  I installed Photoshop CC 2014.2 (version 2014.2.0), but I am unable to get new scripts to fill pattern to work or even appear in the user interface. • Photoshop CC 2014 will not open all the files, not even create new ones

  I have a freshly installed version of Photoshop CC 2014, and it is enough to open any file single no matter what I do.  I also CC 2014 Illustrator installed since last week and it behaves very well, and even open files that Photoshop won't open (jpg, psd, png, etc.).

  I tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling and it doesn't always open all files.  In fact, nothing happens when I click on the 'Open' button in the open file dialog.

  Well, I finally got to work by trial and error.  Here are the steps I used to run:

  (1) make sure that you are not behind a Firewall/VPN/etc, just connect directly to the internet (if possible).  I use Adobe for my work laptop, and I was informed that this could be a problem during the installation process.

  (2) uninstall Photoshop via the creative cloud application interface.

  (3) click on icon creative cloud of the system and "Quit" status bar (it is automatically started for me to a previous start)

  (4) make a right click on the creative cloud desktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator"

  (5) Photoshop re - install

  After completing the above steps, I can now open any file png, jpg, gif, etc, so that start a new file.  I have no idea why it works or if my not play no role in fixing it, but I thought it was worth sharing for others to try if they encounter a similar problem.  It could be the firewall that I was behind, or the permissions (I don't think creative cloud starts as an administrator).  But I'm not able to say that I know the exact resolution.  I hope this helps!

• Problem with 'Ghosts' in Photoshop CC 2014

  Hello. I have a rather strange problem so I hope you can understand. Everything that I work in photoshop with the text imported as a smart object. I copied the smart object layer and apply different styles with dynamic filters to achieve a certain effect. • Photoshop CC 2014 closes when start for a few seconds

  When I try to open the Photoshop CC 2014. It will close after that that she has started upward for a few seconds without any error message dialog in Photoshop or error log in Event Viewer.

  I just subscribed to the combo of Photoshop & light package yesterday and tried to install Photoshop CC 2014.

  I tried to figure it out for at least 10 hours in 2 days by searching for solutions to these problems and tried everything I could do, but nothing really works.

  What I've tried are as follows:

  1. uninstall the cc ps 2014 with disable the preferences option and reinstall again with creative cloud application, but no luck.

  2. update graphic driver Nvidia, which he is already up to date, no luck. I even update windows using the center of Update window, but still the same problem.

  3. use Adobe Creative cloud cleaner tool after uninstalling the program. The cleaning tool works fine with message successfully and no error message in the log file. Then I try to install again, the ps, but no luck again.

  4. use the license Update Service tool, but not luck.

  5 remove the opm.db and not lunch Photoshop again, but no luck, same problem.

  ***6. Rename the folder SLStore SLStore_old. Open the program and he will ask me the software license by signing with my adobe account, he 'works' only for the first time.   I really need to use the program and that's why I decide to buy the package, please help solve this problem.

  I did it and it works for me, so I think I should share it so that people who have faced the same question that I can give it a try.

  Basically, just uninstall the Photoshop and creative cloud, then rename the folder SLCache SLCache_old. Restart your computer once and then re - install everything again. (CC and PS)

  It should work.

  It s a known problem in the new beta version of Adobe CC 2014 - only solution at the moment, seems to be a reinstallation of Photoshop. (maybe)

• I can't get Dr. Browns Image Processor Pro to work with Photoshop CC 2014 bridge

  We use the DR Browns wonderful Pro Processor Image script much, but cannot make it work with PS CC 2014 bridge. When I select files in Bridge CC, then go to tools > Dr. Browns Services 2.3.1 > Image Processor Pro it appears an error message that says ReferenceError: photoshop is undefined.

  The real script works fine if I run it from Photoshop CC 2014 - just not so I load it from bridge CC.

  I uninstalled it and re installed a few times, both manually and through the CC of the extensions Manager.

  I use a 64-bit Windows 7 computer.

  I guess that there are a few changes in the part of the script that loads Photoshop of the bridge, but not course. It worked fine in CC. Simply not CC 2014.

  I open the Dr Browns Services .jsx file but don't see anything obvious. This is the section on the Image Processor Pro part:

  Nevermind - Dr. Browns Services works very well with CC 2014. I just had a lot of trouble with the upgrade... After uninstalling any version of PS and bridge, reboot and reinstall just CC 2014 everything works as it should. I had trouble with the upgrade by 2014 CC on both computers I use - but re-installing fixed everything and was easier to do that I thought it would be.

  Last update of the latest Version of Photoshop on brand new Photoshop CC 2014 CC. Everything worked fine before the update! After installing Photoshop CC 2014, when I try to change Photoshop CC preferences, I get the error ' after updating Photoshop CC to update Photoshop CC 2014 - "cannot record Preverences because the file is locked, you don't have the necessary access permissions or another program of dissemination of the file" when I want to close Photoshop for the changes in preferences in force...   I had the same problem on Mac OS. And I could not migrate the settings. Launch as resetting preferences suggest here, has not solved the problem. I had to go to the library main folder Preferences and reset the permissions for the file Photoshop CC 2014 paths Photoshop CC 2014 folder and Settings. I am disappointed that Adobe has shipped an upgrade with such a fundamental flaw. I think I should say something derogatory and disparaging about Adobe, quality control, on the way as a loyal customer, using Photoshop since version 2.5 and a Subscriber CC, expecting better. But I'll leave these comments for others.

  I support a user of Photoshop CC 2014, which attempts to open multiple .jpg on his local computer files, but gets an error message: could not complete your request because the file is locked, you don't have the necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in Windows Explorer to open the file. However, not all the files are affected, and many display a thumbnail of the image and allow the user to open the file.   If the problem is only with few files, whether they are corrupted or locked (only permission to read)

  Please try to open the file in any other image editing program and save it as a Jpeg again.

  Then try to open the file duplicate in Photoshop.
