• Network and sharing Center shows not connected, but the computer is connected to the wireless network

  When I open the network and sharing Center, or hold my mouse pointer on the icon of internet connection in the bottom right of the taskbar, it shows that I'm not connected to a network. However, I know that I'm connected to the internet. My internet and e-mail work correctly.   Had exactly the same problem on Windows 7 (win7). Connected to the Internet but the status showing no connection and a red cross on the network icon. Problem has also caused problems to connect to Lync and Office365 along with VPN, which apparently uses the status to check whether the connection is available.

  Apparently, certain permissions gets hurt in the database record and must be fixed using RegEdit. The solution is a step by step and likely to be resolved simply by removing a cache of file using RegEdit and potentially affecting certain permissions.

  I have a Nikon AW130 with active GPS. While previously using iPhotos he always imported the exact location when you import photos. I'm using pictures and nothing appears under location.   Photos will show the locations only, if the computer is connected to the internet after importing the photos.   Names of places in photos are not a great help in navigation.  Most of my photos of sailing is simply display "North Atlantic" or "Sea of Caribbean", such as the location, but the locations of the pins on the map are correct.  And if you export photos Tags the GPS will be integrated. Just, make sure that you enable empbed location information in the Photos of preferences > General.

  You can check if the GPS has been applied by the camera, if you export Photos photos, open in preview. The Info Panel in preview (Tools > Inspector) will tell you the GPS coordinates.

  I'm trying to generate QR codes for our buisness in Indesign CC cards, latest updates installed. I can genereate code without any problem, but if I scan the code with my laptop, I see only the name and phone number. There is no E-mail, no Web page or anything else of the information provided.

  Okay, after some time on tests, the solution's szize is serious, at least in this case.

  If the QR Code is a size 2, 8cm, it can be raead by most QR Code Reader in the App Store.

  So try to stay equal or larger than this size, and you don't have to worry about this.

• VCenter shows a network for a virtual machine that is not associated with any host

  I have a win2k3 VM who at one point had a network assigned to him called "MONITORING".  This network is configured is no longer in the ESXi (5.5) environment.  The virtual machine is connected to a network called "PRD-SURVEILLANCE" which is correct.  It's not really cause a problem, but I can't find a way to get rid of the object of MONITORING network.

  In VCenter MONITORING networks has a VM of 1 meter, the number of hosts of 0.  I also see it in the VM - dialog box, change the settings, but there is no option to remove it.  Profile Image to the virtual machine is version 10 so I can't use the old Client of VI to try to remove it.  I have checked each host and do not see this listed network object.

  I tried to restart the VM, it migration between hosts, changing its network of SURVEILLANCE of PRD to another network and vice versa and close - remove NIC and add a new card network.  MONITORING legacy network still appears in the config.

  For the virtual machine's .vmx file shows that the correct network: ethernet0.networkName = 'RDP-ANALYSIS '.

  Any suggestions on how I can remove the artifact of MONITORING network?

  6. I checked the Windows Mobility Center. Wireless 'tile' was where it should have, according to other messages I saw who were on this subject.   The problem is with the laptop HP Windows Vista family basis.  Since I install the range extender, I can't connect to the network.  He had no problems before you connect the router or other networks to visit other places.  The new network name appears, but when I click it, it says I have to enter the user credentials.  I tried to manually, but the name is taken so I can't make a new and invites me to connect to the network that is established or to connect to a different network.

  In a last attempt, my sister has used the ethernet cable to connect directly to our router.  Next time, she turned on her laptop, she managed to connect to our wireless network and she was not invited to enter credentials.
  In this case, the manual connection helped solved the problem.

• Network and sharing Center will not be open in the Panel

  I've been away from home - where I HSI and it works very well - for a few months, I plugged to the network sporadically awireless (sometimes just bad signal), with a lot of frustration.  A few days ago, I went to a place where I could connect to a hard (secure) wireless network and enjoyed the smooth navigation for about an hour.  Later when I tried to connect to the smaller network, unsecure, I couldn't open my network and sharing Center. Whether from the drawer or the Control Panel, a screen opens displaying nothing, but the circle of rotation.  The TASK MANAGER IS REQUIRED to CLOSE THE PAGE - it will not answer the close box. TM shows the centre network and sharing as 'running', although there is no indication on the screen, except the title and the circle of rotation.

  My laptop is a dv6t Pavilion with Windows 7 (64-bit)

  All the other files in the Panel seem to open and operate normally.
