OnPlus ON100

Is it possible to have multiple accounts login to display the same table edge and devices?  We have activated an ON100 at our location in order to examine it and created an OnPlus account to one of our employees.  The device has been activated and is running.  Can I create an account for me to visualize the same device?  I created my account but I can't gett access the unit in the dashboard.

If you can send me an email with the account you want to remove so that you can add it as an agent, I'll make sure to happen. For security, please send it directly to [email protected] / * /

I assume that the account has no sites activated under him, right?

    Hello

I'm trying to activate a new device Onplus and I get the above error. I have factory reset the device, nothing helps. I can see the device got an IP via DHCP and can it ping. I can't seem to him via a web browser locally either.

The device comes in the portal and also shows he discovered 2 routers. See the attached screenshots

    Can help?

    Hi Rene,

I took a look in the logs on failsafe.imageboot.com for the attempts of 64:00:F1:21:18:BC and found a few. Looks all but one came me or our support people.  The other came from an assigned IP address of Telecom NZ.  I hope it's you!  I was able to trigger a transfer successfully, others transferred zero byte.  I suspect that these were attempts to test the browsers and have been interrupted.

On this basis, the ON100 can't the internet for some reason any.  It seems that none of the attempts several thousands of the device has reached the server.  This also explains why you do not see the activation input, which depends on the ON100 showing its status to our activation service.

So, we need to understand why the device is not able to access the internet.  It could be that he does not have a gateway or a DNS from DHCP sevrers or there is a filter on the outgoing path, or maybe bad material.

As you have the IP address, you can get a computer configured the same way (via the same DHCP server, switch, etc.) and see if you can access the URL above?  It must return a file of 45,086,817 bytes.

  • OnPlus constantly reports disconnects

We have an onplus at a client device.  Constantly, the OnPlus device reports that it is in offline mode.  However, the Internet is alive and well.  What are the causes the OnPlus report that it is in offline mode?  Is it an external address ping?  If so, what address?

It is almost always a type of occurring between the ON100 packet loss and OnPlus portal that is causing this symptom - but this loss could be caused by something local on the network of the Subscriber (bad ethernet cable, high CPU, switch/port, WAN connection overloaded, flakey router same QoS parameters), ISP customer or somewhere on the internet between their ISP and portal OnPlus.

The key is to determine whence the packet loss. Knowing this ON100 sees packet loss on the portal on a regular basis you gives an indicator that something is wrong with this particular Subscriber network and could give you the opportunity to identify a connection problem, before it becomes noticeable to the customer. It is much more difficult to identify this type of problem when it does not occur often. Maybe it's not a problem for the usual daily traffic of the customer, if the problem exists in apart from their ISP - end-users do not tend to be very regular reports (or sometimes even noticing) brief periods of packet loss that affect only certain parts of the internet because of problems in BGP or a supplier of special transit along the way.

If you have a unix machine at your disposal on the network of the Subscriber, you can run something like the below script on it to connect some pings on the portal OnPlus, the customer's ISP (side maybe the ISP to the WAN, or a network server of the ISP such as a DNS server), until you get the next event of disconnection from OnPlus. Then, you can view the log of the host for the period of time when OnPlus saw a failure and see if there's an abandonment in pings on the portal OnPlus of this unix machine. If this is not the case, the problem is probably related to the ON100 or, possibly, the switch/port/cable to which it is connected. If so, you can review files newspapers ISP and gateway and see if the unix machine has seen a similar to worms leaving the same time to the ISP or local gateway router. If you use this script below, please be sure to change the 3 values at the top.

    #! / bin/bash

    echo "[ `date` ]" >> $LOGI

    ping -c 60 ${MY_ISP} >> ${LOGI} &

    echo "[ `date` ]" >> $LOGG

    ping -c 60 ${MY_GATEWAY} >> ${LOGG} &

  • OnPlus Agent connected to 802. 1 q Trunk

    Hello, team OnPlus,

I posted a question a few days ago regarding an OnPlus agent unable to see miltiple VLAN.  I've been advised to re-set to the switch port that the agent was connected to a trunk link, but when I tried this the agent subsequently loses IP connectivity to the network. I tried this on a network of clients and also with a test agent on our own network, and whenever I change the port to be a trunk connection, it loses its connection to the LAN. It doesn't seem to be what I can configure agent real itself enough so I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

    Concerning

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

When you configure the ON100 mode trunk switch port, also set up a vlan native "no label" for the port? I think it's necessary, because the ON100 not currently has the ability to specify a VLAN for his failure to routing so that it can acquire the connectivity on the portal. If the ON100 cannot talk properly to the network, it can never move to the stage where it begins its discovery services.

