Instant ink program

The instant the ink plan indicates that the printer must be connected to the internet for them to monitor the pages and ink.  This means that the printer is running ' "as well?  I know that sounds stupid, but my mind says this is two separate issues.  I don't normally leave my printer 'ON' all the time... Only when I use it.  How many times must he be '' THEY ''?

No need to be all the time.

I have two printers, exactly the same thing, 5530 want all-in-one. One is in Arizona where I live part-time and we're in Oregon where I live part-time. I stopped instant Oregon printer ink when I went to AZ last November. I use instant ink program to AZ while there but she stopped this week when I went to Oregon. I tried to restart instantly ink, got an email that it was successful, but can not get all documents to print from laptop to the printer. Yesterday that it said unable to connect to the server and I chatted for two hours with HP on how to solve the problem. It will print the web now compatible congratulations sheet, but if you ask the computer to print, it circles repeatedly and it seems to wake up the printer at all.

    Now:

    1. If the printer is connected to your Mac via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. Click the icon of your Apple system and print and Scan preferences.
    4. Hold down the CTRL key and click the icon of your printer on the left.
    5. Click on reset printing system.

If you removed the USB cable, connect. Otherwise:

    1. Click the more in the lower left corner.
    2. Select your printer from the list.
    3. In the box titled use select your printer in the list.
    4. If you have an option to choose a name or location for the printer, enter a name such as Oregon. This should help you and your Mac to make the difference between your two printers later.
    5. Click on Add.

Yes, you can un-register instant ink at any time if it does not meet your needs.  Once you cancel the instant subscription of ink, you will need to install the standard cartridges.  The printer won't take ink cartrdiges snapshot if there is not an active subscription. • Instant ink - can't register - HP staff please help!

I'm in England and have a prepaid instant ink. The code I have not is invalid on the site. I am now at my wits end - I lost two evenings trying different solutions to get me registered, I sent a support request by email (response: telephone helpdesk) after 3calls with the helpdesk at great expense. Telephone assistance service was unable to connect to instant and promised ink team a reminder - guess what? He never came!

    Hello

Unfortunately, it seems that your email you used to register with the instant the ink program got connected as a U.S. account and not UK, so the experience that you have received as described.

The solution is to re - register with a new email address or Alternatively if you want to keep your existing e-mail address, I can send you a message private to gather a few details and working on re-configuration of your e-mail for account registered you for the service of the ink snapshot.

  • ENVY 4520 All - in - One Printer: Instant ink still holding!

    Hello

Our small company recently signed for the package monthly instant ink and we have lack of ink about a week ago. We received an email confirming that the ink is on its way; However 5 days later it still not been received and according to delivery it is always carried to the "country of destination" (which is the UK), even though it was 3 days ago.

We are a new company and have been left without ink for almost a week now, so we are obviously not satisfied with this plan 'Snapshot' of ink!

First of all, it seems to come from the Netherlands (Holland) - why?

Second, how long should we wait between our exhausted ink and ink replacement being sent/received?

    Thank you

    Vicky

  • 5540: Instant ink

I got my new printer yesterday, and only 31 pages a4, its now say its out of ink.

I am a member of ink instant on the 300 pages per month

But as I've only had my printer yesterday (Friday) not much so good already missed

How long I'm going to get my new inks please?

    Hi @Psmith1958.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you are part of the instant ink program and receive a low ink warning. I would like to help.

The ink must be done before that you miss. Although it normally does not take account that someone is going to run out of ink in a day. With most printers, when you subscribe to instant ink, it takes up to 10 business days to receive the initial welcome package. The welcome kit consists of cartridges that are different than those bought in stores. Normally the service (and billing) will not start until one of the cartridges of the welcome package is installed in the printer. In this case, I recommend buying a non subscription cartridge. You can then hold off on using the cartridge of the subscription (and the billing cycle) until the ink is necessary.

There is the other hand. Some printers (including some Envy 5540) already have instant ink cartridges in the box. This means that the service can start immediately. Again, normally the ink happens in time, but if you have used all your ink in the first two days of owning the printer, it is a little difficult to get the ink you that fast. You can always connect to your instant ink account and click the activities tab. Here you will see a delivery option. You can then follow the ink cartridges. If you have a big project coming up you can always reach out to instant ink team and request additional cartridges.

I wonder about the ink cartridges in your printer. They should be good for about 190 pages. You print a lot of photos/pictures? This could explain the ink lasts only a day or two. Fortunately, the instant ink cartridges (labeled 61/301) have a much higher yield.

If you need to call, phone numbers are here. You can also send a Tweet from your instant ink account dashboard.

Hope that answers your question. If it did, that's great! Give us some reinforcements by pressing buttons of solution and laurels, that we will help and others see that we have the answers!

  • hp8630: Instant ink: Over The Limit

I am considering getting the 8630 with instant ink program.  According to my calculations, I'll print between 600 and 1000 pages.  I have two questions.

Can I buy multiple instant cards ink for a machine?  For example the maps on page 3-300.

Is there a limit to how long on my plan, that I can go?  In other words, if I hit 1000 pages, I just get will pay another $ 28 ($ 4 / 100 X 7)?

If I can do the #2 option that is even more profitable to buy cartridges (I think)

    Any comment is appreciated.

The instant the ink plan allows only a printer by subscription and a single subscription by the printer.

You can print 1000 pages per month if you want - Instant ink FAQ page here:

You can print more pages than your deductible maximum to the plan chosen. Once you print your limit regular pages and pages of turnover compared to the previous month, there is a surcharge for the use of additional pages that are purchased in sets of 15, 20 and 25 pages, according to your plan. All additional pages which were not printed roll over to the next month.

