Is this acceptable?

The photos in this album shows slight oozing on my new Lenovo who sent in lieu of another device with a screen like this and a faulty trackpad.

What do you think? Is this ok?

It is a t440s with slab IPS FHD. This is an improvement on the last screen, but that's not much say.

If it were mine, I would consider the defective screen

  • Is this acceptable CSS for the basic layout?

    Hi there and thank you so much for your help.

    My question refers to this link: http://www.energywa.co.za/layout/

    Is this acceptable CSS coding? I know I'll have the #content with the style classes but do not want to continue with this, if the basic layout is not perfect.

    Thank you so long for your help and advice.

    Kind regards

    Is this acceptable CSS coding? I know I'll have the #content with the style classes

    Why?  It would be quite possible to do not use a single class on this page.

    In general, your CSS is OK.  Here's how I would modify-

    :root html { overflow-y:scroll;}/* this sets scrollbars on for all browsers so that you don't have pages shift when moving between those that require scrolling and those that don't */

    html, body, ul, ol, li, p, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, form, fieldset {     margin: 0;     padding: 0;     border: 0;}body {    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;    font-size: 100.01%;    color: #000000;    background-color: #E2E2E2;    text-align: center;}

    #wrapper {     width: 970px;     background-color: #FFFFFF;     margin: 0 auto;     }

    #topnavigation {     background-color: #7FFF55;     color: #FFFBF0;     margin: 0;     padding: 5px 5px;     text-align: right;     }

    #header {     background-color:#FF0000;     margin: 0 auto; /* without declaring a width, a margin of auto does no good really */          /* a container div has no default margins, so declaring them is redundant */     padding: 10px;     }

    #mainnavigation {     margin: 0 auto; /* see above */     padding: 10px;     background-color: #FFFFFF;     border-bottom: 2px solid #000000;     }

    #content {     float: left;     width: 730px;     background-color: #FFFFFF;     color: #808080;     margin: 5px;     padding: 5px;     text-align: left;     }

    #rightsider {     float: right;     width: 200px;     background-color: #E0E0E0;     margin: 5px;     padding: 5px;     text-align: left;     }

  • 15 seconds for the archiving of newspapers is acceptable?

    As you can see below sometimes it takes up to 15 seconds for the archiving of recovery logs.

    Online redo log switch happens fast however. It takes less than 2 seconds (maybe not fast enough for you guys)

    Question2.
    =========

    For a database in archivelog mode, ALTER SYSTEM ARCHIVE LOG CURRENT and ALTER SYSTEM SWITCH LOGFILE have the same effect. Right? I mean, these two commands request the process archiving to archive the ENT which is currently written to. right?

    It's fast enough, as long as you don't fill all redo it online until you have completed check-in first. This is a round robin, so if you get all the way around to the first which is still more archived, everything stops until it is done.

    The ALTER SYSTEM ARCHIVE LOG CURRENT expected archiver finish archiving, is slower than ALTER SYSTEM SWITCH LOGFILE, perhaps very much so with the largest and redo.

    Just recently, whenever I try to turn on my spectrum HP X 2 detachable off, she, she turns. The F6 Mute button has the light, on which seems to indicate that the device can be on, but the screen is not.

    To turn the unit on, I stuck the power button until the silent witness of F6 turns off, as if he was arrested and then press the power button to restart the unit upwards.

    Someone at - it an idea what could cause this problem or how I could continue on set?

    Thanks in advance.

    You did a great job of troubleshooting before you post your question in the forums of HP. Kudos to you for this. Great job! You're an HP customer, and we greatly appreciate you for doing business with HP. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.

    First of all, it looks like a hardware problem with the device. Some circuits inside that may still be causing the key (Mute) F6 to continue to stay on, even when the machine is supposed to be stopped.

    Let's first try a hard reset: link to: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01684768

    • First of all switch off the unit and unplug the charger.
    • Hold down the power and buttons to Mute (on the right side of the Palm) for 8 to 10 seconds.
    • Then turn on the unit to check if the situation is corrected. If it persists, remove the keyboard from the computer after the power off again.
    • Switch on the device to verify if the situation has been corrected.
    • If it continues, please detach the keyboard with the power on and power off the unit. Wait a few seconds and it can save and reattach the keyboard and check.
    • Finally, if all else fails, let the battery drain is completely down and then repeat steps.
    • If it continues then the computer may need to be repaired because it may be a hardware problem with the device.

