No buffer does not.

An exe for e-book, downloaded from cnet.com, tried to open it with block notes, but Notepad does not and also when I click on "Close the program and ask for help from web", the dialog box disappears instantly without get web help. Is there a problem with the operating system - window Home Vista Basic, block notes or with the downloaded exe file.

Hello

Cannot open EXE (executable) files with Notepad. EXE files can be opened by their respective applications. You must find the application using the EXE file that you have. Notepad is a basic text editing software and it is most commonly used to view or edit text files. A text file is a file type, usually identified by the .txt file name extension. Notepad cannot open a file that exceeds the 54 kilobytes (KB) and does not allow you to continue editing a file if the size of the file reaches between 45 and 54K.

    cforte,

It seems that this model for the AD8031 (and variations of the AD8032) in Multisim v12 has a few problems and is incorrect, however, in the update version for the AD803X model it looks like has been updated (in future updates of Multisim it should be fixed).

In the meantime, here's an updated version of the AD8031 for you and others:

  • Does not clear the PDM buffer

I use TDMS written and PDM rinse functions in a state machine application. I write to TDMS in two States and rinse after every write.

Worth that I will have is that hunting TDMS takes the time to write data on the disk, but does not seem to fade from the buffer, such as duplicate data following emptying. Interestingly, this happens only for a single State.

The first State, which has no problem, writes 30 items in each of the 16 channels, writes an element for each channel during each iteration of a loop and a I have FLUSH after I exit the loop.

The status of the second loop is more critical time, so writing TDMS is that after the exit of the loop, and I store the data between the two in a shift register to write. I have create a new name and group every time I write to PDM data is duplicated in each new group corresponding to the State second, but not the first State. The second State writes a variable number of items in each of the 7 channels, but an equal number of each channel.

States managed in a 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, model 2, so I'm confused why it is rinsed and the other is not.

    Any ideas? Thank you!

I guess the shift register that you use makes these messes are you compensation/Overwriting the shift registers. Anyway if you can put the code it would be then is to find the problem.

  • Buffer SQL commands (get, run, save, etc.) in Developer SQL does not?

    I am a developer SQL 3.1.07.42 Windows 7 64 bit with java 1.7

    I have c:\test.sql that contains
    PROMPT Working
    and c:\testscript.sql that contains
    set echo on
    set serveroutput on
    /
    GET c:\test.sql
    SAVE c:\test_working.sql
    LIST 1 LAST
    RUN
If I open a new worksheet and type:
    @\testscript.sql
    then press F5, I get:
    @\testscript.sql
    set serveroutput on
    /
    GET c:\test.sql
    SAVE c:\test_working.sql
    LIST 1 LAST
    RUN
If the c:\test_working.sql is not created and the content of the script is not executed.

What I am actually trying to do here (and maybe you guys have a better idea) is to capture the output of the sql command that appears on the client, send it to the server, treat it somehow and then do everything with her (she log in my case).

For example (a very simple example from my scripts).
    spool c:\temporary.tmp
    create table test();
    spool off;

    get c:\temporary.tmp
0 begin insert into logtable (msg) (trim('
    100 ')); end;

    save logit.sql

    @'logit.sql'
the idea is to be able to save the output of any control block / anonymous plsql in a way that can be sent to the server for processing (this is for most mistakes, of course).
I can intercept DBMS_OUTPUT turning SERVEROUTPUT then a DBMS_OUTPUT. ACTIVATE and finally using DBMS_OUTPUT. GET all the lines and the process/log them, but I have not found a way yet to catch the rest of the "TERMOUT' of treatment other than the queue, but even then, I couldn't find a way to get the local file (content) on the server; and this idea GET/SAVE/RUN appeared to be feasible but its does not work (I even tried interactively, but maybe I'm doing something wrong).

Any ideas/suggestions on the topic are welcome.

    Thank you.

  • Toshiba Canvio Basics HARD drive does not appear in my computer

    Hello

I have a HDTB110AK3BA - Toshiba 1 TB Canvio Plus Portable Hard Drive for storage 3.0 Basics and the computer will allow it to connect, but it does not appear in my computer / pc is in Device Manager thought but not my pc

Please help and Windows 7 or windows 8.1 PC do the same thing.

    Hello

I found the description of the product of this external HARD disk:

    Product features:
    • USB 3.0 - powered portable add-on storage.
    • Voltage of bus capable USB, no need for AC adapter.
    • Easy to use with no software to install.
    • Adapts to large digital files with spacious storage capacity.
    • Protect your drive (internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology).

