Photosmart C410 series AOI - scan a Document in glass?

Customer has one of the highest machines, when he wants to scan a document, it can do this 2 ways, first by putting the paper in the tray and press the scan on the Panel before or, secondly, by putting the document in the document feeder and using the options of the HP Solution Center. In both cases, the analysis ends without any problem.
If he wants to scan a document using the scanner glass - sometimes, the page is torn and could jam at the tray - and he tries one of the methods above nothing happens at all, its as if the glass is not recognized.
If, on the other hand, it uses the HP Solution Center and selects "Scan of photograph" (as opposed to "scan Document") it diagonally, works without any problem at all.
Can anyone throw any light on this for me? It can use the scanner at the same time, but not as he wants in the long term.

KP, I recommend you to uninstall the software in the "programs and features" in your control panel. Follow this link below, select your correct model and the operating system, reinstall the software.
There may be a problem with the communication and coordination with your computer right now.

Please provide the full error message. Also, make sure that you typed correctly - are you sure that the CLSID does not stop with "46" rather than simply "6"?
You can also follow the steps in the following article to clean things up and try again: One Article
- Make sure that you install the printer by using a user account with "computer administrator" privileges (if you are not sure, click Start > Control Panel > accounts of users, under the name of each account will be "Computer administrator" or "Limited account").
- Do not connect the printer to the computer until you are prompted to do so.

HP photosmart premium c410 ser: error Scan storage

I just spent the afternoon sizing and scanning more of 100 pictures of family.
Unfortunately my target drive must have been defective (lexar USB key).
When I looked for the files, a message says disc not available. I have not all messages saying that there was a problem, while I was working however.
I hope that the scanner sent the photos to a different location. I tried without success. They are not in the default drive in the computer.
Any ideas, other than start over again?

If scanned files are not saved, then try the procedure below...
- Press Win (key) + R (key) keyboard to display the RUN.
- In the window RUN, type %TEMP% , and then press OK.
- Temporary folder opens. Now, delete the contents of the TEMP folder.
- Restart the PC
- Now, try to scan.

I understand that you are unable to scan a document using your Photosmart Premium C410. Please follow this document from HP on the paper jam, to ensure that there is no paper in your printer.
Also, try a hard reset on your printer. Click here to complete this step. This printer must be in a direct wall, not a surge protector.

The following steps may resolve this problem. The setting can be changed by the software. For more information on this product, you can always visit the following link. Click here
1. Open Printer Wizard (the printer on the desktop icon)
2. under analysis, click on scan a document or photo
3. when the scan dialog box opens, choose the color from the drop-down list output type (see image below)
4. change the other settings as you want, and then click scan

My Photosmart d110 series will be constantly stuck on "Scanning"... "whenever I scan of either the touch screen or my computer. I used doctor scanning HP many times, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and the drivers, restarted my router, unplugged and plugged in and restarted my computer back. I'm seriously running out of options here. If something escapes me, please let me know. I'll be grateful for any help.
I use Microsoft Windows 7/64-bit on a minitour Convertible HP Compaq dc7900 computer.
Dc110 series is connected via wifi.

Thanks for getting back to me! I think that it might be a scanner unit failure. Try the steps in the guide below and if the problem persists, I'd say you're looking at a new unit. You can contact HP to their contact information to see on a trade in option with them if you wish.

I recently bought the new hp Pavilion dv5 laptop and printer photosmart C410. Have loaded software printer on computer and it works fine. These two are running in a wireless network. I would like to connect a second laptop running Vista on the new way also wireless printer. The second laptop should print only, you don't need to print photos, scan or copy.
Do I need to buy or download software for this?

drivers provided. Check with HP support, their documentation online and
drivers and ask in their forums.Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

I downloaded the updated driver that is located on the HP site for this printer. I uninstalled and installed this driver three times. I keep getting an error message when I use the HP Solution Center to scan a document to a PDF file. I restarted the program, rebooted the computer and reinstalled the software, as had been suggested in the error message. I'm losing my patience! Anyone have any ideas as to the cause and the solution to this problem?

You may need to start from your computer first:
Double-click the icon of the printer on the desktop,
Select manage the Scan of the computer
Click Enable-You can start automatically with Windows, BUT you will get an arror message if you turn on the computer FRONT of the printer.

My C309a don't scan:
-When I press the button on the printer, it is said there is a problem of scan and told me to "try to start the scan of the computer, refer to the documentation for more details"
-When I open the HP solution on the Office Center, it says it cannot run because "your device isn't complete... Please connect the USB cable or re-run the form progam setup from the installation to a network installation CD... If it does not complete the installation or you do not have the CD to access the HP help files by clicking on the start menu.
-J' uninstalled and reinstalled the software from the CD - it did not work
-J' downloaded the new drivers from here:
-J' tried and then install the device. I clicked the USB cable option, rather than wireless or ethernet options, and when I clicked 'Next' he told me to check the cable USB is plugged in and the unit was powered. he wouldn't let me go forward even if I put the computer turned off and removed the USB cable before trying again and reconnect them
-l' printer prints perfectly fine USB cable... it's not just scan!
-I had not moved the USB cable to a different USB port... still no joy

In response to my own Announces 1/2 day later.
HP Photosmart C309a will not computer scan. The HP Solution Center does NOT open. Can print but cannot open the HP Solution Center and command the C309a to scan a document. Using Windows 7. Tried to download new driver and also used the original installation disc without success in the restoration of the HP Solution Center that is used to control the printer to perform analyses.
Click the Start button on windows at the bottom left
Click "all programs."
Clicked on "HP".
Under "HP" clicked "Photosmart C309a Series"
Click 'add a device '.
A program was launched which has detected my existing C309a and when he was finished the HP Solution Center has been restored to its previous working state. I did this using the wireless connection. I always have not plugged the laptop in the wired connection on my desktop that I don't want to get out of this comfortable chair and address this issue more. He now works in wireless mode, and that's good enough for now!

someone had a problem with the computer scanning a document to PDF from printer series wireless e-all-in-one-hp Photosmart 7525? The document will appear in My Documents, but when I try and open the document I get an error message that says that the document cannot be opened. I can scan and open the document as TIF format.
