Photosmart 7520 series: error Photosmart 7520 series Document feeder

Error message when you try to print, copy, fax, bed or document scan power - it says that I have to re - load the document into the charger and I am not fed any document.

I understand the frustration you are experiencing. It seems that the printer is stuck in an error state or there is a blockage in the ADF (ADF).

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem. Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a bar or a surge protector). This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

If you have access to another computer running Windows 8 or an earlier version, please update the firmware of the printer. Click here to go to the download page.

    To copy the size you want through the ADF is not supported. According to the specifications, the larger size of the photo tray is 5 x 7, and use the main charger would cause a paper jam.

    I've included here for 'copy a MultiPage Original' document. I tried as follows on the 7510 I and was able to copy successfully on both sides.

    I've also included the steps here for you.
    (1) place the point on the scanner glass
    2) press the button copy
    3) press the Settings button at the bottom left
    (4) make sure that only 2 sides copy is turned on
    5) Press Start
    (6) follow the instructions on the screen to load the second page / or return the paper and continue

  • Flag 23: problem of scanning hp photosmart 7520: Automatic Document feeding

    My photosmart hp 7520 worked well since I got a couple of months.  I have often used the feature of the parser for a single page (or photo) both placed on the glass.  I also used it to scan several pages in a file PDF - one page at a time placed on the glass (not via the ADF because they are double sided pages).  Two days ago, I started having trouble with the scan function.  When I select Scan--> computer-->-->--> PDF Document MYPC and load a single page on glass, sometimes it allows me to analyze this page, I request to load the next page which I do but that's all.  He said that the analysis has been a success and the document is saved even if I have additional pages.  It doesn't gives me the opportunity to make more than two pages.  At other times, as soon as I put the first page on the glass and go to the scanner, it does "No preview available when you use the ADF" even if there is no paper in the ADF.  I did not any changes for the 7520 or Pavilion.  Is it a software HP 7520 glitch or hardware problem?  I tried the normal stuff of uninstalling the software and put it back, by restarting and unplugging the 7520, etc. all to nothing does not.  Same problems keep occurred.  Suggestions?  Thank you.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 Auto Document Feeder mechanism stuck in the open position

    I had followed the troubleshooting guide to remove an original stuck in the mechanism of rolls.  First of all, I got face printing accessory two, then raised the lid of the feeder automatic and finally lifted the charger itself. I removed the jammed sheet successfully, but when he came to close the charger I encounter resistance which I am reluctant to overcome, in case something breaks. So for now, the charger and its cover are upward in the air at about 60 degrees to the horizontal.

    Y at - it something for the charger to fence, or brute force it will close without damage?

    I couldn't see anything in particular that prevented the ADF of the fence, so I took the bull by the horns and applied just a little bit more pressure I had before - and voila! Its closure.

    My HP 7410 displays an error message that I must close document feeder cover, when it IS already closed.  I have practice a moderate, steady pressure on the cover to make copies.  Sometimes I can open and slam firmly the loading of documents cover and he goes - but it still does not, and even if it does, the error comes back if you press the printer cover or cover everything.  I see multiple reports of the same problem when I Googled, but nothing that details enough solutions.  Help, please.  Thank you.

    I discovered a place under the cover of the ADA that detects the closure visually.  In the attached picture, the tab on the insertion of the cover into the cavity surrounded.  This should detect closing.  When he doesn't, insert a folded piece of paper small before closing the lid has solved the problem.

    zipper.  right click on its icon or start the program and click "Run as Administrator".  Save your fla.

    If that fails: restart your computer, create a new directory on your desktop and save a fla test (for example, named test) to this new directory.  any problem?

  • 2 Facer printing with Document Feeder HP7520

    Using a printer Photosmart 7520 e and with Windows 7 PC.

    I can print on both sides of a page when using MS Word and 'print '.  However, I have a question, when you try to print a page (text printed on the front and back) using the document feeder. Using the click Menu Panel on copy, "Setup" 2 sided.
    Not sure that the choices are;

    1 side 1 side
    1 face 2 face
    2 sides to 1 sided

    2 sides to the back 2
    I don't know what it means at all?  I've tried every function. Only the 2 face faces 2 works, but physically, I return to the original page to t he second side and it will work.  That you can use to have automatically the printer print a page with the text of each side?

    Secondly, can I print an envelope using the charger statement?   I know that I can print an envelope FRO the main paper try... but I'd like to see if I can use the document feeder.

    Any help is appreciated

    OK thanks for trying the 1 back to 2 sides and automatically...  Like everything else in the computer world, clitches, no info in the manual of 7520.  But I'm happy for the HP Forum boards and you take the time to help me.  I can't live without this feature, I can print from the ADF 2 face 2 face. And since my computer form (MS Word) to automatically print on both sides.

    In addition, also not happy to have to pull the plug in order to start up the printer again...  On my serge protector sheet (some say there are problems, the other threads) I'll put in a small separate toggle switch to update the printer on and off... I can live with this one as well.

    Side - I had originally bought an Epson XP-810 and had a black line running down the length of pages... so referred and bought the HP 7520.  And hope not having major problems (still in my test phase).   Use of office is a photograph use priority and two (inks, photo capabilities).

  • Document feeder disabling in order to use the flat bed scanner

    I would like to be able to use the portion of my printer for items too large or too large to fit in the document feeder. I have a Photosmart C309a with my Mac. I'm trying to do my job on the printer not through any software. This feature worked before and I don't know why he stopped. I am trying to 'copy' and reduce a magazine article, but the feeder whirs and whirs, then the message's Original Jam, reload the document etc. There is no paper in the tray, it is on the flat.  Any help is very appreciated.

    I wouldn't give up. So for someone else with the same problem, that's what I did. I "restored by default" and the document feeder does not activate automatically, however, it didn't complete the process 'copy' and print my document off the Board either. It is in an infinite loop, so I had no choice, but to pull the plug. I received the message telling me not to do so, as if I had another choice. I waited a minute or so and plugged back in and I was able to copy, cut and print the document on the scanner.

    I have a LaserJet Pro M1530 MFP. Recently, we had developed errors pulling the paper into the automatic document feeder. It was injury but now unable to feed all documents without error of jam & constant. I followed the cleaning instructions.

    I'm afraid that this is not something that you can fix it if it is off. If the steps outlined in the document below did not help, then the best thing to do is to contact HP support to see if they can fix it and how much it would cost.

  • HP envy 7645: try to copy - document feeder failed to peak to the top of the original

    I'm copying a sheet of paper, which is used to work.  I put a document in the feeder on top, press the copy button, press the Start button and immediately get a message that "the document feeder was not able to pickup to the target".  Meanwhile, a new sheet of paper fed through the printer tray and spit on in the output tray.

    If a document is placed on the glass with the document feeder kept open, it does not have to scan the document either and the same error message appears and a new sheet of paper is fed through the printer.

    I ended up doing a chat session with technical support.  They tried some things to reset the computer, but they did not help.   I get a refurbished computer sent me.

    The "scanner" basically stop working.  The printer would not scan or copy.  The scanning bar that scans the document would never pass.

    The printer will be fax unique copies of the scanner bed glass, but will not fax to single or multiple pages from the automatic document feeder.  It connects, but the fax log displays "No document" as well

    You can then run fax Test.  See Page 83  Everything?

    If so, you can load an original in the ADF, see Page 30 and send a fax, see Page 70, to 1.888.473.2963 {test HP fax #}.  If the fax is sent successfully, you should receive a fax in return of Faxback Service HP.  Please give me the details on how this happens, and if you receive error messages.