    Specifications
    • Capacity: 1.0 TB
    • Interface: USB 3.0
    • Transfer rate: up to 5 Gb/s
    • Speed: 5 400 rpm
    • Average access time: 12ms
    • Cache buffer: 8 MB

It is a HARD USB 3.0 drive. No doubt the HARD drive is not recognized correctly in windows exploerer due to the low power.
The USB 2.0 port common feeds only 500mA. The USB 3.0 device must be able to 900mA.
Therefore, it would be advisable to connect this 2 ports USB 2.0 HARD drive with a USB Y cable

  • What does not restart in the FFT functions way?

    Hi all

I would like to know what that "restart average" made for the FFT functions. According to aid,"reboot on average indicates if the VI restarts the process chosen medium." If restart on average is set to TRUE, the restart of the VI the selected with an average of process. If reboot on average is set to FALSE, the VI does not restart the process chosen sprawl. The default value is FALSE. When you call this VI for the first time, the averaging process restarts automatically. A typical case when you need to reboot on average is when a major change of entry occurs in the middle of the averaging process"

I realized that the FFT function takes in an array of values and perform the FFT on it. If the FFT function keep a buffer previous values and clears when restart average = true? Because the FFT functions are not Point by point and they take both in all the data to deal with, "a major change of entry occurs in the middle of the averaging process" can be true?

    Thank you!

Sigh.  I really tried to explain what was going on (probably) with this function, you use (and, I thought naively, you understand), but you got me wrong.

This VI creates a zero average noise signal, providing 1024 points per second.  Do you know what should be the power spectrum of the signal?  Due to the randomness of the input signal, the power (for a small finished sample) spectrum will also have a random component.  If you had several ghosts of power on average, the average would begin to converge with the expected for random noise power spectrum.

If you run this VI and look at the Spectra resulting (on average), you will notice that the first spectrum is the most "spice" and that spectra are averaged, the variation is reduced and diminishes the value of crete (shown by looking at the scale of Amplitude).  At any time, you can press "Reset average" and see this... reset the average, the following spectrum shows the growing nose, etc.

It shows the right way to test the function of the power spectrum and discover what he does. My suggestion as to what makes this function seems to be largely correct.

  • Subvi randomly does not work

    Hello world

I feel very odd behavior of LabView and hope you could help us. I use a DLL to connect to, in writing, reads in and finally to disconnect a USB HID device.

First step: init, sending a KeepAlive message, works very well (99% of the time)

second step: getVer, ask to get the version of the device. There lies the problem. My SubVis reading and writing are the same in the two routines. In any case, in the GetVer routine, sometimes the writing part does not work. The DLL called tell me, 64 (the input buffer size) bytes written and returns a success message. Problem, it is nothing really has been written to the device. (I have another program to check the flow of the DEVICE to the pc and there is no answer / the Subvi waits for the input of the unit and there is none).

Someone at - it already had a problem like this, where date does not have to be transported correctly? (Sometimes it works without any problems, I don't know how that could be possible.)

If I have missed out on anything whatsoever, tell me please, thanks in advance...

    Kind regards

  • Run VI Invoke node: VI works, EXE does not work?

It is LV2009 without patches or updates. I call buffer.vi of static reference with a collection of nodes to invoke to run a VI. I don't have a very good reason for it, but don't want this code on the block diagram. I can't wait to put a lot of effort in this since I can just drag the code on the main scheme and I am sure it will work, but I do not understand why it gives me error 1000: VI not in a State compatible with this operation?

In the EXE file, when I check the status of the execution of the buffer.vi until I say it runs, sometimes bad. Same code in VI, sometimes slow. I also tried to replace the static VI reference with a reference open VI by using the name of the buffer and received the same error message. I have the buffer VI included in the compilation under always included.

So I was building an example of project because I didn't post all, boredom was the example ON what EXE has no error. WTF. Then I realized that I had another call from node in the boot sequence. OOPS. I put that in there thinking that the only way it would be mistake was if the VI was running before he called, in this case I wanted an abortion there. It turns out also-error (1044 locked VI) when running in an EXE file, even if this particular node using says he works with the runtime. SO, he tried to abort a VI that was not working. The initial error, 1000, just said not compatible with call node state, did not say that one.

