  Unless there is interference from external software or an add-on, Firefox to remember your preferences for your default search engine and can hide the Yahoo Search bar icon.   The processor and my Satellite M30 bus seems to be significantly under speed. According to Windows XP Pro and Solaris Nevada, the processor is clocked at 600 MHz. The frequency of the BIOS, scaling parameter is set to "Still high", and I tried to disable ACPI in the operating system (ensuring no interference on the software side), without result. Power in the Toshiba Power Saver settings are all maxed out, so no scaling should be there either. Intel Processor Identification Utility reports the following:

  Note that the tool uses algorithms to determine the speed, rather than trusting the value returned by the operating system, that one of her aims purposes is testing for fraudulenty CPU overclocked by OEMs. The speed as it is for me is even more disappointing.   You must register or message store corruption and you certainly have interference from antivirus software.  For the latter, see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 .  To resolve the problem, go to file | Identities and establish a new identity.  This will give you a new registry hive and a new bank messages.  Once this works very well, and then click file | Import | Messages and you can import them from the old identity.

  In more of Bruce's response, if you lost messages (and it seems you if messages do not appear) and then check your Inbox for a bak file is a backup of the dbx file that you can restore.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2 and see point 4 on retrieving the messages.  I suspect the problem is due to having interference from antivirus software because it is probably what causes this loss, then see item 3 on this page also, as noted in Bruce.

  Try to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  There is likely an inconsistency between what is really there and what think the database is where and who must reconcile the two.  So beware of interference from antivirus software which can cause these issues (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

  Have been using Windows Mail without problem for more than a year.  But after the creation of a Windows Vista mail 'rule' we are no longer able to send or receive any mail either.   According to Bruce, there is no rule that will prevent you from using WinMail.  One of the main issues however interference from antivirus software translates a corruption of the database.  Check if antivirus alteration (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) and also try to compact and repair the database to see if it is resolved to the isssue (use www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

  May be an indication of corruption. Turn off System Restore in Control Panel of configuration/system under Protection System. Then restart and restart the service (recheck it before turn off readers). See if it will then create a restore point.

  If this fails, you probably experience some interference from other software installed on the system. You need to selectively disable the axis of startup programs until the restoration of the system behaves normally.   How do you uninstall and then put it back, it's probably the best way to go about it. If this doesent work then it could be interference in the software of your phone, try it flashes, there are tools that you can easily use for this.

  It is a purely hardware problem where you found the electromagnetic interference of radio signals - you will not be able to solve this problem through software. The only way to try to counteract the effect is to use speakers that armoured cables and even better themselves away to avoid this interference occurs.

  Hi primalb, to see if blocking is caused by one of your extensions, you could try the site Firefox Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

  I understand that you are unable to AirPlay from your Mac to your Apple TV.  Here are some troubleshooting steps that I recommend to go through this problem.

  Get help

  If you do not see the AirPlay icon , make sure that your Apple TV is awake and that it meets the system requirements.

  If you do not see your Apple TV in the AirPlay menu, make sure that your Mac and Apple TV comply with the system requirementsand your software from the Apple TV is updated. Also check your firewall settings:

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click the Firewall tab.
  2. Click the lock icon and enter an administrator name and password.
  3. Click Firewall Options.
