New C310 while a printer does not print does not correctly

I have a new printer C310.  When I installed the printer, everything worked very well.  I have not used the printer for two days.  Does not now print.  I tried to align the cartridges and it fails.  I followed the instructions to check the cartridges, replace them again in the printer and unplug the printer.  I still can not align cartridges and I just get streaks of color when I print.  Any ideas what to do or should I return the printer.  Not sure why it worked the night fist and now will not.  One last thing, I put various paper and it's recycled paper.  It would make a difference?

This looks like a firmware issue. It is possible that the firmware update has failed. If you have not given the unit try the following steps:

Install a firmware update

Looking for a firmware update that could help solve the problem:

  1. On the product control panel, tap the Setup icon ().
  2. Support on the Web .
  3. Tap the updates .
  4. Touch of the product updates .
  5. Tap Yes to update. The update can take 10 to 20 minutes. Do not turn off the printer until the update is completed. The printer will stop and automatically start up.

    Unfortunately I can not know what setting is not correct. The error occurs only for "Yellow" to "Red". No idea what is wrong or what did I miss?

    Strange, as far as I know there is no beta 6R2 for now.

    Yes, it should work.

    You might find some clues in the vpxd.log.

    Otherwise, use Onyx to check what really happened to the methods.

    My Hp Photosmart 7510 e - all - in - one... I replaced the yellow cartridge XL 564 and I am getting yellow streaks... when printing a report, yellow is barely noticeable, with black stripes.

    Is this a faulty new cartridge?  Help, please!

    DUH!   A senior moment here... I pulled out the yellow ink cartridge replaced by another new... at that moment, I realized the orange tab 'pull' was still attached.   Once I got his shot and re - insert the cartridge, it was fixed!

    So, you have a problem with Picasa. You should contact them.

    I also quite what your note 'Wireless' has to do with the question. Maybe it's because you have yet to provide a lot of information...

    Contact the society of the printer.  There is nothing that Microsoft or Windows, can do to force the printer to accept a type of paper, though it says it will not accept it.

  • HP Deskjet 812c - CMY new cartridge (HP 23) - yellow does not print (but it is)

    Yes, I know... it is a dinasour printer but it has been a workhorse for me since I bought it when it first came out (1998!). I use it often, but she remained loyal.  Judged non HP cartridges, but they are not as good, so PLOPPED down the money for a cartridge HP 23 CMY legitimate again.  Expiration date: December 2013.

    I can see the streaks of ink for all 3 colors on the head of nozzle/so that means there are in there, and all the rest print - C M and K, but not of Y. I tried some old cartridges that I forgot to recycle in the hope that I could get some of them out of one of them though but weak , but that no longer works.

    I also tried to print from more than one program and Windows 7 generic print test page in the case where there are a few color program setting somewhere that was the cause.  Banned, same result overall. I swab clean the nozzle/head, lined up, even began.  Always without Y.

    I wonder itf it's a question of management of system colors, although if there are streaks on copper head of the 23 HP where it meets the surface of the paper, it seems to be working, just do not hit the paper.  Electric prods on the printer which meets the back of the eye of the cartridge clean too.

    Maybe it's a cosmic hint to get a new printer, but I live on a fixed income from social security and every penny counts. I paid too just for a new cartridge.

  • Just bought new 4-pack ink & printer does not print.

    I understand that you have purchased 4 new ink cartridges and now 3 of them are showing low ink. Since how long have you bought these ink cartridges? How much impression were you running after the installation of these ink cartridges?

    If you bought these cartridges with a reasonable amount of time, and you need to print many documents, then I would try the following steps:

    (1) Please plug this printer into a live wall, not a surge protector

    (2) take away all your ink cartridges

    (3) disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer (do not press the power button)

    (4) wait 60 seconds or more

    (5) plug the power cord into the printer. Wait for the printer turn on completely

    (6) now install the ink cartridges. Please check if the ink level is always the same

    Also, try to clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridges. I'll give you a document HP here.

  • C310 Wireless of tables print does not correctly?

    We have a new C310 wireless that my wife and I use our Toshiba laptops to connect and print wireless.  We use Windows 7.  Everything seems to work fine until we try to print a MS Word document that contains a table.  When we do, the rows of the table are compensated and tortuous.  Lines go straight for about half an inch, then the spacing is off by just an anti-eraflures of lines a half inch, then back to continued straight.  It also causes printing up and down the page in line with where the lines are crroked, which would be offset.

    We tried to align the cartridges, clean, do the print list print status, everything we can think of.  If I print the same docs across our older printers HP, tables and averything else print correctly.

    Any ideas?

    It sounds like you are using 'Fast draft mode' print settings.  Try replacing 'Normal' or 'Best' when you print documents with tables.

  • HP Photosmart Plus B210 Series new magenta ink cartridge prints do not at all

    First of all, I had a problem with my cyan ink on my printer HP Photosmart B210 series. The problem was that he was not the impression and he says it wasn't printing because of the cartridge and also I had to align my cartridges. Whenever I tried to align the cartridges he says that alignment does not so I ended up trying to align them so much that I have exhausted all my ink and went out to buy all new cartridges.

