  • USB drive will not appear in the finder, but is OK in disk utility

My "music backup" external USB 1 TB SSD showed in the Finder, until a few days ago, when he disappeared. I tried dismantling and Assembly of the command line. The said command-line editing is successful, but I still don't see the drive in Finder.

If I go into disk utility "First aid" reports no problem. The drive is formatted for OS X.  If I right click and say "Open in the Finder" I can see all the folders and even drag in the sidebar where they work, even after a reboot. I can't see the drive at a higher level.

How can I fix it? I guess a solution would be to create a folder called "Music disc" and then move all files on the disc in it and then put it on the sidebar, but it seems silly. How can I get my hard drive appears again in the finder.

PS Si I use a third-party file manager, such as ordering a PRO, the USB drive is available for selection in the drop-down list of disks attached.

  • USB drive is not Accessible

Not really a problem of Windows, but someone probably has an answer anyway.

I was creating a USB bootable by using Diskpart. During the formatting operation, I had a power outage and now the drive is inaccessible.

I tried a number of programs of recovery, but without success. Is there anything else I can try?

I could go out and buy a new drive, but the Scots says me I have to try to recover this one first. :-)

When I plug in my flash drive to my usb ports that nothing happens.  When I go to the library and click on the drive that I get so bad "inaccessible", "access denied" message.  Same thing when I plug in my camera.  Any port that I use is the same.  When I put my SD card in the port, it will be not open either - same message.  Help is appreciated.

    Hi @JayN4RBY,.

I understand you are trying to reinstall the software from the CD of the printer and you get the error message
"The system meets the installation requirements. The software does not support this version of windows". I can help you with this.

It might be a problem with the resolution of the screen. Change it in 1024 x 768, true color (32 bit), 60 Hertz. (must be at least 800 x 600)

"The resolution of the computer screen is defined under the minimum required...". "Message appears on the computer during the Windows Installation.

Make sure you always have Internet Explorer installed on the computer, the HP software registry to Internet Explorer.

Minimum Internet Explore 6 or 7.

You can try to work around the error system needs, by holding down the control pressed the button/SHIFT key and clicking on the button cancel on the message. It may or may not continue.

Check it. NetFrameworks, to make sure that you have at least 4.5. You can check by going into Add Remove programs.

    Check your DOTNET.

Run all the updates of Windows, if the problem persists, or you need to update the. NetFrameworks.

Let me know how make you out.