    I hope this helps. I would like to know how this happens. I really hope that the problem is solved without hassle and the unit works very well. Believe me, I've done everything I can to help by keeping your interests in mind. Please reach out for questions and I'll be there for you help.

  • Pavilion dv7t-4000 laptop: AMD HDMI port on the computer laptop dv7 is lost after free trial Win10 returns to Win7 Home Premium edition

    My laptop was purchased in sept 2010 and runs Win7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit).

    It worked perfectly until June 2016, when the trial version free odious Win10 forced itself on my laptop.  I had no choice, I used Win10 for a day or 2 and then discovered that:

    (1) I lost the audio capability, HDMI port, I use to connect to my TV, and

    (2) the Win10 trial enabled me to return on Win7, I did without delay.

    In my Win 7 restored, everything was fine, except when I have her go in Control Panel to configure / reconfigure HDMI as the default, I couldn't - the element used to appear as "AMD HDMI Audio" is no longer displayed.  I remember a message during the free trial period Win10 that says it has disabled any material incompatible.  Without a doubt, Win10 free trial 'killed' this HDMI/device port, at least audio-wise.

    Today, I always run the same Win7, but I can't have audio HDMI on this port.  When I connect to my TV, the video works.  Win7 Device Manager it shows with an exclamation in yellow, and when I right click to get more details, there is a message saying Microsoft:

    Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52).

    Is there a way to 'get it '?  'this' is AMD HDMI audio.  (and wthout spoil the graphics - that is, video)

    I tried to install the drivers provided by AMD [graphics] and that did not work. The Internet from AMD website says that the audio drivers are included in the package for graphics drivers.  There is also a huge confusion in the way these low level items are named/described: ATI and AMD, because they have merged, were used somewhat interchangeably.  I also tried the graphics drivers AMD HP Support Web site specific to my laptop and it has only gotten worse.

    Thank you for your kind attention.

    Hi @ RTX,

    Awesome response. I read the details and depth of your post. I understand that the bios is updated. So you could end up with this update.

    Happens to the other updates. This will be the order.

    1. Uninstalling the driver Chipset and resettlement.

    2 reinstalling and uninstalling graphics drivers

    3. uninstall the sound drivers and reinstall.

    Before uninstalling, you can try to update the drivers supplied by device also Manager and if that market that will be great. Please, do it only if you don't have already done.

    Before uninstalling please make sure that you capture an image of the complete Device Manager window. Take some pictures of your cell phone. Please note the exact device for audio and video chipset drivers. Then, you will need to uninstall it from the Device Manager and install from the support site in the above order so that there is no confusion.

    If nothing works as a last resort, you may need to restore complete system to factory settings. Please backup your files before doing so. This is possible since the recovery of your computer's hard drive partition.

  • HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535: HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535 error Code

    Hello

    I tried to connect my printer to the new wifi and on the printer, the message of this code was displayed.

    You have no idea where is the problem? I rebooted the wifi router, but the result was the same.

    I thank very you much.

    Jan

    Hi @Maxan,

    Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community! I understand that you need to connect your printer to the network wifi and you get an error message. I'll be happy to help you.

    A remarkable work has been done trying to connect your printer to the wifi network before posting your question in the forums of HP. It's always a great pleasure to work with tech-savvy and technically customers sounds like you. Kudos to you for this. I am amazed at your technical skills, and we really appreciate your relationship with HP. We greatly appreciate you for doing business with HP and consider a privilege to share this platform with you.

    For greater clarity, I would need more information to isolate the problem to be hardware or software related.

    Other devices connect without hassle to the same network?

    After restarting the printer without any communication with other devices, you get this error message, or it goes back to the home screen?

    Is it possible for you to try this printer on a different network?

    We will first do a hard reset: as follows:

    • Turn on the printer.
    • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before continuing.
    • Unplug the USB cable to the back of the printer. If your printer has a network or a wireless connection, leave it connected.
    • Remove the cartridges from the printer.
    • With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the printer and the wall outlet or power strip.
    • Wait at least 60 seconds.
    • Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
    • NOTE:
    • HP recommends connecting the power cord printer directly to a wall outlet.
    • Reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
    • Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
    • The printer may go through a warm-up period. The printer lights can blink, and transportation could move.
