due to the fact that your machine and the FN keys worked properly after installing new Toshiba DVD recovery.

I recommend you to download the new VAP Toshiba Toshiba European pilot page and reinstall.
You need to remove the old VAP first. Then clean the BONES and the registry using the CCleaner (it the free tool) and after a reboot reinstalled the VAP.

  • Outage map mother Toshiba P10 - 504

I recently had a major problem with my Toshiba P10-504. I have no idea how it is happened, but according to the Toshiba people who are setting the motherboard has failed. This meant that when trying to turn it on all I got was the blue light and noise from the fan and eventually the HD spinning round and not display at all. The cost of fixing, it was quoted at around £450 and it will take a couple of weeks. As you can imagine I have never wanted to meet this problem again and would really like to understand how it happened. Any information would be great. To help here's a list of everything I did and didn t before it crushed that may be useful:

    Before the crash
    (1) installed a new module of memory: 1 GB DDR333 SODIM (brand pqi?) - I have installed the module a week before that the system failed and it was working fine. I m worried of course re - install the module when the laptop is returned (tips?).

One the day of the accident
    (1) set processor scheduling to basic services to increase performance of audio software
    (2) turned all power and all patterns always found hibernation modes these boring
    (3) set the swap file for virtual memory to about 1.2 GB just to experiment with different performance settings, although this was probably a bit excessive.
    (4) after the three things above do I simply close the lid, no request was running and the system had not yet been arrested and was running on batteries. That s the last time it worked.

The laptop had not known physical damage.

Thanks for reading through it all - I hope that m make sense. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Chris.

    Hi Chris

Looking at the list of things you've done I don't see anything that could damage the computer.
Installation of equipment (memories, PC cards and so on) is always a 'risk', but as long as you keep the standards and use your head instead of force, you should be pretty safe.
Since the memory was running in your machine for a week, it seems very unlikely that it can be the cause of the problem.
My long experience with the mobile equipment service tells me that I have but a very few cases have seen software damaging hardware. It is possible in theory, but in real life - this is the last possibility on my list anyway.
Stuff in the breeze computer most of the time for no reason visilible - means that he does not want to break because of misuse, improper handling or bad software. He breaks everything.
Looking at the number of "parts" 1 computer have inside (besides just motherboard, memory, hard disk and so on but counting of connectors, transistors in the large chips, welds on big and so chips suite) I (my personal point of view) feel sometimes that it is lucky that they do not break.

So to answer your question: just take care of your computer normally, stick to hardware options that are made for your computer (prefer original Toshiba) and you did your part of the deal :)

  • Time Capsule loses connection to the internet every day

I have a time Capsule airport of 5th generation TB 3 (802.11 AC, A1470).  For the past year, I lost the connection Wireless to the internet once a week or more.  In recent weeks, he has taken place more frequently and often now also 3 - 4 times / day.  During the internet cut, the light on the Time Capsule still green watch, but none of my devices are able to get to the wireless (3 iPhones, iPod Touch, iMac and 2 MacBook Air, Bose Speaker).   I can restore internet connectivity by cutting and then by restarting the power of the time Capsule.    All phones and computers are running the latest software updates.  Airport Time Capsule is running 7.7.3

We do not know if you have a service provider problem, a problem of modem or a matter of Time Capsule.

Provider number... check with your service provider to ask them if they are experiencing loss of momentary service due to new installations of equipment on their service. They will most certainly say that their service was perfect and the problem lies elsewhere, but it does not hurt to check.

Modem question... If the modem loses its connection to the service from the provider, even just for a moment, then the Internet will go down and the time Capsule which landed.  Unfortunately, there is no easy way to test the modem.  All you can do is connect a computer directly to the modem for a few days and check the connection from time to time to see if it fell.

If so, this indicates that you that you might have a problem with the son of Internet that come into your home to the wall outlet, if you do not want your provider to send a technician to check and test the line to come in your House.

If the wiring checked out OK, then you may have a problem of modem and the modem will probably be replaced... regardless of his age. If the modem is more than 4-5 years old, then it really must be replaced at this point.

If you have not replaced the Ethernet cable from the modem in a few years, it would be a great time to do this.  There are some modems that just don't get along well with Apple routers... Motorola 6121 SB, SB 6141 and SB 6183 come to mind.  What is the number and model of your modem?

Matter of Time Capsule... If there is no connection drops during your modem 2-3 days 'test' with a computer connected directly to the modem, then the time Capsule becomes the suspect.  About everything you can do in this case is to reset the device back to the default and then put settings in place again to see if this will help the issue. If you don't want to do it... and you have an Apple Store close to home... you can take the time Capsule to them and make them run tests on the Time Capsule.

As you can imagine, 99 times out of 100, no problem you will find when you take the Capsule in the Apple Store because the drops intermittent are by far the most difficult problem to resolve.

