Photosmart 7510 Automatic Document Feeder. It copies a weird size double-sided?

I have a Photosmart 7510.  I've never used the automatic document feeder and could not find anywhere online how to use it.  I want to know if I can put in a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 image from a funeral and did copy both sides so she's going to look like a card... all on one as the original.

Specifications

Hi grammafaith,

To copy the size you want through the ADF is not supported. According to the specifications, the larger size of the photo tray is 5 x 7, and use the main charger would cause a paper jam.

I've included here for 'copy a MultiPage Original' document. I tried as follows on the 7510 I and was able to copy successfully on both sides.

I've also included the steps here for you.
(1) place the point on the scanner glass
2) press the button copy
3) press the Settings button at the bottom left
(4) make sure that only 2 sides copy is turned on
5) Press Start
(6) follow the instructions on the screen to load the second page / or return the paper and continue

Please let me know if this has worked successfully for you, thank you.

  • Flag 23: problem of scanning hp photosmart 7520: Automatic Document feeding

My photosmart hp 7520 worked well since I got a couple of months.  I have often used the feature of the parser for a single page (or photo) both placed on the glass.  I also used it to scan several pages in a file PDF - one page at a time placed on the glass (not via the ADF because they are double sided pages).  Two days ago, I started having trouble with the scan function.  When I select Scan--> computer-->-->--> PDF Document MYPC and load a single page on glass, sometimes it allows me to analyze this page, I request to load the next page which I do but that's all.  He said that the analysis has been a success and the document is saved even if I have additional pages.  It doesn't gives me the opportunity to make more than two pages.  At other times, as soon as I put the first page on the glass and go to the scanner, it does "No preview available when you use the ADF" even if there is no paper in the ADF.  I did not any changes for the 7520 or Pavilion.  Is it a software HP 7520 glitch or hardware problem?  I tried the normal stuff of uninstalling the software and put it back, by restarting and unplugging the 7520, etc. all to nothing does not.  Same problems keep occurred.  Suggestions?  Thank you.

I just bought a HP OfficeJet 8620, who says that he will "Break through with automatic double-sided scanning multipage documents and an automatic document feeder to 50 pages." I can't find a reference to such an operation in the user manual and seem to read thet, others have not been able to do. Before I take the trouble to unpacking and to establish this printer, can anyone tell me if the printer can do this duplex auto scanning and if so, how?

    Hello

Yes, he can do an ADF duplex scanning using the screen of the printer or the HP scanning software.

    Kind regards.

  • HP7520: How to scan 2 pages with the automatic document feeder and save to a file?

How can I scan 2 pages with the automatic document feeder and save to a file?  (Right now, it happens that 2 separate files)

    I have a HP7520, & again, I wish scan 2 pages into a single jpeg file.

    Thank you

Well, in general JPEG format does not support several concept as a document page. Thus, each image in the JPEG file is saved in a single file. If you are considering of reduction of 2 images in 1 paper size (example: A4), you may need some image editor to do

If you are looking for a mulit-page image format, TIFF can be a format suitable to use.

It seems to be stuck in the automatic document feeder that does not allow the paper to pass by a business card.  Is there anyway I can get it

Hi, take a look at the #2 solution in this link.

  • HP Officejet 6700 premium all-in-one. The documents will not power automatic document feeder fax.

I can send a fax from the glass, but when I try to fax multiple pages in auto document feeder it doesn't recognize, they are there and asks me if I want to fax the glass or ADF.  I click on ADF and says original place in the ADF, and press start.  I opened the compartment in front of the ADF and it is not stuck or dirty.  Help, please.

    Hi DLreportin,

    Thanks for the reply!

In the software you wish to select Connect new printer. Not really sure why you were running the software again if I don't believe it was part of one of my suggestions.

If I understand well after the steps of my above after you are still unable to make a copy through the ADF?

Did you update the firmware, or connect the printer to the wall makes no difference?

Please let me know it's going, and if you are still unable to copy after checking these two things and then I will consider a deeper reset for you.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 more AIO automatic document feeder paper jam.

During the analysis of a smaller document using the ADF, he got stuck in the charger. While recovering the document, a corner of the document got torn and is stuck in the document feeder. Now, whenever I use the loader to scan a document once again, that the document gets stuck because of a small piece of paper that is still stuck in the charger. I tried carefully with a toothpick to catch the small piece of paper, but I can't put a finger on her. Is it possible to open a little more? Not only the cover of the power supply unit? Or are there other ideas to solve my problem?

