  Hello

  I use the HP OfficeJEt 8600 Premium and I would add three computers to the scan function, so when I scan a document, I can choose the computer I would like to than the scan-to-file.

  I would like to know how to configure the folder so that it scans a folder on the desktop, titled 'Scans' against the 'Document' default folder.

  Today, I spent a few hours playing with it, following the instructions on the forum and further research on google. I could program to scan to computer 1.

  I then changed the name of the computer, somewhere in the HP Scan Utility preferences... then on the touch screen of the printer performs, under scan > not scan to computer, NO computer has appeared.

  I would like if anyone can break it down for me. How can I program it to allow all 3 computers connected wirelessly, to receive scans to their individual workstations. ALL 3 are Mac.

  SECOND-

  I want to program this tray 1 can be white paper and tray 2, letterhead. Have not spent time on it yet, but would love if anyone knows.

  I can certainly help you to scan to your computer and edit your destination folder. I understand that you do not want you can scan all 3 of your computers when you scan from the front panel of the printer.   Thanks for the response back.

  I would at this point uninstall all previously installed printer software. If you need assistance, here is a document that can help - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows).

  Once the software is uninstalled, use the HP printer installation wizard to help install the software. This tool will search and find the version of the drivers and the printer software up-to-date.

  I have a printer/all-in-one Officejet 6700 Premium.

  Most of the documents that I print is for internal purposes, so "Draft" quality is sufficient.

  The default factory on the print quality setting is 'Normal '. I know how manually enter and restore the "draft", but I'd rather have the defaultproject, so I have to reset it manually each time.

  I could not find how to permanently fix the draft quality defect.

  Please follow the steps below to change the quality of the printer:

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. In the menu, click devices and printers.
  3. Right click on the HP Officejet 6700 icon.
  4. Click Printing Preferences.
  5. Enter the tab paper / quality .
  6. Select the project in the area of quality parameters.
  7. Click OK to save the settings.

  Now any future printing will be in draft quality.

  I updated my drivers and software on my 8600 premium. It is configured with the letter on the Board higher and legal tray 2. I have two computers, printing to this printer, one running Windows 7 (64-bit) and one running Windows 8.1 (64-bit). Same problem with computers. The problem is when I print a document of several bin page 2 it will be white pages of the plateau one interleave. The impression I get is - printed letter legal, Virgin, printed letter, legal, etc. It started just after the update. I have had this printer for about 2 years and I love it, but it becomes a problem.

  I would make sure that black ink is not enabled on your computer.

  3. right click on the printer, select printing preferences
  4. in the lower right corner, select Advanced

  Does anyone know how to enable printing without margins to the 8740?  A Google search seems to suggest, there is a power switch setting somewhere, but I can't locate it.  The margin settings are grayed out in Windows that point to the printer.  I am trying to print thank you cards and the design should at least get close to the edge of the page.   How can I make my printer print based real. Apparently, my printer has built in chestnut size reduction.

  I want to print a ruller actually measuring 12 inches. However, when I put a real ruler on the glass and copy on my computer, and then print the image print ruller actually measures approximately 11-1/2 inches.

  The same thing happens when I dounload an image from a website who alledgely downolads real size ruller. The printer prints a ruller 11-1/2.

  This solved my problem, although the screene are a little different on my HP 6500.

  I understand your photos that you use Airprint to install the software and drivers and you need to use the HP software.

  Add the printer to the system preferences, print and Scan

  1. Click on the Apple icon > System Preferences > print and scan.
  2. Click on the small symbol.
  3. Select Add another printer or Scanner

  

  4. Select the printer you are adding and next to the 'use' to choose the printer driver.  You will find Airprint is selected by default, click Airprint to open the drop-down list and choose your driver.

  

  You should now have the HP software installed.

  The printer does not print correctly if I change the legal paper size it says paper mismatch. a procedure that I didn't change default paper size. then I change th EWS configuration too but the problem is still there. Please help me.

  I was looking at the specifications of the printer HP DeskJet GT 5820 User Guide and it doesn't list legal document as a support for a type of paper supported, but if it has legal papers for a paper Type in the menu drop down, it should be able to print.

  I download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor to check the printer software. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printing software and printer.

  Whenever I go to file/print program PSE 9 darn all working files sends in the tray of the printer. I searched online for 2 hours, now looking for an answer.

  I enjoy working with several to several files in the 'bin' and prefer to print only the active file, I am currently working on without having to close the "working files" before I can print. How can I print ONLY the active document or file in the location of project? Please help, I upgraded from PSE 3 PES 9 and really like the updated features, but what a pain in the neck by default becomes the best of me.

  Select it in the trash before calling to the top of the print window. If nothing is selected, everything happens in the print window.

  Turning my printer this morning the display shows an error message "ink system failure".  I followed the instructions to reset 3 times with no luck.  I still get the same message.  I spent 2 hours on the HP parts store, trying to find a replacement printhead with no luck.  Where can I find the correct print head, ref replace, etc. so I can get this printer working again?

  I came across your post on the message 'Ink system failure' you see on your premium 8600 Officejet and troubleshooting, you have tried and are currently looking for a new printhead. My personal suggestion would be for you to contact HP directly to discuss a printhead or even a replacement unit. I would honestly suggested a replacement unit on a replacement of the print head, just in case where the same problem occurs with another print head. Details of HP are below for you!
