Œuvres of 'stereo' Bluetooth headset, but 'hands-free' is not

I can't connect my Plantronics 590 headset with my Win7 Home Premium SP1 system in hands-free mode.

Details: in the window "My Bluetooth" for this headset: (1) I push the Connect button next to the heading "calls of VoIP before handsfree.  (2) upwards in the header bar, it shows "status: connected, the Signal level: high", and down into the "hands-free" it the topic shows «Connecting to 00:19:7F:38:F0:79 hands-free...» ", but then (3) after 5-10 seconds it shows, at the top," status: paired ' and the section free hands, "the connection failed".

I can connect this headset in ' stereo '.  But of course the headset does nothing in this mode. Details: In the same window, (1) I press the connect button next to the title of "listening to music". (2) upwards in the header bar, as in the previous case, it shows "status: connected, the Signal level: high", and headed down under the "hands-free" he shows «connecting to 00:19:7F:38:F0:79 hands free...» ».  (3) in less than a second, it shows connected to 00:19:7F:38:F0:79 stereo Audio Device".

Another thing I notice is that when I push the button 'My Bluetooth settings' on the home window "My Bluetooth", nothing happens.

Let me add that this headset works very well (in both modes) on my other computer that is running Windows XP Pro SP3.  And I'm sure that it worked in hands-free mode on the Win 7 in the past - I have not tried to use it with the Win7 system for several months, until now.

~ Thanks in advance for your help

I am pleased to announce a minor miracle that solved my problem.

Just after I posted this query, I got a little popup (Microsoft, I guess) that said, it did not have something wrong with my Bluetooth drivers and offers to replace them.  I followed the instructions.  I do not understand what this little gremlin has gone to fix things to the top.  But the main thing is that my Bluetooth hands-free headset working again!

Initially, I assumed that the timing of this popup was just a coincidence.  But upon reflection, it seems more likely that Windows was able to detect my repeated unsuccessful to connect my hands-free gadget and finally decided to take pity on me.

Anyway, anyone or whatever it was that I got up and running again, thanks!

I want something to make me pass stereo audio using the Bluetooth radio already in my laptop.

I bought a pair of headsets Plantronics BackBeat go.   They could combine with the laptop, but then in the next step, Windows (7 Home Premium) Impossible to install the appropriate drivers.  I went through all the suggested windows troubleshooting nothing helps.  I called Plantronics technical support.  I was told that I would need to buy an additional USB adapter at home, so I send you the earbuds back.

I asked Dell sales support they recommend, but the only thing they could find available from Dell needed an extra USB adapter too.  In addition, it is mono.

I really want to commit something that won't require a USB port for an adapter since the computer already has the Bluetooth hardware.  Ideally I'd like a small dongle that allowed the use of speakers, headphones or earphones.  Otherwise, I would consider dedicated Bluetooth headset or headphones.

I'm not interested in the device with a microphone or telephone control, but if that's what it takes to get other features I want, I would consider it.

I solved my problem audio Bluetooth!

My laptop Dell L502x supplied with Windows 7.  But Windows 7 has no native support for Bluetooth (a2dp) profile for the use of stereo headphones.  The helmet would pair with the laptop, but wouldn't connect.

    I found these helpful instructions

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-hardware/how-to-pairconnect-Bluetooth-audio-device-to/fb49798d-9fb5-451F-95FC-301f8f76942b

After checking the Windows Update and the Dell support site pilot for new drivers, I finally had to resort to the manufacturer's website.  Because the laptop has an Intel 6230 chip, I used the Intel driver update utility to

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/default.aspx?lang=eng

who finds these two updates relevant for me.

Drivers for Windows 7 and Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software

    and

    Software Intel® PROSet/Wireless technology Bluetooth® for Windows 7 *.

    http://www.Dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=DHS&docid=268873

I chose first to run Wireless_16.7.0_s64.exe.  After then running BT_3.1.1311_s64.exe and restarting, I accompanied my headphones to the computer and was finally able to connect.

It's a shame that Microsoft does not include a2dp with Windows 7.  I have an iPod touch and a winning machine 8 effortlessly connected to my helmet, since they have a2dp built in.

    Well, I'm just happy, there's a solution.

    Hope someone finds this useful,

I can't use my headset bluetooth stereo xtm-1200 with windows, it connects to it without asking for his password and the poster in my folder of bluetooth devices, but I can't use it, it tries to install it automatically, but cannot find a driver, I tried the solutions offered online but none worked.

I raved to google for the A2DP you have mentioned and tried different drivers until the first in the above link worked.
It has changed a little bit of my computers bluetooth interface and some new options have been allowed to re-pair all my bluetooth devices, tried to update the drivers from the Manager of devices (which worked), the uncontrolled service clubs and recontroler for my helmet, added three outgoing COM ports (don't even know what that hell they are) , and in all the fiasco that they finally work, remote control and all.
  • Recognized Bluetooth headset but won't pair with PC XP...