On a Cisco switch, the configuration should look like:

    interface GigabitEthernet1/2

    switchport trunk vlan 200 native

    switchport mode trunk

  • OnPlus discovery and Nexus 5548

    Hello

I just installed an OnPlus agent for a customer who has a Nexus with a 3 layer daugthter card 5548 as their central switch, but the agent is not discovered any device beyond the vlan in which he is sitting.  Does anyone have any experience with the OnPlus ageent and Nexus switches.  It is obviously not a Cisco device supported but I configured IDs connection and snmp access to the switch on the portal, but still nothing is discovered.  Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Concerning

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

To discover the multi - VLAN, connect the On100 to an 802. 1 q trunk port. This will allow the On100 discover other VLANs. It is currently connected to an access port which is to limit the broadcast traffic of the other VLAN.

Although the device is not currently supported, he discovered and enable basic support we provide for all detected devices.

  • Already registered on the portal OnPlus - cannot add a device already enabled/customer

    Hello

    I am registered on OnPlus.

Then my colleague registered and activated a device.

I could not activate the device - even if my PC is on the same subnet and can connect to it very well (with the password provided by my colleague).

When he sends me an invitation for the device - it takes me to the registration page.

If I get my information from record (again) - I get (not surprisingly)...

"We had a problem with your submission. Please correct the following errors. This user ID is already registered. »

Still-, there is no choice because "I am already registered.

When I connect OnPlus and try to "Add Customer" - I put in the details, then it goes to the activation screen with

    "CustomerX / status".

    To activate this client:

Install the Agent network OnPlus on the premises of the customer and connect it to the LAN client.

Turn the Network Agent OnPlus the switch zipper on the back panel of the Network Agent OnPlus.

If your computer is connected to the same network as the network OnPlus Agent, click on the button activate now below.

Otherwise, follow the instructions for activation in the guide getting started for the Cisco OnPlus Network Agent.

Activation for this customer information are:

    Activation ID:... »

If I click on activate it says

"Unable to determine a local IP address for all Agent OnPlus of network into your current network.

Check that the Network Agent OnPlus is connected to the same local network as this browser. OnPlus Network Agent must be on the same public WAN IP address (203.25.x.x) in your web browser block current.

Not enabled OnPlus network Agents will attempt to disseminate their IP up to 30 minutes and if successful will appear here for 4 hours. Try to stop power OnPlus Network Agent if it has been online for more than 30 minutes.

Verify that the DHCP service is running on the local network so that network OnPlus Agent is able to acquire an IP via DHCP. You will be able to change Agent of the OnPlus network to use a static IP address if you choose to (recommended), but the DHCP service is required to access the Network Agent OnPlus start.

Ensure that DHCP clients can route to the Internet.

If the Network Agent OnPlus hosting site has multiple WAN paths to the Internet, try refreshing this page. Your browser must Access this page from the IP WAN as the Agent of OnPlus network address. »

We even tried power cycling it, and I'm definitely on the same subnet.

There was no possibility of entering an IP address no matter where manually - process regarding the "Impossible to determine an IP address local for all Agent OnPlus network on your current network."

I ping the device and even connect to its graphical interface. It simply does not appear as any way to add this unit to my own account on the portal OnPlus.

    That please?

    Hello Brett.

The On100 device can be associated with a single customer and a customer cannot exist in more than one Agent account. From your description, I understand that your colleague registered as a OnPlus Agent, created an account customer, and then active the On100 device under this new client.

However, it is possible for you to have access to the customer site by becoming a sub-agent under account OnPlus Agent of your colleague.  And according to the description above, it seems that your colleague has already sent you an invitation to become a subagent.  The problem now is that you have previously registered your EAC as OnPlus Agent id.  It is not possible for a single CCE id or an Agent and a secondary agent in the OnPlus portal.

To allow your registration as sub-agent, we remove your EAC to your portal id.  It is a manual step that I am happy to help you.  Simply unicast your Agent account information to [email protected] / * / .  Once I take off your CEC id you will be OK to complete the registration of subagent.

Here's some more information about the creation of the sub-agents in the portal OnPlus.  A previous post jamwyatt courtesy of response:

In the account that contains the Agent network ON100, you can add other agents, on invitation. On the overview page, there is a menu agent at the top that will allow you to invite the officers. Once you invite an agent, and they sign up, they will be able to see the same view you see. The design intent is that you set up a master account for your business, then you invite other employees and contractors to adhere as agents of this account. Each guest will need a Cisco ID and once that they sign up, they will have to be approved by the owner of the main account (same menu agent, selection "of Agents in waiting"). Using this approach, the owner of the company retains the main account and allows you to manage completely all agents.

    Kind regards

  • OnPlus Notifications

Has anyone else had problems with OnPlus Notification to the end. We did not have the notifications from the 17th century, looking at the email logs, any configured clients.

  • Unable to connect to OnPlus 100

Unit was working fine for a few months, but other factors, at least 2 of the resets of material were performed on this device.  The device becomes apparently an IP address from the DHCP server because I am able to ping and it appears in my DHCP reservations.  I know that the original IP and the new IP address is different.  The Portal shows that this device is in offline mode.  The two lights flash red at the same time.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Anthony,

The two flashing red LED indicates that the device has been reset properly and try to download the latest firmware.  As it seems that the device has been in this State for a while, there seems to be a problem with this download.  The fact that the IP address of the device has changed does not directly affect our service, but it could make a difference in your local LAN depending on the configuration of your firewall.  OnPlus service does not require the opening of incoming ports, but it requires several outgoing ports, such as listed in section 2 of the User Guide.  It is possible that the firewall has been specially configured for the old IP.  Downloading is done via http, it is therefore also possible download is blocked by an IPS.  I will send you a private message regarding some other detals I noticed in our logs.

BTW, section 14 of the Guide shows the different States of the LED.

  • OnPlus MY port LED not always turned on/active when connected

I noticed that the port of LUN is not still active despite being connected.

The port will go completely dead where even a powercycle of the ON100 will not activate the port (eth1 on the device I believe based on of NTOP poster config).  The switch (SLM2008 - v2.0.0.10) show that no device is connected and by moving the ON100 on one another well known port will always appear also died.  Sometimes to put the ports will cause the next LUN interface to life, but not always.

When it works I have no problem using the mirroring port SLM2008 had with NTOP for obtaining all the expected data however I can't quite trust this configuration yet due to the interface of MY not being always active.

    Suggestions?

Other than that and a few strange bugs listed in May the release notes I hit, I'm really loving this service despite the lack of support from RV220W (I hope it's in the works of Cisco / the TeamF1 show the).

Michael - I assume that you have already tried to replace the cable also?

  • Service OnPlus not end activation

Unit - wake on LAN - recognized code MAC

-Ability to select 'turn on' - the next screen is empty.

It was the last unit, you tried to activate? I ask because I think if you would be able to save another unit of this browser.

Have you tried to erase cookies or any another computer to test with?

  • OnPlus "Register now" does not

I can't register on the portal OnPlus. When I try to fill in the form online button submit seems to do nothing. Here is a detailed description of what I do

    1. open https://www.cisco-onplus.com/

    2. click on 'Register now', it takes me to https://1-dfw.cisco-onplus.com/register.html

    3. complete the form and click 'submit '.

Seem easy, but the button does not respond. Here are some steps to try to work around this problem, I took.

    1. delete temporary internet files

2 tried a different browser (IE, chrome and Firefox)

    3A tried another internet connection

    4 tried another computer

    5. added to the "Trusted Sites" site

6 waited 24 hours in case there was a body with the site.

    7. tried is missing some of the required fields to see if the button 'Submit' pushes me with an error (it didn't)

Has anyone else had these questions or anyone could be able to successfully "Sign up" in the last 48 hours?

    UPDATE:

After research with our dev team, we found a bug with the registration page.  A fix is now in place for this question.

Please try again.  If you still have a problem answer here or the unicast see me directly.

  • Difference between Smartcare and Onplus

    Hi guys,.

I am interested in the Onplus service and want to start selling our SMB customers.

But I need to understand the difference betwene Smartcare and OnPlus, two of them are a Managed services solution provided by Cisco for small and medium-sized enterprises. The only difference I see is that Smartcare was for the SMB market and Onplus is only for small businesses.

Also is there any material training partners have to complete before they can start selling?
