HP Officejet Pro 8610 A7F64A: OfficeJet Pro 8610 w / instant ink prints extra pages quite often!

Love the unit, however many times, when I print, I get a page kicks that tells me how many characters was on the document, number of pages, date of creation, edition, etc...     Of course with the ink HP moment, which costs me a page and I don't like.   What is the cause and how do I stop him?   See the example...

The page is printing is the Microsoft Word document properties page.  You can disable this option as follows (Instructions are for the 2013 Word, other versions would be similar): click file, Options, view and uncheck the box 'print the document properties '.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8170: Pending instant ink?

    Hello!

CEN I hope help with this question. I bought my OfficeJet Pro 8170 steeplechase, finished the installation program and is enrolled in the InstantInk no problem. Connected HP says that my printer is online and ready to use, and it is registered to instant ink HP. However, on the printer itself, the display shows he still expects the Onlune Setup progress remaining to be done. It's me invites to go to hpinstantink.com, but I did it, and this site shows me that the recruitment is done so. I can't make the view on the change of printer and I can't turn it off - the printer comes repeatedly prompts to complete the installation even if I already did.

I unplugged the printer and plugged in; Once the printer reconnected to my wireless network, he returned to offer me the options of 'Instant Ink HP no.' or 'Wait '.

Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Is your printer the 8710 Officejet Pro I think the printer is working as my Officejet Pro 8620 - you can sign up for the moment of ink, but the subscription (and charges) will not start until you install one or more instant ink cartridges in the printer.  You should be able to say "No. HP Instant Ink" in the Setup and use installation cartridges until they are exhausted.  When the cartridges of configuration are exhausted, you can replace them with instant ink cartridges and your subscription will start.

If you wish to contact instant ink HP people go to https://instantink.hpconnected.com/ and scroll down the page a bit.  There will be a link to the chat or telephone near the top right of the page

    Hello

Another approach to try is to restore settings factory via SAP:

    1. Go to the integrated Web server and IP address of the printer as 10.10.52.76;
    2. Click on settings-> default settings-> Restore Factory Defaults (see the screenshots below for more details);

When I go to my account and trying to figure out how many pages I printed since the first installation of my printer HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one, it does not give me this information.  Is it because I have not installed the new instant HP replacement ink cartridges that were sent to me after that I signed up for the program?  I always use the cartridges supplied with the printer.  If I put the replacement cartridges, it will start following my impression?

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

The answer is, "I think, Yes."  The smile.

I do not use the service, although I recently ask you a few questions about it when I had the chance.

    I remember well:

Instant ink cartridges are not magic; they are different from ordinary ink cartridges, and there is a way by which the service is able to keep track of the use of ink.

To get credit, I think that you need move to your new cartridges.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 not low ink printing

I have printer HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g all-in-one wireless.  I use laptop computers with Windows XP 32-bit, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

I received an error message "Unable to print" - replace the following ink cartridge to resume printing (HP 940 M).  I replaced the single cartridge and all the cartridges and still have the error message.  I thought that maybe the Magenta Ink Cartridge, I bought was the problem and I tried another new cartridge of ink Magenta.  The error message was always the same.

I followed the "solving a problem" to "replace following the empty ink cartridge after I installed a new cartridge.

I even replaced the printhead to see if it would fix it, but no resolution.  Before replacing the print head, I could see the ink levels and he would show levels of ink full and empty intermittently.  Now it is blocked by the error on the screen and neither will meet press OK and continue.

This could be the cause of this error message?  You have a solution?  Is that all I can try to correct this error message?

    Dennis

It sounds like the problem of reading ink cartridges could be caused by a bug in the firmware of the printer. There are a few things you can try to clear the glitch. First of all, make sure that you have the latest firmware installed in the printer. I'll link the instructions below. If the problem is still there after that, try to do a hard and partial reset. Do the hard reset first and if that does not work, proceed to the partial reset. If none of that works, the printer is locked on the error and must be replaced.

    Update the Firmware

  • HP Officejet Pro K5400 print extra page after each print job

I've updated HP software version 2.16.1 on my version of Mac OS X 10.7.5. After the update of the printer still prints an extra page after each print job. This delays the work according to the printer, because the printer flashes for about 5 minutes, then prints extra page and there always several 2-234 X. Don't know how to solve this problem, I already checked that the software is up to date. Is it possible to go back to a previous version of the HP update until a solution is found?

  • HP Officejet 6500 E709A AiO does not print web pages

My HP Officejet 6500 E709A AiO printer does not print, or even to get anything in the queue when you try to print from a web site.  We have a HP Windows 7 Home Prime Minister?  We have relocated our printer and nothing new happened.

Went to Windows 7 Forum #7 dated 01/08/09. We were told to remove the 32-bit IE8 version, when we initially installed Windows 7, but it is necessary to print from the web. Go to C: program file (x 86), Internet Explorer, then iexplore. I made a copy of the shortcut icon and installed on the desktop computer for I can use it when I want to interface with the web and be able to print from the web. Hallelujah!

  • Re: HP officejet 4620 does no black ink print

I'm having this same problem, but with an off-warranty B210a all-in-one printer. Can you help me with this also?

    @rrblint

One thing worth is to soak the printhead as described below...

    (1) get a pan and put 1/2 "of very hot (not boiling) water in the bottom.
    (2) remove all ink cartridges, then remove the print head Assembly.
    (3) gently put the printhead nozzles down in water and soak for 5 minutes.
    (4) remove the print head and gently dry the electrical contacts.
    (5) replace the print head in the printer and then reinstall the ink cartridges.

You can just replace the ink that the printer is low.

    Hey @Mike144,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.

I see you have some problems with the printing of 10 Windows PC to your Officejet 8710 e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

    To resolve this problem:

    1. If your printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    4. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    5. Click on remove the instrument.
    6. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.

If you removed the USB cable, connect. If this is not the case, click on add printer and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print with larger margins, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 +: OfficeJet Pro 8600 + very slow to print

We recently purchased a new MacBook.  From the beginning on this MacBook, our HP 8600 printer takes long time to start an extremetly to print.  Sometimes it prints ever.  The printer is set up wireless.  Sometimes the print area will say that is having problems connecting to the printer, but not always.

This only happens on this MaxBook.  I have an iMac and a Windows laptop, both connect to the same wireless printer.  Both of these printing devices print jobs fairly quickly.

I downloaded the new drivers.  Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.  Restarted the printer and wireless access point.  Disabled iPV6.

Don't know what else to try.
