Photosmart C6180: drivers of bt

Just upgraded to 10 Windows to install my printer.  I have two options for drivers to install:

Series of HP Photosmart C6100

Series of HP Photosmart C6100 BT

Which one to use?  My printer is bluetooth compatible, but it is usually accessible via the wireless network.

Hi @brian3ps,

I understand that you have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now configure your Photosmart C6100 printer.

Since you do not use the printer via Bluetooth, I suggest the driver selection of HP Photosmart C6100 series instead of the HP Photosmart C6100 BT series please let me know if you have trouble after completing the installation, and I will gladly do everything I can to help. Thank you.

    Hi @eTTguy,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.

I understand that you try to download the drivers for a HP Photosmart C6180 all-in-One Printer for Windows 10 but cannot because the tracking link opens a blank page. I want to help you with that.

I am currently on a Windows 7 PC using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, and the link you posted took me to the support home page for the HP Photosmart C6180 where you would still need to click on "Software & drivers" and the blue "go" button under "Option 2" to get the drivers HP Photosmart C6180.

If you follow this link, so that it brings you directly to the page software and drivers with a red download button click on start download - drivers and software HP Photosmart full feature.

  • Helps the Photosmart C6180 Snow Leopard screen

I install Photosmart C6180 all-in-One on my Mac using Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.   I want to access using Mac HP Photosmart for details on its use, but I can not find this file.  In the folder applications folder Hewlett-Packard includes HP Scan, uninstall HP, HP utility and utility peripheral files and licenses. The way I understand it is to use the Apple Software Update instead of using the software (CD) that came with the all-in-one.  I used the Apple software update. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">

  • Installation failed for HP Photosmart C6180 wireless for my laptop HP Pavilion (window Vista Home Premium) 64-bit

    Hello

I have HP Photosmart C6180 all-in-One printer, that works well with my other Compaq Presario SR2001NX desktop (Window XP) wired without any problem.
But after I bought the new laptop about a month ago, I tried to install this printer on my wireless laptop.
I downloaded HP driver for vista 64-bit, which is not always in the final phase of installation showing big 'X' mark on the screen of the window.
Several chatting online with HP technician did not work at all, and I couldn't connect the printer with that laptop apparently more up-to-date, which is quite frustrating.
I know how to connect the printer wireless with router. The printer screen shows it is correctly connected to the Wi - Fi network.

I wonder if Microsoft already knows this kind of installation problems.

It seems that Windows does not install automatic blower for this printer. Most of the HP printers is listed on the function of automatic installation of the window, but this printer is not included.

    Hello Itnntkim,

Thanks for posting of Microsoft Answers.

I checked on the compatibility of Windows Vista site and this printer is compatible with the 64-bit system, but it shows there is a required download for the drivers. I've included here the compatibility site.
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=PhotoSmart%20C6180%2032%2f31ppm%204800x1200dpi%20Print%2fCopy%2fScan%2fFax%20NIC%20U&v=HP&uid=Q8181AABA&pf=0&pi=0&s=HP%20PhotoSmart%20C6180%20all-in-one%20multifunction&os=32-bit

Make sure that you have all the updated drivers for the HP Photosmart C6180 all-in-One printer.
The website below is for drivers for this model for Windows Vista 64-bit system.
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?OS=2100&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&product=1153494&lang=en

We have downloaded the drivers, then uninstall the drivers you currently have. And then update with the new drivers.  If when you do that, you still get an error, please answer with the exact error message so that we can continue to troubleshoot with you.

I have a HP Photosmart C6180. I recently changed to Windows 8 32-bit. I downloaded the HP Windows 8 drivers, but I still have problems with the printer. • HP Photosmart C6180 Magenta Ink not printing

    error message: no

description of the problem: Magenta Ink not print not EXCEPT on the page that prints after aligning the print cartridge printing is performed. At the bottom of this page, the bars of yellow, Cyan and Magenta print perfectly, just like the mixture of the color shown in the colorful bird printed below the bars.

Self Test Diagnostic Page is printed with bars No. Light Magenta or Magenta, under print quality model. State of ink and level for both shows like OK magenta and 100%

Troubleshooting: I ran repeated cycles of head cleaning and aligning the print cartridge print without changing the output. The page that prints after cleaning has NO magenta bars or lines. Seems the page that prints after alignment. Via e-mail support, I was directed to perform a complete reset "semi" and "the NVM reset" - neither of these had no effect. Magenta inks have been replaced, but the problem persists.

Exchange: the printer had not been used for several months.

My printer started working. It had been disconnected and sitting for several months. I turned it to try the HP solutions (below) and found that it worked - I had nothing to do!  In any case, I hope this can help some of you with similar problems:

  • HP Photosmart C6180 with abnormal shutdown Message

My HP Photosmart C6180 began to make a loop of continuous restart with error of abnormal termination. I've now tried # and 6 at startup to do a reset, but that only solves the problem for about 30 minutes.

I read on other forums on the internet that this is due to faulty capacitor anyone else managed to solve this problem?

I notice seven other users seem to have this problem on the forum.

    TTL79 wrote:

I have the same problem. Is it possible to fix once and for all?

Hi, yes I managed to fix my printer and it is working normally again! However, it is a bit complex - I had to remove the circuit board and replace the capacitors. I put the instructions on this site below as a method step by step for fixing.

    http://www.roshgaind.com/?p=200

You will need to have a soldering iron, torx screwdriver and buy new capacitors. The whole process takes about 1 to 2 hours, I had limited experience with soldering, but I am familiar with disassemble computers.

Attempt at your own risk - soldering irons are very hot and can cause injury if not done properly this can permanently damage your printer If in doubt ask a service center to fix your printer or buy a new one.

    Hi wjabdella,

    Thank you for your answer!

In the post I provided on the hard reset, he mentioned: sometimes, when plugged into a surge protector or battery backup, the quantity of electricity is not received by the printer.  Power problems can cause printing problems.  It is particularly important to be plugged directly into a wall outlet with wireless connectivity problems, "sleep mode" and other power problems.

So by unplugging the power and waiting, it resets the printer almost to its original state without making a complete factory reset and lose any other information.

If I only print in black why my HP Photosmart C6180 uses up color cartirges? Are expensive!

    Hello

All printers do the same thing that even many printers have an option to print in black INK ONLY. The reason: during the process of global warming, printers need to use all inks to check and maintain their print heads... Some people say, we turn on the printer / OFF it will use more ink, I can't confirm that but understandable.

    Kind regards.
