IVI driver does not appear in NIMAX

If I was having trouble with one of my devices and it seemed to have occurred after I have updated NIVISA and IVI compliance to the new version 15.  I tried to get back to NIVISA 5.4 and PKI 4.6, which was when it was all working.  I accedentially also uninstalled shared IVI 2.3 components.  Once I had everything installed back (older versions) the NIMAX completely reset and none of my previously installed IVI devices appeared in the fall down to the software tab on the IVI driver session.  I started to re - install them and this seemes to work as they began to re-appear in this drop-down list.  All those who have installed a MSI file restored very well, but those who install with a setup.exe file are not.  I tried to remove and then reinstalling them them and they still do not appear in the drop-down menu.  I tried to fix the modules NIVISA and ICP and still nothing.  Those I'm trying to install is all o-scopes.  Tektronixs.  The tkdpo3, series 3 and 5.

Any thoughts?  I think that there is something in a file somewhere resets does not correctly.

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything and it works fine now.

    Hi denis,.

It appears perhaps with yellow exclamation point in Device Manager? With the code 19 error? I ask this question because I founded this interesting article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

In addition, it would be interesting to know if the drive is seen in BIOS or not because in the worst case, need to replace the disk.

This means that the CD device is dead?

    Hey Micky,

Unfortunately it's probably :-(. You can try to remove the optical drive and then reinsert it into Notepad, and then marketing and see if it is recognized as a new device.

Check also that it is not displayed in Device Manager and if it is remove before trying the above.

  • My DVD drive does not appear in Windows Explorer

This morning my computer ran a scan virus and other things, and when this was done, my computer will not respond to any type of CD.  No DVD, CD or even disks with files stored on them.
When I open windows Explorer, the drive from DVD (e) is not even more appear.  I was wondering how to fix this.

    Hello

Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and

  • Drive external hard drive does not appear under "devices."

    Hello

I just updated my OS to Sierra of MacOS. I have connected my external hard drive (HDD) and it does not appear under "Devices" in my Finder window. It worked fine before the update.

I use a MacBook Pro (end of 2013), currently running MacOS Sierra (Version 10.12). My external HARD drive is a SeaGate Slim SL Media (500 GB).

The external HARD disk appears in disk utility application. He also appears on the about this Mac > system report > USB. I don't know what the problem is, the external HARD disk is identified but does not appear for use in the Finder window.

I read that it could possibly be in mode 'sleep' and putting the MacBook to sleep (while it is plugged into the external HARD drive) and it to wake up again should solve the problem. However, it did not work. No more restarting my MacBook. It was mentioned in another post that it may require extra power, so I attached power adapter and again, without success.

I do not want to clear the contents of the external HARD drive.

Is there a way to get my external HARD drive works as expected with my MacBook?

    Thank you much in advance.

    I also have this problem.

My camera is Macbook Pro 13 "retina 2015 and Seagate Backup more 1 TB (NTFS - Paragon NTFS)

    * Edit *.

My HDD show in report system > hardware > USB

but it does not show in Finder or Desktop.

You do not add a printer driver for printers and Scanners.  You add the printer itself.

The Epson Artisan 50 is not a printer capable of AirPrint, as shown here:

    On AirPrint - Apple Support

(I have an Epson taking is an AirPrint printer, and it works very well with OS X 10.11.5.)

The Artisan 50 printer seems (but not scanner) software in the Apple driver:

Please help and Windows 7 or windows 8.1 PC do the same thing.

    Hello

I found the description of the product of this external HARD disk:

    Product features:
    • USB 3.0 - powered portable add-on storage.
    • Voltage of bus capable USB, no need for AC adapter.
    • Easy to use with no software to install.
    • Adapts to large digital files with spacious storage capacity.
    • Protect your drive (internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology).

    Specifications
    • Capacity: 1.0 TB
    • Interface: USB 3.0
    • Transfer rate: up to 5 Gb/s
    • Speed: 5 400 rpm
    • Average access time: 12ms
    • Cache buffer: 8 MB

It is a HARD USB 3.0 drive. No doubt the HARD drive is not recognized correctly in windows exploerer due to the low power.
The USB 2.0 port common feeds only 500mA. The USB 3.0 device must be able to 900mA.
Therefore, it would be advisable to connect this 2 ports USB 2.0 HARD drive with a USB Y cable

Can you help me to fıx it. I have very important files. Thank you

    Best account.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the problem is that you have installed the WD (WD Unlocker) software. On a Mac, you should not install all software 'smart' to manage external dives.
