Photosmart 3310 printing issue - apparently ink leaks and failures of alignment

Hi, sorry to bother but I am facing a problem with an All - In - One Photosmart 3310.

-I am running windows XP.

-L' printer is connected to several for my private with band wifi LAN.

N ' got no code error on the question

-All used within the printer cartridges are genuine HP and photo paper was also 10 x 15 HP (the one provided with the packs of cartridges).

-L' printer is a little over 4 years now and he has his crazy suddenly two days ago. The printer has not been moved or damaged, it simply sound suddenly started printing blue black & white text characters and ended with the ink.

As I have already experienced similar problems with some other printers, I well as cleaning cartridges and lining up, but it has not changed anything. I finally changed all 6 white ink by new ones, but all the same. I cleaned again, tried to align, but once again, no possible way to achieve alignment. "Alignment failed" came out at this stage.

It should be noted that no two prints come out the same way, some are mainly blu, other yellow or green...

At this point, I didn't Kow where to start with this problem. There seems to be a leak in the print head (assuming that the magenta) and another leak with the blue wire (it can not see on the pictures, located at the bottom of the left hand side, but could not get any pic suited because of the plastic on the printer cover.

So, I'm wondering the following things:

-What a sound suddenly went to the printer?

-It worth repair?

-How to proceed?

Alignment is probably a failure because of the incorrect colors being printed on the page. The printer scans each line or section of the alignment page using a special sensor inside the printer and check all colors from ink and their bosses and investment. If one of them is not what the printer is expected to be, the alignment will fail. I don't know what film you're referring. But I don't think it matters, as the cause of the failure of the alignment is quite obvious.

I don't think it's possible for you to do something to solve this problem. Take it to a service center would be a better option, cos they have the tools and the expertise and training to do such things.

The upgrade process differs from one country to another. I'm not sure of European countries, but in the United States, you can call the support technology and upgrade to a new printer with similar features as yours. HP has TS lines for printers, which is very different from Smart Friend. You must pay any fees to call them and talk to them. This is where you can buy a printer refurbished at a reduced price, which will be accompanied by a full factory warranty.     Of course, I can't speak for cdurso, but for my part, HP refused to help me with the reset of the region. Some representatives of the foreign customer support told me simply repeatedly that my printer was obsolete, and that I had to buy a new one. However, I found a solution very simple to my problem. I simply pulled the chip on the ink cartridge in the region that the printer has been set to, and I stuck on my new cartridge. I think that this would negate my ink level readings, but it allows me to use the printer, which now works perfectly. I just have to ignore the "expired cartridge" message I get every time I need to activate or reset it.

    I have problems with the print quality. In the summer, I installed the new HP original cartridges (black and color), a few printed pages and soon, I went to holiday - my printer has not been used or even turned on for about 5 weeks. A few days after my return, I tried to print text. Horizontal stripes appeared. I tried cleaning software (a natural and deep) and the deep one always helped. However, when I tried to print something the next day the problem was back. I tried the update of drivers and clean the print heads and also I cleaned the cartridges with alcohol and a q-tip. Nothing seems to solve the problem completely. While this could be due to a faulty cartridge, I don't think it's possible for the two new cartridges, I bought to be somewhat damaged. I have attached a scan of the printed text - it has been printed in the landscape, vertical blank lines, you see are indeed horizontal.

    It is possible that the problem could be that during the time of your vacation, without the printer used. What ink cartridges could have dried a little.     My printer Photosmart 3310 scanner was working fine, but I recently had to reinstall the HP Solution Center software.

    Now the solution Center can not find my printer on the LAN.

    • Windows can see the printer and print

    But the HP Solution Center can not find the printer to install it, even when I type the IP address of the printer in the 'wired network' installation part of the Setup program.

    I don't know what else to do to try to get the HP Solution Center to find my pronter, I disabled the firewall, I tried to connect wireless and USB, but nothing seems to get the solution center to recognize my printer.

  • Photosmart 7510: prints is magenta ink

    I was away for a few weeks, and when I got home my printer will print is magenta ink. This cartridge has already shown as not empty and I just put in another. All the other colors print.     My HP photosmart C4700 printer has a document stuck in queue which prevents further printing and not appearing is not in the box "which is printing.  Therefore, I can't clear the jammed paper.  Whenever I try to print I get status - doc error 1 printer in the queue prevents further printing.  Any help here please?  I tried to delete the printer and put it back in place and restarted my computer as well.  Thank you!

    If you have performed all the steps in the document above and the problem persists, not one of HPs, my personal recommendation is to use the solution put forward in the next video.  I suggest you only do this if the printer is out of warranty; How to fix an HP, not for printing black ink and lack of color printer

    Even if the printer is maybe more under warranty, if the problem persists, HP may be able to offer something. Perhaps, they may offer you a discount on another model. What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

    Step 3. Scroll up to "still need help? Fill out the form to select your contact options.

    I have a windows vista operating system and a Photosmart HP 3310 all-in-one printer.   Lately when I try to print anything I get an error message and nothing will be printed. All connections seem to be OK and I've updated the drivers but nothing seems to work.

    My son was able to solve the problem by removing and then reinstalling the software priter.  Thanks for your help.

    My MacBook Air can connect and print via the USB port on my HP Photosmart 3310 printer, but it can not connect via the URL on the wired home network. The printer is connected to our home network and works perfectly with several other PCs, wired and wireless.