  • HP Pavilion a6000n desktop: adding false graphic RAM and freezes start.

Well, I'm back with the same machine as the previous assignments.  I ordered the recovery of Surgeons of the computer disks and that they were unnecessary because the computer does not see any cd/dvd I have to install.  Finally gave up and ordered a Windows Vista recovery usb flash drive and installed the operating system.  I used it very well with the RAM minimum (1 GB).  I decided to upgrade the memory to use all 4 GB.  All four are recognized in the BIOS/Setup with the full 4 GB dispalyed.  The new brand of memory is Samsung.  Everything seems to be as it should.

Here's the problem: the Windows splash screen appears with the scan progress bar and when it gets to the sixth pass it freezes as black and alternating vertical lines distorted graph color vertical lines appear.  It will remain so until I have shut down, because he has not answered all the keyboard commands.

I removed two 1 GB modules and restarted without problem.  I've tried three, and he did nothing.  Swapped the output for the two 1gbs modules, I removed and they worked perfectly.  With four on board is the problem presented and only when windows is loading.

I also tried safe mode.  All four ram modules work with the VGA drivers in safe mode without graphical distortions or freezes.

I tried to restore the computer to an earlier time with the console of Windows Vista repair because he found from the problems and suggested this course of action.  When I did, he removed my Firefox browser.

Has anyone seen this problem before or a solution?  Thank you for help.

Before that I inform you of why 4 GB will not work, I will inform you of the steps, I took in coming to my conclusion.

First of all, I found an old PCI VGA card and installed.  Then I started the installer and changed to display pci dashboard.  F10 save and exit.  I left Vista find the new hardware and drivers.  Power off and swapped the cable from the monitor with pci card.  Restarted.  Last good known Configuration.  Made to the desktop with large icons, display etc.  Power off.  Installed all four modules of memory of 1 GB.  The installer confirms the mms of 1 GB in all four banks.  Save and exit.  A frozen fourth passage on the starting Windows progress bar screen.  Display is now less than a hundred multicolored pixels (it looks like stars in the night sky) scattered across the screen with barely perceptible ms inside progress bar.  Killed power as no response to input devices.  Modules removed from DIMM0 DIMM2 (banks 1 and 3) and installed two 512 MB mms instead.  Power, entered installation.  Confirmed 1 GB, 512MB, 1 GB, 512MB in DIMM0-4 (banks 1-4).  Save and exit.

Eureka!  Starts directly on the desktop with no complications.  Vista even automatically the Resolution 1600 x 900 display value.

Power off.  Remove the PCI card.  Has changed from the monitor to the integrated connector cable.  Powered on the Setup where I changed the display on board.  Saved and get out.  Straight to the desktop.  All right.  Vista indicates on the installed 3,072 GB 3.0 GB.

I had read a useless article on the HP Forum that said that HP had made disappear the memory alternative banks.  Thank you for that.  Thanks kaoutar to straighten me out on this.

After studying the limits of memory on Windows os systems, I made a discovery.  Due to the limitations of physical or software address, Vista cannot use 4 GB RAM in the 32-bit operating system.  You must install os 64 bit where it can use 8 GB to 16 GB.

Here are a few discussions of support, I found to cooberate my conclusion that 4 GB will not work on this computer, as this is with Vista 32 bit installed.

Thanks for the reply and assistance EricoInstallation of Bank alternation of RAM modules corresponding coupled to the reduction of two of these 512 MB back is the solution.  It was an error of installation of equipment so many restrictions imposed by hardware and software manufacturers.  If I or anyone else, wants more RAM under Vista or 7, will need the 64-bit versions.

  • How to acquire data through several channels in parallel using E 6070 PXI, PXI-4071 and LabVIEW?

    Hello

I use LabVIEW and NI PXI-4071 PXI NOR 6070E to measure the current through a variable resistance. Now, I use a single channel of SCB - 68, but I want to add another channel at the same time so that I can have two resistors instead of one that I cam measure current through them.

I have attached a Pdf file showing installation of equipment to use and code LabVIEW also.

Can someone look at these files and give me some guidelines or ideas that can help me solve this problem, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

    Shaheen.

Your 4071 can do a measure at a time. Your data acquisition cannot measure resistance is not she of the analog inputs.

However, you could use a multiplexer and multiplexer your 4071 DMM. This habit give you simultaneous action, but can acquire data one after the other, the speed depends on the multiplexer, you choose!

    I hope this helps.

  • LabVIEW Vision will not create large AVI file

    Good afternoon

I'm having a problem with my camera data storage in an AVI file for further processing.

