OfficeJet Pro 8610: Envelopes print in black all the

This was bought in December and every time I try to print envelopes, they are entirely covered in black ink.  Removed and reinstalled the printer, it did not help... Everything else works fine.

Contacted technical support, had again to remove the printer because it was in conflict with the MAC OS which agent knew a driver problem.  New updated installed driver and the problem is GONE... Appreciated your effort and the phone number.

Please follow the steps in this guide:

  • Unique to an Officejet Pro 8600 envelopes printing

I have just my new HP Officejet Pro 8600 installation. It is true that I can print stacks of envelopes as a media type but can not simply slide an envelope in the feeder and print a single envelope?

I have been an active desktop and perform tasks of office such as the digitization of documents entrants, fax, correspondence, etc. All individual tasks without hassle. How can I print one envelope of my program of postage to send a letter? Huh, without the hassle of removing the media already in the charger to a standard daily print?

If it helps, I use VISTA Home

    > No need to a charger of sheets 80 $2500

I think it's a typo in and 8lives probably means a tray extra paper"250 sheets!

But you raised the same exact question that made me delay the upgrade for my printer for many months, because I couldn't find a printer (in this class '8600' printers) that would allow me to feed in just an occasional envelope, without needing to remove and "Re-assign" the times set paper tray!  Absolutely maddening!

(The Epson nearly equivalent workforce printers apparently take one-off envelopes through their rear trays, but these trays back need additional "behind the printer" access my office - the installation program could not allow - and I did not have an HP printer in any case !)

Then (because I could afford the high additional printer as well as the extra cost!) I gave up and bought one of these '250 sheets' extra paper trays, costing around 50UK books, and who is now dedicated to my DL envelopes, which I could print perhaps two or three per month!  An absolutely crazy design flaw in my opinion exasperated!

But I like my printer 8600 otherwise!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium: Printer leaves black lines during copy and scan from ADF

I know this question has been asked several times, but whenever I try to copy or scan from the automatic document feeder, it leaves black lines on the copy (with the document on the works of glass like a charm).  I've read through the forums and have tried the advice to unplug the machine and so on, but none of these suggestions work.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey @Huskers1,

Welcome to the HP's Support Forum!

I see that you have some problems with a line when copying from the document on your Officejet 8600 Premium feeder e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. Get a little water and a lint cloth.
    2. Open the left upper part of the printer, where the document since the charger goes into the printer. It should open up as you opened a book.
    3. With your damp cloth wipe the rubber stamp, the rollers in the cover and the casters on the bottom of this section.
    4. Again open the left side of the printer, as you opened a book.
    5. With your damp cloth, wipe the rollers, you will find inside this section.
    6. Close the upper sections of the printer and open the flat section.
    7. With your damp cloth wipe the rollers and the white bar you see on top of the printer
    8. Clean the glass on the left side of the printer.

Once all the pieces you cleaned dry, please let me know the results. If you remove the line, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910: Print in black ink only

I'm running out of color ink, but printer will not let me just print in black. I can't afford to replace the colors, but the black cartridge is full.  I can't write much more, so I use it to print my letters to my 84 year old mother.  She can't read my writing, so it's really causing me harm.  Help, please!  I set it up to print just in black, but it still does not print until the colors are replaced.

The Officejet 8500 has separated from the inks and printheads, with "plumbing" to connect.  Printing without one of the present inks ingests between air in the pipes and may damage the print head.

You need to replace the depleted cartridges.

    Hello

The eprint service works correctly since I can print when sending an email to my address of email eprint even when I travel but the application won't work when the printer of the Internet access. The printer is connected to a cable modem, wireless. Is there a way to print through the Internet using the HP ePrint app?

    Thanks in advance

Well after I asked a few friends with iPhones and Android devices to print over the Internet using the application, I noticed that everyone could.

So, initially, I reset the printer to the factory setting and reconfigured it. It has resolved all the issues I've had both with built in the application to manage as well as my phone. Now I can normally use the HP ePrint app on the internet and printing.

As a side note, I downloaded an update of the firmware to the printer and most probably caused problems, but, as says the resolved all factory reset.