    When I installed new cartridges and tried to line up once again, they all worked perfectly, but when I went to print a photo, the magenta was not yet appear. I did another test called 'Print diagnostic Information' and the magenta box is completely blank 100%. When I went to see the "estimated ink levels" he said it was perfectly fine. I tried to print a picture of a square while magenta box and the printed page was completely empty.

    Basically... How can I get my printer to recognize the new magenta cartridge because it is not currently.

    I'd say running up to three cycles of cleaning the printer before driver or Panel box tools.  If this doesn't get the magenta, then you can try soak the print head, as described here.

    [edit] Know that the ink gauge is probably not at this point clear - especially the printer like that it has printed pages of magenta at this stage, while the ink is still in the cartridge.  The ink gauge will indicate less ink cartridges is actaully available.

    After you run the print doctor, cleaning and aligning the print heads that it is still print does not correctly. the first page comes out perfect so the print quality gets worse, with bits wilted and things missing. just print a page of print quality and black looks at all and the first steps of pink and yellow are strong, blue stripes and then 2nd very faded pink and yellow bar.
    any ideas?

    This morning, I tried to print on my new windows machine 8 and nothing won't print on the paper. After installing the software again and do diagnostic tests included in the HP Solution Center, and then he managed to print the letter, but a few sentences where not correctly printed (I mean he had white lines in it.).     It seems to me that your new ink was not registered or maybe the black part of the print head is clogged.  Alignments fail when the ink is not printing.  I understand your printer not print black ink even if you have a new ink cartridge, but I'd like to as you follow the instructions on what to do if you get a "misalignment" error message on the printer because this document covers a large number of measures which would not be separate documents in the case.

    The best way to narrow down the exact problem you are having is by going to the Setup menu (key button) and going to the "Print report" section and by printing a 'self-test report.  This report will tell you exactly what ink cartridge is out if no.  If the ink prints on this page then, it may be something to do with the computer or its connection.

    Read and try to clean the print head by going to the Setup menu (key), by selecting 'Tools', then 'Cleaning print head' If you print this test page and your black is still out.  Other error messages appear before you changed the ink cartridge?  For example, have you seen a message like "Out of Ink" and that's why you changed the ink?  I hope that I can help you!

    I am trying to connect my new HP Photosmart Plus printer to my wireless router.  The router works fine with my IPhone and two portable and had no problem of wireless connection to them.  I can't solve the problem.

    Sometimes Internet service providers have more control over the router like the printer.

    -Unplug the Internet line, which runs between the router and the wall
    -Cut the power to the router, wait 30 seconds, then turn on the power.
    -Go through the normal process of the printer connected to the router.
    -Now to find the IP address of the printer (it should be on the self-test printout), type it in a browser.
    -On this screen, you will find a tab management network, then on the left wireless, then the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you do not know, use the current IP address.
    -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Enter IP router (on the self-test printout) for the bridge and the first DNS.
    -Let the second white.
    -Click 'apply '.
    -Finally, plug the Internet line, restart the router and the test.

    Thank you all for your support and your help to try to solve this problem, but on a hunch, I looked again the printer cartridges and found that the Black-light cartridge was defective, all prints come out now as it should.

  • deskjet2130: hard to get my new 2130 office jet printing on mac

    Hi there-

    I got a new usb cable and printer.

    I have pluged in there, I added the printer to the mac in the System Preferences folder as needed. I also installed the driver from HP (version 1.5)

    but I can not print, not even a test page.

    When I click on print file can be see in the print queue, send, it says 0% it disappears then - but the printer does not react.

    When I open "completed jobs" all items I've tried printing appear here - although no print in fact.

    What on Earth is happening (or not as the case may be)?

    as it's a mac nothing assistance Advisor on the hp site seem to be applicable - and I can't use the support site, because I'm in Germany and this was bought here - I can only contact personal support using German - and I do not speak German!

    any advise?

  • HP Deskjet 1000 color printing not correct

    I have a MsacBook computer Pro, installed the driver for the HP Deskjet 1000 and installed new cartridges black #122 and color n ° 122.

    Now when I print, the colors are not correct.  Fate red yellow and Brown leaves green.

    The printer has worked before on my old Mac, but does not work on my new MacBook Pro.

    Help!

    The symptoms you describe would be compatible with a color cartridge that is not correctly print magenta.  In the paper here troubleshooting steps can help solve the problem.

    If the above does not solve the problem, then remove the color cartridge and gently pat dry the printhead on a damp cloth.  A good cartridge will have a strong task of cyan, magenta and yellow.  I suspect that your cartridge will be only the cyan and yellow.  In this case, you can check the warranty as stated in the paper here assuming that the cartridge is an original HP.  If the cartrdige is a third party charging/reman, then contact your dealer for a replacement.
