OK with photography package creative cloud why did it let me use the lightroom develop module?
I tried to find an answer to this, and he told me to buy a subscription. I bought the package of photography creative cloud for 9.99. It is supposed to be included I thought.

I used Migration Assistant to set up my new Mac (new computer is a retina MacBookPro; so was the old computer). I couldn't open any of my CC applications. When I open Creative Cloud Desktop App is completely empty (no tab for applications, fonts, files, etc. - no way to install or update applications). I use a Mac. I "upgraded" to of LR4 LR5. I don't want to be a member of the "creative cloud." I just want to use the software that I bought, more precisely to load on my SmugMug account. do you mean that you get a page Adobe Adobe ID, wondering like that? If you have followed my second just method?

- Launch the application.

- Type cp ~/Library/Logs/PDApp.log ~/Desktop/logs/PDApp.log and press enter. This will copy the file PDApp.log in the folder logs.
- Type cp /tmp/amt3.log ~/Desktop/amt3.log and press enter. This will copy the file amt3.log in the folder logs.
- Type cp /tmp/oobelib.log ~/Desktop/oobelib.log and press enter. This will copy the file oobelib.log in the folder logs.
- Type tar-czf ~/Desktop/logs.tgz ~/Desktop/logs and press enter. This will create the file logs.tgz on the desktop. You can ignore the message: tar: removing leading "/" names of members.

Once you sign in with your Adobe using who you bought the subscription ID, it will recognize your ID and activate app accordingly.

Cindy1643 can you please check the version of the Creative Cloud Desktop application that you have installed? You can determine the version by clicking the gear icon, in the creative application of Cloud Desktop, then select Preferences. You'll want to then click on the tab account on the general tab.
I was reviewing the release notes this morning, and this issue is supposed to be solved with version 1.7.0.413. You can find more details at CC help | Creative Cloud app for desktop PC | Release notes.

Creative Cloud installer gets to halfway through downloading the desktop application, then disappears, no download, why is this?
I recently bought a student for the 'full package' subscription, my credit card has been charged. Then I download the installer of creative cloud from the site, that's fine, and then I double click the installer of creative cloud according to the instructions, it starts downloading the desktop application, but is only halfway, then disappears.
I tried using safari and chrome, restarted my computer, but none worked.
I noticed that the site won't keep me logged long either, it keeps switching to BUY instead of DOWNLOAD.
Any ideas?
