network name plus a number

I have several computers on the same network (7 to 9 depending on what time it is), and for some reason any two computers constantly, every few hours, causing network drop I reset the adapter to connect to the internet.  Add two computer extra number in the name of the network (network name plus a 2 or 3).  One of the computers with the change in network name is wired and the other is wireless.

Same network; the business environment; email, internet, and MSO. web standard restrictions; secure router

I merged the two networks and it seems to have solved the problem of network name, but I don't know what they face the problem in the first place.

  • Sync Center stops the error: the specified network name is no longer available

Original title: stops Sync Center sync every time there is an error?

The error is still "the specified network name is no longer available." Sync stopped with offline files. So I hit ignore and restart the synchronization. This happens about every minute during synchronization. I'd rather just complete synchronization what it can that stop all the time and I have to restart manually. Anyone knows any solution or what does the error message mean?

I had a similar error.  This seems to be a function of the indexing of offline files when you synchronize a large number of files.  By temporarily disabling indexing of offline files, you can synchronize all your files and then re - activate the indexing.

To disable indexing, clear the checkbox 'offline files' under control panel > Indexing Options.  Then synchronize as usual and re - activate when you are finished.

    I hope this helps.

Potentially, Yes. If your printers are wireless, then you will need to reconfigure with new wireless network name to connect.

  • New ThinkPad T460p just arrived - the product name and serial number missing from the outside of the machine

This page shows where the product name and serial number should supposed to be on my ThinkPad: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/find-product-name?cid=EDM_2016_NA_US_PP_SUPPORT_V2&RRID=1014681098&...

However, any of these are displayed on the outside of my machine anywhere.

I happen to know the product name and serial number. I was able to find other ways - that is not the issue. As far as I know, these physical labels should have with the machine.

Was it simply a mistake during Assembly, or Lenovo just stopped putting on these labels? If the first case, is there a way to ask Lenovo send me these labels? If the latter, Lenovo might consider updating the page linked above.

Any inisight would be duly appreciated.

    Nicholas

My T460p shows the T460p at the bottom right of the screen and the serial number and the code of the product under the battery. But the T460 is very dark on the corner of the screen, and Seraglio/product numbers appear on the very dark black label under the battery.

Then after about 60 seconds, connect waiting for DSL modem for sink power cord. Then plug the router after sink connect the router to the modem, and then connect the hub and other devices. • Network names

I have a router Linksys E2500.  Is it possible to have a network name for the secure network and a different network to the network of comments name?  The idea is to not have the SSID of the network broadcast while allowing the SSID of the network to be broadcast.  With the convention of adding just "invited" by the end of the SSID of the network, it beats the security option do not have secure network broadcast SSID.

Unfortunately, many have asked again this feature was never implemented.

  • Laptop WiFi problem, «identifying...» (network name) ».

    Hello
I'm having a problem with the wireless on my laptop. Its a HP Pavilion dv6000 and just under a year of age. I had no problems with the wireless until recently. I use the laptop at home and usually the internet is very well (apart from the occasional disconnection), but when I'm at school do frequently connect to the school network (I am a student of the University, and there are several routers throughout the school and in the many buildings). Sometimes it will connect in one building and I'll switch to another and it does not connect. Each time, he does not connect it always says "identifier...". (wireless network name) ». No amount of repair, restart or reset the network card it won't connect. The strange thing is that sometimes it connects to the router in this building (i.e. library) and sometimes it won't. Whenever I have check the status shows that the laptop is received but does not send do not.

Help! This problem is really starting to annoy me and I don't want to end up throwing my laptop on the whole of the library.

    Hello

1st brand one Restore Point so that you can return back if necessary (it shouldn't be though).

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Do another restore Point then you can go back to where you were if necessary with new active pilots.

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

I would like to delete ALL networks, so you can restore if necessary.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the
others you don't use anymore) - REBOOT. Start - Connect To log on to the network.