Yes, sorry for the trouble and thanks for the help. Maybe someday I'll understand the problem that I was led to this, guess who is the fact that I can't debug EXEs. Kind of, I think it has something to do with an XControl I always use it because they always appear as corrupted files just before that the debugger fails. Anyway, thanks again, I'll plug that into the real system and see what else does not work.

  • RS232 received does not not for 67 bytes?

I built a simple send and Recieve VI that implements RS232.  I have a problem when I send an order to wait 2.5 seconds (I tried several different waiting times, don't know if that is important here, I like it just here for my peace of mind), I have a property node after the waiting that is tell me the number of bytes in the port, then I read the buffer.

What happens is that I get nothing except a carriage return in my outs read buffer.  My property node tells me that I have 67 bytes in the buffer, but it does not display the 67 bytes in the display of the read buffer.

I'll try and step by step my code here, because I know not too how to post a Video on these forums.

1.), I have set up my com port, 9600 baud, 8 bits, 1 stop bit, no parity bit, no flow control.

    2.) rinse the i/o buffer, mask 16

    3.) write my order

    4.) write a return transport

    5.) 2.5 seconds

Property node 6.), series settings: number of bytes to the Serial Port

    7 read buffer.)

    8.) close

Real simple and works on other commands, other commands do not reach the size of 67 good bytes and the highest, I've seen this work with is 24 bytes.

I just found this curious that it tells me the number of bytes in the port yet all my readings of VI is the return shipping.

    All ideas

    Thank you

    Bill

Administrators: I apologize if I am in the wrong forum, feel free to go if I am.

One thing that you should be aware, this is the default behavior of reading VISA is that it will end is read as a LF (0xA) is detected. This is the entrance to "Allow a termination character" of VISA service set up a Serial Port. By activating this option, it does not matter ask you how many bytes. If there is a LF in the data, you must set the option 'Enable' false.

  • Physical channel selected does not support the type of output required by virtual channel

I use a box USB-6251.  Inside of MAX, I can set the device to Dev1 / ao1 sine wave generation and if he have output a sine wave.  When I use DAQmx DAQmxCreateAOFuncGenChan function I get error: selected physical channel does not support the type of output required by virtual channel.  The pilot DAQmx does FuncGen on the box USB-6251 or MAX out a set of tensions?

    Hi Paul,.

Welcome to the Forums EITHER!  The DAQmxCreateAOFuncGenChan is supported only on products Elvis II.  For other devices, including the 6251, you must use the ordinary DAQmxCreateAOVoltageChan and create your own data buffer.  I would recommend looking in the following example:

    Start > all programs > National Instruments > NOR-DAQ > textual Code > ANSI C examples...

Analog on > generate voltage > Cont Gen Volt Wfm - Int Clk

In MAX the Sinewave output is used as a test signal - in this case MAX is a period of the wave sine values to write to the buffer and generate these data.  Again, you can produce a sine wave (or any other function) using the AOVoltageChan, but the AOFunctionGenChan is used only with Elvis II.  Just generate data points for the sine wave that will produce DAQ hardware.

  • CHKDSK does not work XP is restarted

After asking running chkdsk, reboot I get the message "can't open the drive for direct access.  I would like to be able to use chkdsk without going to option 2.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;283340&FR=1&PA=1&SD=HSCH

This update fixes an issue that prevents the running at the start of the system of chkdsk.exe. The problem can occur on systems with an IDE drive, and is discussed in the database Microsoft (KB) Article Q315403. Download now to resolve this issue.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=4377

However, if CHKDSK is scheduled to run when the computer restarts, the binary module that contains the verification code is Autochk.exe, a native Windows program. Because Autochk.exe runs early in the computer startup sequence, Autochk.exe doesn't have the benefit of virtual memory or other Win32 services.

Autochk.exe generates the same type of text output which generate the Chkdsk.exe utility DLLS. Autochk.exe displays this text during the startup process output and also logs an event in the application event log. The logged event information includes both the output of text like that can get into the event log's data buffer.

Both Autochk.exe and the verification in the Chkdsk.exe utility DLLS code are based on the same source code, the rest of this article uses the term "CHKDSK" to refer generically to Chkdsk.exe or Autochk.exe. Similarly, because this article is only about the CHKDSK changes that involve NTFS volumes, any statement that "CHKDSK does" such and such means that "CHKDSK does such and such when CHKDSK runs on an NTFS volume.