I have two sets of headphones Bluetooth, Sony DR-BT21 and Sony DR-BT50. I bought a USB Bluetooth dongle a few days there is a mark not specific (it was cheap) - but before becoming doubtful, I can plug it into my PC (Windows XP Prof SP3) and he will recognize both my helmet when I put them in pair mode. I can put in the access code and then they will be accepted. However, they are not apparently connected even if they are listed as of the Bluetooth devices known as a) they do not say "connected" below where it says 'authentication enabled key' in my Bluetooth devices settings and b) if I can connect with another element, for example my phone or mp3 player the being on, they are certainly not a connection paired with my PC. Now, I check to see if it is a driver problem (there is no prompt for me to download or install any drivers when I plug either the dongle or when I try to pay my headset with the dongle). I also checked in the Device Manager in the control panel to see if there was anything else required to be installed, however it comes up with nada.

So what I'm asking - how can I get my headset to connect? Clearly, they are recognized by the Bluetooth dongle, but why didn't he go further?

did you check if the Bluetooth headset has a security key? Usually, if you pair two devices BT you type a key.
When the key has been accepted devices will connect.

  • Bluetooth headset with Cisco IP phones

    Hi all

A client tries to connect a headset bluetooth Plantronics Savi WT/1 t with a Cisco 7940 IP phone and it seems to work very well when he receives a call and press the button 'phone' at the bottom of the phone. However, he wants to be able to walk outside his office and be able to receive calls by pressing the button on his bluetooth headset but the button is not admissible. Is there a way to configure that? I have the impression that the button on the helmet and the helmet on the IP phone button would somehow be synchronized but I don't see how that's possible. Someone has configured an earpiece bluetooth with a Cisco IP phone and have this feature work?

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hello Asad,

    To make this work, you would need a number of things;

-a phone that supports HHC (headset hookswitch control) such as

    Cisco 7942G, 7962G, 7945 G, 7965G, 7975 G

-the right to work with the Savi Plantronics cable, it would be

connect to the port on the bottom of the phone and works together with the

with the HHC funtion (enabled) on the config of the phone in CUCM

    -minimum sr7 CUCM 4.1 (3)

I can't find the model of Savi, you're connected, but if you could check the exact model

number/name we could provide more details.

    See you soon!

  • Audio stereo Bluetooth "disconnected."

    Greetings!

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. I was with a headset Bluetooth de Motorola S9 - HD in Vista for listening to music and it worked very well. However, now that I'm running Windows 7, it doesn't connect as a Bluetooth stereo sound. It connects as a headset for hands-free conversation, but not a stereo headset. When I try to connect as stereo headphones in the Bluetooth options it says connection then it says disconnected. I even tried to disconnect the hands-free kit and then the bu stereo audio connection that does not work either.

I tried to update the bluetooth drivers, but that does not work either. The hands-free headset isn't even like a play option in the sounds menu.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hi jrw14493,

The exact error message will be required to understand the problem in a better way and troubleshoot accordingly.

After the installation of the new operating system, windows will load the generic drivers for devices. It is always recommended to have the latest drivers for the operating system of the manufacturer's Web site. Download and install the latest drivers for Bluetooth.

  • Bluetooth headset | Impossible to re-pair the device after deletion

I have 2 fields, one for my wife and myself. I've matched with success the pre of my wife with a stereo bluetooth headset Altec Lansing/Plantronics Backbeat (new) (model BBT903/R). Then I tried to pair it with my pre but it wouldn't recognize it. I have read the help file for Bluetooth on the meadow and realized that I had to remove the association with the front woman first. The help instructions supposed to remove the device to PRE Bluetooth screen name (device name of point culminating right drag, click on delete). I did it on Pre my wife. I then tried to pair with my pre but had the same problem - the machine is not found. Tried again on my wife before and now it not pair either!

Now I'm stuck. The helmet is not recognized by a meadow. I tried to turn on/off BlueTooth. I tried to change the order in which I turned on devices (first helmet, second pre and vice versa). I tried the hard reset by removing the PRE battery and put it in. I would do the same for the helmet, but the battery is not removable/accessible.

With the Plantronics / helmets Altec Lansing, you must press the button so that it flashes Red and blue (and alternates)... the flashing blue means it's looking for a connection to a device with which it is already associated. Hope that helps.

  • Bluetooth does not work with the hands-free after iOS 9.3.1 on 6s

Question so that evacuation here... Hello apple, invite you me several times to upgrade to the latest version of the software and I finally do after two weeks of incessant pop ups and now my phone became unusable with connection handsfree on three high-end cars (both brands of cars from 2007, 2010 and 2015 ", which confirms that it is a matter of apple).  I have a 6 s and have just updated to 9.3.1.  Before the update, everything was fine now, I have constant clipping making it impossible to use.  This means that I can not make calls hands free which is obviously a problem in relation to the laws of conduct.  I'm trying to get by using a headset or speaker of the iPhone, but it's bad news.  Note people are ranting on this matter in all directions.  Do you have a recommendation?
