  • After the update of Sierra: not to Disable Trackpad with Magic Mouse connected

    Hello

After that I updated to macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro the Trackpad is not disable mouse connected with Magic.

Feature: MacBook Pro retina 15 inches (end of 2014) on macOS Sierra.

Since the update, I noticed that my stays compatible with my Magic Mouse connected after built-in trackpad window connection.

In system-> accessibility-> mouse and Trackpad preferences, I have not "ignore the built-in trackpad when mouse or trackpad wireless is present". If I switch it off and on again once again, the parameter will be.

However, once I lock the device (user name right-> connection... window) and reconnect, the trackpad works. You must pass the parameter each time.

Is this a bug of Mac OS Sierra (can't find anything) or am I missing something? I am aware that the trackpad is reactivated at the login window, but before it will deactivate after logging in.

I don't use Magic Mouse, but I have USB Wired mouse and I have the same problem since installing Sierra.

I have the box ticked, but I must go and clear the check box and then save.

I have to use a mouse all the time because my trackpad goes haywire and I wasn't able to find a solution for this. It moves its own and open stuff on its own.

  • Wireless connected but cannot display Web page

Hi, I have a HPG7094 laptop with Vista 64 bit installed.

I tried for days to fix my problem. My wireless connection has stopped working. It says it is connected to my wireless - excellent - but when I try to open the internet I get the error IE cannot open the Web page. I deleted my network and tried to re-login only to get the same error. I did a clean install on my laptop and downloaded the drivers on the HP site, but it's always the same.

In the lower RH it says 'Unidentified network' (and the name of my network) access: Local only. If I connect the ethernet cable, it works fine and if I connect my mobile dongle orange it works very well.

I have other laptops and desktop computers and all these connect wirelessly without problem. I have tried to 'fix' the wireless connection and not to renew the period of INQUIRY, still no joy. I connected on the router from my office and changed the channel from "auto" to "6" and "11", but this has no effect.

Someone at - it ideas, what could cause this problem, any help would be highly appreciated.

  • Magic Mouse 2 keeps losing connection

Hi, I use an iMac nine 5 k, v10.11.5 El Capitan

Whenever I use the mouse will randomly lose connection for about 5-10 seconds and then reconnect. It also happens with the keyboard sometimes. More than 90% battery levels

Can I do about it? It really disrupts my workflow.

    Thank you

    Hello miles M.

I'll try to answer your question, but I'll have to make some assumptions.   Unlike many, you have correctly filled out your profile and it helps.

For example;  I see that in addition to the MacBook Pro (running El Cap), you have an iMac (running El Cap) and a Yosemite iMac running.   They are all in the same room a lot of the time, like when your problem occurs?   Then, the mice.   At least one must be Magic Mouse 2, but it will be Magic Mouse 1.   They are close together?   If one of the above is true, it is most likely that you have an interference problem.   And where the mouse is the problem my assumption is the Magic Mouse 2.

The first thing to do is to try to isolate the Magic Mouse the part 1.   Turn off the iMac of Yosemite loaded, remove any tablets Wacom and pens and other and tested of the Magic Mouse 2 with the new iMac.

Now, my imagination is not exact, so where things are differently, let me know so that we can talk our way through it.

By the way since then I lose my connection to the mouse. I get "connection lost" notification even if the mouse is sitting idle without hands even near him. I tried the suggested pieces of paper, battery replacement and any other thing, I found displayed. Nothing works. As I was typing that I got the message several times, and I'm not even using the mouse! I have another computer in another location and plan to try to see if the problem changes switching. I suspected that the additional bluetooth device could be the culprit, but I tried to unplug and had the same results. It is not a problem with another computer running the same operating system, even if a year or two older hardware. The intermittent mouse problem existed before, but I've lived with him because he doesn't seem to be that bad. Now, I have moved and am in an apartment complex and wonder if there is an interference cause me pain. The keyboard has never given me problems and with the exception of the low battery notification, it has worked perfectly.

There is no reason why the iMac should not be able to use a USB mouse. With the mouse connected to the computer off the computer tower and turn it back on. Now it doesn't recognize the mouse? If this is not the case, try a SMC reset.