    Installation of equipment:

Camera of the Grey Gazelle edge

    2 cables of camera Link

    Card PCIe-1433

    Software:

    LabVIEW 2013

    Module vision 2013

    Computer:

    Dell Inspiron

    Windows 7 Professional

    NTFS drive - 1 TB

    16 GB OF RAM

X 4 PCIe bus does support speed

Now the camera captures approximately 280 fps.

I have a LabVIEW application that captures the image and writes it to an AVI file.

I use 1 buffer IMAQ and the loop runs so fast that he has an image to store.

I found the best performance using the codec uncompressed Y800 gray.

First series of tests, with only 8 GB of RAM.

When I run 10 seconds, everything is good.  I get about 2800 stored images.

When I tried to run for 20 seconds, it would go well for about 12 or 13 seconds and then go very slowly (50 images per second).

I assumed it was eating to the top of the available RAM.

So, I replaced the 8 GB of RAM with 16 GB.

Everything seemed to work as before.

I ran the routine of capture of data for 10 seconds, he collected all the images, everything is good.

I then tried to run entering data for 20 seconds.

It seemed to work very well, the image is displayed on the screen, the gauge of speed indicated that he was turning to about 280 fps.

When I open the AVI file, he had only 3846 stored images, about 13.7 seconds.

I ran once again, the capture of data for 30 seconds.

It seemed to work very well, the image was correctly displayed on the screen, gauge speed indicated that he was turning to about 280 fps.

When I open the AVI file, he had only 3846 stored images.

When I checked the hard drive directory, these two test files are the same size.

    2 065 819 KO.

With the NTFS file system, there should not be a limit to the size.

And the LabVIEW does not plant when she was doing writing to AVI function.

Y at - it a maximum size for the AVI file, I run in to?

    Or something else?

    Thank you

  • I recvd error 'program compatibility problem' for my logitech g27 wheel.

Logitech G27 Racing Wheel game controller

I recvd 'compatibility problem program' error for my logitech g27 steering wheel wheel.it has been running for 1 1/2 years.

    Hi, Raceready6,

You have posted to the Feedback Forum of responses from Microsoft.  This question should be posted in the Forum located here games

Compatibility PlayStation3 game with Logitech G25 and G27 racing wheels

This table is a sample of a few PS3 popular games released in the United States. If your favorite game is not on this list, the game can still support your Logitech wheel. Contact the developer of your favorite game for information more up-to-date on the wheel support.

Steering wheel general troubleshooting of game consoles (Wii, PS, Xbox, etc.)

If my wheel does not work on my game console (Wii, PlayStation, Xbox, etc.), what should I check before contacting support?

On a console, there are two things to check if a wheel does not work in a particular game:

NOTE: If you have a Driving Force GT, and most of the wheel works with the exception of the special as the PS button buttons and Horn, see article 10768 Knowledge Base. If you have a steering wheel Driving Force, and that you are trying to play a game that is inherited from the Playstation (PS1/PS2) on a PS3 console, see article 10767 Knowledge Base.

    Installation of equipment:

    To check your hardware configuration

    1. Turn off your game console
    2. Disconnect the power adapter of the wheel.
    3. If you have a wheel that mounts to a desktop, check the AC adapter cable is firmly connected. A loose connection in the steering wheel unit to be recognized.
    4. Check the working of the power source. Some wall sockets can be controlled by a wall switch. If in doubt, try to plug another device into the wall to check the functioning of the power.
    5. Check that the USB cable has not plucked or separations in the thread.

    In-game support:

To see if the game is compatible:

    1. Logitech.com is trying to keep a list of the supported games on the product page of each wheel. If your game is on this list, then it is certainly supported. If this isn't the case, you may need to contact the developer of the game.
    2. If your game is listed as supported on Logitech.com, but you can't use your wheel again, your game or console may require an update. It is recommended to connect your console to the internet, and then start the game in question. If your console is connected to the internet, most of the games automatically checks a status update. Try to complete each game, in addition to your console, if necessary.
    3. Try a different USB port. Some games have specific requests of what port should be connected to a wheel.

    Additional information:

If you try these steps and your drive still does not work, contact Customer Service. The representative may ask you to repeat, or perform some variants, these steps to check the activity of the wheel. Perform these steps with the technician can resolve your case, we recommend following the steps requested by the technician.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • Mini 110 1020nr Driver Sound?

    I have recently reinstalled

Windows XP Edition sp2 family  (on my)

    HP mini 110 1020NR

I had to reinstall the drivers manually. I installed the chipset ethenet, graphics and sound. Everything is sensitive as it should, except my sound. When I try to play a song on my WMP, you receive an error message:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device. There may be a sound device installed on your computer, it can be used by a program or it is not working properly.

I made no changes to this laptop, except a few audio driver installation to test a resolution and an installation of Realtek of the ".com" and yet no solution. No, there is an icon on the lower right, which shows that I have an option for sound operation. I tried Youtube.com to test for sound and the laptop is a mute.

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you.
