OfficeJet Pro 6830 e - all-in - one: Officejet Pro 6830 e - all - in - a

If I print a page it prints perfect, if I stop printing for more than 3 days and you try to print a page, it does not print just smirs. I do own head 3 steps and everything goes back to normal. This problem persists on a regular basis for 3 months I got this new printer. I have to repeat the action clean head every time I print a few pages. I carried out all necessary troubleshooting and it does the same thing. Have I not a lemon of a printer, or does anyone else have this problem?

You should always contact HP for a replacement!

    I had already set up my printer when I had last year. A few weeks ago, my printer was unplugged, when I connected again, wanting to be set up again.     I tried to install hp officejet 6830 in my laptop with windows 7, and it fails.  I always get the printer icons and my laptop with a red 'X' and it says printer installs on the net-work.  It's been about 2 weeks in train to install the printer, and I don't know what to do now.  I hope someone help me.  Thank you.

    My printer does not scan to e-mail, a yellow triangle with the server connection error message. I tried everything and no luck. New printer it scanned to email 2 times after setting up the 1st time and then he leaves, but it prints wireless, copies and analysis to a usb port. I used to have windows 8 when I got the printer but it leaves way to work before upgrading windows 10. Printer has been set up with windows 8 then disconnected and runs strictly on wifi. the error message will not go away even if hard cable to the Ether. I connect directly to the computer and there no change. If you can help please, I really enjoyed, I think it's in the proxy settings but to advanced for me.  The ifo page than anything seems possible with the exceptionof the proxy settings. Address unspecified, Port not specified and that authentication is disabled. It's all the info I have.  Thank you

    I understand that you get a connection error when trying to scan to e-mail. I am sure that I will be able to help you find a solution, and I ask only that pay you it before when solve us the problem, I would like to accept you kindly mark the post as Solution so that others have the same or similar problem can find what worked for you.

    Please, try the following steps:

    -Get the IP address of your printer (can find it under Network Config under settings)
    -Type the IP address in your web browser
    -On the left side, click iPV4 under WIRED or wireless (however you are connected)
    -Click on manual DNS
    -Under favorite type 8.8.8.8
    -Under type of spare 8.8.4.4
    -Disconnect the Modem from the wall. Wait 30 seconds. Reconnect it.
    -Turn off your printer by pressing the power button. Wait 30 seconds. Turn on.

    Messgae keeps the problem with the print head. Manually clean the print head and ran the test. The test works very well. Next time the printer is used the same message appears.

    My 3 in 1 printer is from 1 to 2 weeks and a print head is missing/driveway/notworking.  I tried the suggestions on the HP site and did not work.  I have HP printers, but they last for more than a year.  I did a diagnostic and it tells me that health of the print head is "good".

    If it is a common problem, why we can not buy or install a print head.  Someone at - it the problem just over a year?

  • OfficeJet pro 6830: hp accidentally utility 'off all '.

    I clicked on utilities (from my Macbook) HP 'Disable all' botton for HP printer & scanner. Now, all functions (such as wireless communication) and features (each button on the touch screen of the printer) are locked.

    The message appears on the touchscreen specifies "contact the system administrator or the person who set up the printer.

    Where can I access the command directory "Administrator"? On my Macbook? Or via HP online account user? Or some kind of password-key - assigned to the OfficeJet Pro 6830 on the printer itself? It's very confusing that nowhere can I find the directory "Administrator" of all of the above.

    Without a solution, I've looked everywhere in the HP online support, read JO 6830 Pro manual, as well as follow-up steps for the hard-reset and tried to re - start the pritner with cable router. The printer is still loked up and the wireless icon is grayed out. Then the last attempt is I uninstalled printer HP application of my Macbook and I tried to reinstall the software again, now I got the message "installation failed." At this point, I don't know what to do.

    You can do a reset of the printer using the LED screen on the printer.

    Select Configuration, then Tools, then restore the default settings. "Restore default settings" is the last element of the list and you will have to scroll down to see it.

    Which erases all settings, including the password for the printer.

    I just bought this printer Office Jet Pro 6978, All In One Printer.  It won't let me download the driver listed in the steps to implement, it fails every time.  I tried to use the CD that came with it, it gave me a message "this computer's operating system is not supported."   So this printer will not work on my 64-bit?  Or elsewhere?  My computer is a HP.  Where can I find a download driver for this printer for my operating system?  When it prints, it prints a nonsense.  % beginprolog % beginresource: file and so on with such things.  I am at a loss... Any help would be great.

    64-bit support is only available in Windows 7 or later operating systems.

    According to the specifications of the charges (see http://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c00839084 ) and in common with many (but not all) peripheral inket printers OfficeJet L7650 use the Language of Description of Page PCL3 Enhanced - they do not support PCL5 or PCL6.

    Negative scanning requires a special film holder (as in This example), indeed such was offered by older models and not in the past years.

    The 8620 do not offer this kind of functionality, as well as any current inkjet all-in-one device and you can't scan negatives with your printer.

    Only proffesional scanners offer a these these days, not all in one of the devices.