  • OfficeJet 4650: Instant ink Error Message

"a blue light flashes on the right.  The screen can be scrolled but cannot be erased.  Printer is connected wireless and answers since 12/01/2016 to instant ink program and recorded three days of printing.

It is apparent from looking at the computer on which the printer does not recognize that it is connected via the wireless.  Don't recharge not software due to the inability to access control panel.  I tried the fact to unplug the printer.  Normally, two computers can print to printer.  Or connects to the printer because the printer does not free Wi - Fi access.

Problem number two: I tried to enter the following tags "4650, instant error of ink, screen lock"and received the error message "the message tags contains the letter H and the letter p" which he did not. "

Contacted the instant ink, after two calls droped and 3 hours, they decided to printer was broken and sent me a new then called back to make sure it has been set up and logged onto the instant the ink account.  It may have taken 5 hours, but the problem has been resolved and I'm retired with a few demands on my time.

I used to have an old hp printer, I think a 3500 with configuration of e-mail hpeprint is possible to transfer this e-mail from the old unused printer which has been recycled and deleted my account to connect some time ago (over a year) to a new ENVY HP e-all-in-one printer 5532 who I just to purchase when you sign up it says email is taken , but I understand that he should be released after six months due to the protection of data.

    Hi moliver2810,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see that you started a second thread the question whether your desire 5532 is compatible with the current snapshot of HP ink program.  You also wanted to know if you can reuse an ePrint e-mail address you had once.

  • Instant ink HP program

I just received an email offering me replacements of ink automatic as required by my printer at $2.99 / mth - plan of 50 pages: $4.99 / mth - plan of 100 pages: $9.99 / month - plan of 300 pages.

When I tried to pick this up, I like it is available in UK and USA - so why do we have sent emails in Australia?

I just tried to buy a black ink and tri-cartouche high yield and will cost me $72,63 minimum, which is a very important difference.

Come on HP - you plugged into the sending of these emails.  Now you must stand by your mistake.

    Hello Laura,

I apologize for any confusion about the email. There was an error on the part of HP where wrong sending emails. Emails were sent to customers who have an account connected HP based in the United States, but he did not remove the printers that are located outside the United States. And unfortunately, at this moment, the moment HP ink will not work with printers in Australia. HP is looking to expand the instant ink to other countries, and we will check back with you as soon as it is available in Australia.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8170: Pending instant ink?

    Hello!

CEN I hope help with this question. I bought my OfficeJet Pro 8170 steeplechase, finished the installation program and is enrolled in the InstantInk no problem. Connected HP says that my printer is online and ready to use, and it is registered to instant ink HP. However, on the printer itself, the display shows he still expects the Onlune Setup progress remaining to be done. It's me invites to go to hpinstantink.com, but I did it, and this site shows me that the recruitment is done so. I can't make the view on the change of printer and I can't turn it off - the printer comes repeatedly prompts to complete the installation even if I already did.

I unplugged the printer and plugged in; Once the printer reconnected to my wireless network, he returned to offer me the options of 'Instant Ink HP no.' or 'Wait '.

Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Is your printer the 8710 Officejet Pro I think the printer is working as my Officejet Pro 8620 - you can sign up for the moment of ink, but the subscription (and charges) will not start until you install one or more instant ink cartridges in the printer.  You should be able to say "No. HP Instant Ink" in the Setup and use installation cartridges until they are exhausted.  When the cartridges of configuration are exhausted, you can replace them with instant ink cartridges and your subscription will start.

If you wish to contact instant ink HP people go to https://instantink.hpconnected.com/ and scroll down the page a bit.  There will be a link to the chat or telephone near the top right of the page

    Hello

Another approach to try is to restore settings factory via SAP:

    1. Go to the integrated Web server and IP address of the printer as 10.10.52.76;
    2. Click on settings-> default settings-> Restore Factory Defaults (see the screenshots below for more details);

  • Instant ink - registered but swapped printer under warranty before activation

I bought a 5530 envy to the United Kingdom and is part of ink right now. The first month was free, so my first payment will be 30 days after activation.

I received my first cartridges but before activation, my printer has been replaced under warranty. Can Howe I transfer the inscription, with the first month free on my new printer? I can't find any information about it anywhere.

    Dear @JonW1

I saw your comments on registrants to instant ink HP with your new printer.

I wanted to just circle back and clarify, when you buy a new printer or get a new one under warranty, you will have to re-register with the HP Instant ink. This will not happen automatically.

If you need assistance or if you have any questions for the operation of the program, the HP 0207 660 0596 customer support line in the United Kingdom.

  • Instant ink: adding a 2nd activation code

I signed up for the instant the ink program when I found the $9.99 / month package registration on clearance for $1! Can I buy more than one kit and add it to my account to extend my subscription to save money? Or I would be able to cancel and then re-register with a new code?

    Hi @Karenkevin16.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have a question about instant registration ink kits. I would like to help.

The registration kit is used to configure the instant the ink account. Additional registration package can be added to the same account. It would be nice/neat, but it was not designed to work this way.

As for the second idea... I have to say maybe. Yes, you can register with a key code and then cancel and re-register with another key. In theory, this will work. I don't know if it will work.

Another thing to keep in mind is that whenever you sign up you will receive a welcome kit. There is a full range of ink cartridges. That more ink will be sent when triggered by the printer. This could lead to a lot of extra ink on the spot. You can always send back extra ink.

Here are some links to documents that can help out you.
