  • Windows Vista bluescreen malfunction of the equipment. Possibly from Nvidia.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help fix me my laptop computer malfunction. Two days while my son was playing world of Warcraft graphics becomes very blurry and grainy and the system shuts down completely, prompting a BSOD to appear. The blue screen said that Nvidia has been the cause of the problem, but even after an attempt to safe mode to remove Nvidia and reboot, the problem still persists then the first time worse. We have tried many things and nothing seems to return the computer to normal.

  • I disconnected cable PCI-GPIB (desktop disabled) to move the equipment, once reconnected and restarted Desktop, I can't connect to the instruments more (OS Windows XP)

    Hi people,

I hope someone can help me with this problem. I am running a Windows XP operating system where I have recently been using a NI PCI-GPIB to connect to instruments. The other day, I had to turn off the desktop computer to disconnect the GPIB cable to move the material furniture - I do not remember if I had turned off equipment that were connected via GPIB cable before removing the GPIB cable from the desktop.

Although I came to notice that he was in loose in the socket connection that it can be disconnected from the never removed the GPIB card slot. Now with etc-reconnected GPIB cable is unconnected with the instruments via the software I use--I don't see the equipment listed on MAX either. I had NEITHER-488. 2 installed v2.8 and following this issue and various changes to try to solve it (for example, move to another location, System Restore to previous restore point I knew the connection work etc.). I upgraded to 2.8.1 V and still the same issue.

In Device Manager, there is a pilot 'unknown device' I have tried to update and no will - I even tried him assigning driver for the NI PCI-GPIB card that seemed to have worked but still no will.

    Appreciate your help on this.

    Chris

have you checked that the GPIB card is secure in its niche in the PC?

Well the other day something blue screened but froze during this process and seeds of graphs in this screen. Corruption and blocks appeared and disappeared. I was forced to close during the blue screen as something bigger was not working for the crash dump process, it stood at 0%.

To restart the device display lights, and no noises are made beeps indicating a problem. The Bluray makes his usual preparation sounds it does every time you start upward. He's sitting with a white screen which seems not even to be turned on. The only other indicator is the key caps lock flashes several times and turns off, then blinks several times and turns off, repeating this sitting here...

What part is probably dead on this sucker? CPU? DRAM? Motherboard? Graphics card? How badly can I turn if he doesn't...

  • Malfunction of the power on the Satellite Pro 4270

I have a problem with my AC adapter (model PA3049U-1ACA): my 4270 Pro Satellite ceased to get power and it worked only with the battery. I have this problem only twice in the last 6 months, but the other times, the problem has been resolved just remove and reinsert the plug in the notebook. Instead this time it does not work.
How will I know if the problem is due to a broken adapter or a faulty connector "DC in"?
I searched online for a new AC adapter but I found only "compatible" adapters: they are good or if I should get an original?

There is another problem: yesterday the internal modem no longer works: would it be a consequence of a failure of the power started yesterday?

[Edited by: admin on 12 February 06 17:24]

    Hello

Original AC adapter has this part PA2450U number. If the compatible one has the same characteristics and the same connector, there should not be any problem, but I personally prefer original parts. After you have connected the original adapter, you will be able to check whether the slot is maybe defective.

As far as I know the modem functionality depends on many things (configuration, hardware malfunction) and control first entry in Device Manager. Please report the status of the modem in Device Manager.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A200-1AG - malfunction of the built-in keyboard

    Hi all

Update of the BIOS Toshiba Satellite A200-1AG, but the model was wrong, she was PSAE6E and should be PSAECE.

So everything works ok, external USB keyboard, but using the built-in keyboard certain keys fail IE:

    pressing on * e * key I get "egg".
    pressing on * i * key I get "egg".
    pressing on * 3 * key I get "38".
    pressing on * 8 * key I get "38".
    pressing on * d * key I get "d".
    pressing on *, * key I get "d".

I used a software to quickly show the key and I all 2 keypreses cases are shown.

When I reflash / update the correct BIOS, the problem persists.

This happens in windows under linux OS.

What I could do, I think it's a software / BIOS firmware error (+ could be bios code of the keyboard microcontroller? +), but I'm not sure.

I read some comments SLIC and bios MOD, but it is more difficult for me to understand. I don't know how and if it could be useful.

    Assistance may be useful.

    Thank you

    > So everything works well, also external USB keyboard, but the built-in keyboard some keys fail IE:

This is not a BIOS problem
You said that external keyboard work correctly, this means that keyboard controller and BIOS is OK, but in your case the internal keyboard started to malfunction
This means that the internal keyboard needs to be replaced

By the way: you can not Flash the BIOS to NOT compatible version fact is that the update of the BIOS supports some sort of protection, and the update process wouldn't start using bad BIOS.

  • Equium A100 - malfunction of the laptop keyboard

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100 and when I press u on the keyboard on that I get 8u, when I I I ki, press o, I get lo, press press 2, I get w2. I checked the keyboard for defects on the cable to the motherboard, also shortcut keys off.

I tried an external keyboard and it worked well. I ended up buying a new keyboard which worked well for a while, and then all of a sudden, he started doing the problem mentioned earlier.

I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled it but no difference. I am running Windows XP Home SP3.

I hope someone can shed some light on this problem.

    Thank you.

    > I tried an external keyboard and it worked well. I ended up buying a new keyboard which worked well for a while, and then all of a sudden, he started doing the problem mentioned earlier.
You bought the new keyboard and it solved the problem for a while.
    Well, in my opinion, there are two possibilities;
You had a great misfortune and the new keyboard started to malfunction too, or there is something wrong with the keyboard on the mobo controller.

But it's just my personal suggestion and if you want to know what's not exactly then you should ask a Toshiba ASP in your country for a control of the laptop.

By the way; I hope that you use the latest version of the BIOS.

  • Malfunction of the mouse to a software problem?

I have a desktop Dell 32 bit PC running Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2.  For several days, I have been a few problems: when I handle the mail, if I click to remove a particular email sometimes one or two adjacent emails will be deleted.  When I write a note and skip a letter in a Word and go to make a correction using the slider, rather than let me do an insert, the nuances of software the letters to the right or left of the way we use it to delete a Word.  If I keep clicking the mouse and moving the slider back later, I'll get Gets the insert arrow.  Also, when I click on the message in the Inbox in addition to seeing the message dispalyed in its usual position below, I also get a second copy of it in a second window "average" that covers partially the first copy.  Although frequent, it does not invariably.  The latter problem also occurs when I use my word processor.  I thought that, maybe, my software is corrupted but then maybe his equipment.  Any ideas on that?  Thank you...

    Hi sjh001,

    1. what email software do you use?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    3. what type of mouse you are using?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

As a work around, I would suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you connect a different mouse to the computer and check if the problem persists.

    I hope this helps!

Is it possible to use the CD of hardware for installation with the unit while I'm using the correct equipment. Or is it recommended to install from scratch and apply the updates of security on the Unity software page.

    Thank you

    Tim

I think that you are writing about Hardware configuration CD of the CallManager. If you are, then this is a NO-NO.

You need the disks of the Platform Configuration that is provided with the server if you have purchased the license for the windows 2000 Server.

So, if you don't have the disks in the Configuration of the platform, you can download the driver from HP hard drive controller and install Windows manually. Install SP4, IE6 Sp1 and you can use automatic Windows Update If you follow this guide:
