• Static analog output without a while loop?

  Hi all

  Would like to know if it is possible to set up a card outputs analog instrument (with DAQmx I presume) to have a static/continuous output, without needing to use a while loop.  I what would want to return a single value rather than a table or a waveform.  It would be similar to option for digital IO cards to have static strings instead of strings of waveform.  In the examples I've seen, he always seems to be a time loop is necessary, even if the channel is configured for a single sample, but I think it would be cleaner and easier to control dynamically without the loop (particularly if I run several screws in parallel).  My particular application is to configure inputs and outputs analog, then runs different tests with other maps of the instrument.  Please notify.  Thank you.

  No, you don't need a loop. A writing DAQmx for 1Sample game, it's all you need. Please include am image of the pattern block one of these examples. My guess is that the example is simply a way to accept changes in production without having to re-run the whole VI.

  My new recently Mbpr 15 inch has suddenly lost its sound, I went through the process of the toothpick etc but nothing. It worked perfectly fine earlier today, but I put in a mini jack into the headphone port and after to achieve 30 minutes later and taking the cable to THE that I had not his, then I had the red light coming out of the helmet but now its does not come in red and in the sound settings in system preferences its impasse on "optical digital output Port.

  I now have to wait a week to wait until I can get seen at my apple store closet, I coming projects upward and in the middle of deadline and really using this Mbp to work, I literally only had a TI surly less than two months, I shouldn't have any problems. So if anyone knows anything I would appreciate it a lot! I need help to get this resolution as soon as possible! the last post I saw this was in 2006-2012 no new thread on this recently!

  I have strange problems with the sensors showing the wrong exit. I am designing a CPU, and what is happening on a design more complex and now even on a simple.

  The installation program:

  I have 9 bits go to the entries. They are made of SPDT switches, each wired to VCC and ground, selectively.

  The first four "strands" or switches (Q, W, E, R keys) control A3... A0,

  The second of four switches (keys A, S, D, F) control B3... B0,

  The space bar control Carry-In.

  I also 3 series of XOR (74F86) switching each of the inputs and outputs on a selective basis.

  1 key allows to reverse the input bits A,

  Press 2 to reverse the B input bits,

  3 button to reverse the output bits.

  The four bits of the sum and the Carry-Out bit are each thread to their own digital logic probe (PROBE_DIG_GREEN).

  The problem:

  Exit lights are sometimes wrong, but the way that simple I know how to reproduce the bug is as follows:

  Load the file. and run the simulation.

  Press Q to switch the MSB of the seized A.

  Watch the lights of the probe. They're probably showing an inverted output.

  Press 3 to reverse the result.

  See the same lights.

  Press 3 to delete (UN-invert) exit.

  The output is corrected as it should have been from the beginning.

  Alternatively, press space to show lights crazy and 3.

  You can compare this to allowing the LSB of the input A (R key) instead of the MSB (Q key) and see how it is supposed to work.

  Why does this work? I'm doing something wrong? Is this a bug with the software? Y at - it update?

  I replaced your switch with a digital constant interactive, it is easier to see the digital input as the bipolar switch.  You can find this part in the in the Group of 'Sources' on the family of "Digital Sources".  Your scheme lacked a digital pattern, it most cases this affect the circuits, but from time to time, he made another, the modified file is attached.

  I recently bought a desktop computer HP Pavilion with Vista Home Premium (64 bit) 5150t.  The PC comes with a TV tuner and it works well with Media Center except that it cannot output Dolby Digital (or the other program on the air with JJ or DVDs of films that have a DD) outside of my A / V receiver.

  My Board has Realtek HD Audio and I activated the digital (SPDIF) output in its program.  I put the "Properties" of the digital output in support of * TWO * DTS and Dolby Digital encoding.  When I press the 'Test' button for either format, outside A / V receiver correctly recognizes the format, so the problem is not with my receiver.

  Read forums and online help notes, I strongly suspect that the codec MPEG-2 by default for Windows Media Center is not configured correctly for cross DD or DTS - it somehow always stereo down-Mix before sending to SPDIF.  Could you tell me how to check and change codec setting?  Thank you!

  This problem occurs because the DirectShow component and audio decoder MPEG2 in Windows Vista does not correctly support DTS pass through S/PDIF or HDMI.
   
  To work around this problem, click to select the box Audio DTS and Dolby Digital check box in the SPDIF Out properties dialog box or the dialog box Properties of HDMI Out .

• Send the meter digital outputs while gaining analog data

  Hi all

  I'm looking to acquire analog inputs on several channels and send simple TTL pulses at different times during the acquisition using a Board from UBB-6221.  Delays at the outset of the acquisition and the release of life should be handles by a control on the front panel.  I got it work using the software timing and an inexpensive board before, but the program needs to be more specific than that (so timing equipment).  I write the program using DAQmx and LabView 8.2, but if necessary, I have 8.5 available as well.  I know well the General LabView program, but'm not comftorable with DAQmx, which I suppose I should use (I only really used the Wizard).  If there is an example of this somewhere, or if someone has done in the past, I would really appreciate the help!

  There are a number of different ways to do it, but I created a quick method that makes a digital waveform with the number of samples and asking rate and then allows you to specify at what time you want to insert a "trigger" (which basically means that he will place a high in at this point in the waveform). I did this using only 3 functions and a loop that traverses according to triggers and how you want to insert. You can use a similar method or just make this code in a Subvi, which will create your digital data correlated according to the total number of samples, sampling frequency, and the specified time you want the triggers occurs to. I have attached the VI below for LabVIEW 8.0 and later versions, as well as a screenshot showing what the digital waveform will look like based on what values are entered for moments of relaxation. In the screenshot below, you'll see that there are 2000 total samples that are emitted at a frequency of 100 Hz. Thus, the total waveform will last for 20 seconds, and the trip times are listed as 5, 10 and 15 seconds.

  

  The following image shows a zoom in view of relaxation that is created during the second 5 brand, which will last for the sampling period of 0.01 seconds (100 Hz sample clock period).

  I just bought a 500-214 with IDT High Def Audio CODEC Pavilion / DTS Sound +.

  Is it possible to get opitcal of audio output digital and analog (speakers/headphones) at the same time?  Stereo amp needs access both to the multizone/source function.  I can manually choose one or the other before the reading - it is clumsy that when audio of of active switching devices will turn off, but a passage to not always light up.  But I really need both active simultaneously for amp work properly.  I also found jack rear speaker to be more stubborn while headphones jack front of switch.

  Just installed my new TV, 55VL900A - great picture, very happy. I have a BDX4300KY a drive blueray and Foxtel connected to the TV via HDMI.

  The TV has audio output optical fiber, which I run for my Yamaha DSP - A1 amp.

  The Blueray and Foxtel are defined to pass on Dolby Digital through HDMI.

  Problem 1: TV does not have Dolby Digital of the fiber optic connection.

  Problem 2: If I run audio blueray or foxtel fiber optics directly to my amp, there is a sync problem. The audio is delivered earlier than the image.

  I searched and found no results in my manual, or in the forum. Help, please.

  I put t have the same devices at home, but I use the optical cable for sound. It is connected to my blue ray and Technichs amp player. I use 5.1 home theater connected to the Technics. The sound is perfect.

  I put t know how it works on TV Toshiba but check please if something should be enabled there.

  See s operating manuals and do not forget the optical output must not be activated. Optical cable is connected to the amp in the optical port marked as TV in the back?   Which is really strange. Can you please test it with cable audio normal cinch? It will be interesting to know if the same problem occurs again.

  Advanced Port Replicator III more supports the use only if the computer system unit laptop itself also supports the simultaneous use of RGB & DVI.

  What are the versions you have installed?  Do you have what DAQmx version installed?  Which version do you want it to run?

  Since you say there are several versions of LabVIEW installed, I'm guessing that you have a newer version of installed DAQmx that can use LabVIEW 8.2.  Try to open the VI in your latest version.