Thx for any suggestions you may have.

    Hello KrisV

You have exceeded the article the ADF (ADF) documents does not Pick Up paper? If so, or if the problem persists, try to slightly heavier paper through the ADF. I've seen some clients clear paper jams using this method. Thicker paper can be thick enough to get out any remaining paper. I'm not sure what specific weight of paper they used however.

    Hi @FaithHopeLove,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that your HP Photosmart 7520 printer will not print because of this error message "re - load the document". I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I understand the frustration you are experiencing. It seems that the printer is stuck in an error state or there is a blockage in the ADF (ADF).

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem. Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a bar or a surge protector). This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

If you have access to another computer running Windows 8 or an earlier version, please update the firmware of the printer. Click here to go to the download page.

To make sure that there are no obstructions in the ADF, follow this guide:

The ADF (ADF) is not get paper

If the problem persists, I suggest we try semi Full Reset. I can send you this information in a private message. In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

  • OfficeJet 6700: Officejet 6700 Automatic Document Feeder failure

I bought a 6700 Officejet of staples in August 2014. It worked perfectly and I used it to scan several years of bank statements using the ADF on the top of the printer. I have not had any problems up until October, when I tried to quickly copy a document on my way to work. The ADF has failed feed paper and I was forced to use the flat bed scanner. Since then, I was not able to copy or scan using the ADF with success. I cleaned the rollers, checked it is not (not even a small piece of paper), checked jam firmware is up to date, reset the printer, tried to start scanning the computer via ethernet and USB on Windows 7 and 8.1. When I checked my warranty status, it said it expired January 31, 2013. I submitted proof of purchase twice via the form of warranty status. It is said that I should have an answer within 24 hours, and I did not receive a response. I think there need maintenance, but I think I should be able to use the warranty for such a question.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. I've always bought HP printers for their reliability and longevity, and I don't want to have a bad reputation to develop between me and my main source of computers and printers.

  • Automatic document feeder stop working on printer HP M1536dnf MFP

Hello.  The automatic of the document (BAA) on my all in one work suddenly quitting coppier.  I cleaned but still nothing.  When you set up a sheet of paper in the tray and it depresses the lever on the power head, he normally had a message like 'paper' on the LCD display.  Now, nothing.  I thought that the driver's head may have failed so I replaced it with a spare that I had but this diddnt help either.  I'm not sure why the ADF will not work, but it turns out quite invonvieiant for my work. If anyone has had this problem and if so, were you able to fix?  Thanks in advance.

    Hey @MarioFleecy,

If the NVRAM reset on your product could not solve the problem with your ADF, then the next step would be to maintain the product that we have exhausted all the troubleshooting steps.

I would recommend calling HP support and inform the agent of all the steps that we've come for troubleshooting. When you do that, you will be able to discuss what alternative options are available.

  • The HP Officejet 4620 automatic document feeder continues to scan blank pages

    All-in-one HP Officejet 4620e

    Windows 7 64 bit

I recently bought this printer and it worked pretty well, apart from a few network difficulties which are known as being a question about these cards.

Today, however, we have noticed that when you use the ADF on top, the device will scan the page or pages inserted, then continue to scan blank pages until the job is canceled. This has happened for copy, scan and fax. For copies and scans, the work always is, although a copy job will lose a bit of paper. A fax can not pass because he thinks there is a countless number of pages to scan in. Looks like that eye scanning crashes when you try to finish the job. The use of glass flat works without problem.

I updated the firmware of the device through the web utility and I downloaded the most recent drivers. I have not yet called HP, but I saw nothing on these boards to suggest that it happened to someone else.

The hard reset did not work.

I tried to do a factory reset on the printer itself and that seems to fix the problem. Instead of chasing the copy white pages permanently, he ran a blank page after the copy and completed the work.

Then I reconnected to my network and tried again. This time, I didn't get no blank page, just the requested copy.

Then, I reconfigured WebServices and tested the connection with eprint and the configuration of the fax that was normal. I checked that the update of the current product. I tested the ADF once more after the reconfiguration everything again and like a scan, I got 8 pages... the document, then 6. Just for fun, I tried again and got the document and a blank page.

It seems that the laser eye is suspended after the digitization of the document. It's better now that it was because it ends in fact it does. I can always just use the dish for unique pages and save the ADF for multiple. It is probably the best way to go forward from here.

    Thanks for the help.
