Photosmart C6350 gear noise stripping

Is it normal that my all-in-one printer make a great noise gear-stripping, when the bike to the top or preparation print a page?

Not real familiar with the inner workings, but it sounds like the head trying to find 'the House' and runs completely on one side, then the transport continues to run for a second or two, while the gears grind away?

Anyone who hears the noise looks at my office and asks what the problem with this printer?

It works fine in every other sense.  No problem except the noise.  And I can't help but wonder about the premature wear on the equipment or the belt - this unit will not last?  He is only 8 months old and has done from the first day.

Return or repair until it goes out of its warranty 1 year.  He shouldn't do that.

    Any help?

    I got it!

The fuser unit has a speed right next to the equipment of fiber that animates the pressure roller and its not not perfect fitting its axis to axis. Initializing the printer, it tends to lateral movement and oscilates causing noise. I have come to discover that and am very well now. I mounted a plastic sleeve to keep it in position and its now just like new.

  • Printer Photosmart HP2510 makes noise when turned on and never seems to turn really turn on.

It seems as if it's endless stuck to some friendly tour on the loop.  Unplugging and plugging in the power doesn't affect him.  Every time I turn it on again it pick up where it left off: "bzz bzz bzz bzz bzz bzz Chunk, Chunk" constantly until unpluggrd.

I have a little more information to help? The printer is connected directly to a wall outlet? Have you tried the printer on another take? Is there a power module, the power cord where you can cut and separate the power cord in two pieces? If there is a power supply module, is there a light on the module that is lit? If so, look at the solution three in this document. It will guide you through a hard reset which also illustrates to break the power cord and it plug back into the reset process. • C6350 printing from a laptop, but not the other

Hi, I have a new HP Photosmart C6350 which was working fine until today. I connected via the network from my wireless for two two laptops running vista 64. All of a sudden I can't print from a laptop computer but can print fine on the other. With one that does not initialize the print job, and then a minute later, it says "Unable to print Document" when I open the HP Solution Center, it says "work has not print because of an error in the printing system." The laptop is able to communicate with the printer, it can check the connection settings, get ink levels, scanner works very well, etc., but never print jobs is completed.

I tried to turn on/off the printer several times, I rebooted my laptop several times and it has not solved the problem. I checked the edits, and he said that everything was up-to-date. I tried all the solutions suggested and don't know what else to do. As I said, it worked fine til today. Help, please

I see... so if the cart wud nmot move to the Center or to the right of the printer - try to unplug the printer and manually move the carriage... but if this step does not work... you need to replace the printer becayse the unit is already defective...

  • HP Photosmart printer: transport stuck, makes terrible noise but does not in the book.

HP Photosmart C5280. Transport makes a horrible noise, but cannot pick up any apper. What should do?

It seems that there may be a foreign body stuck in one of the rolls, the transport route, or a gear is going/gone bad.

Have you tried to remove all paper from the input tray and the control of the front of the rolls?

Have you removed the back of the printer to ensure that nothing is stuck to the back of the unit?

In addition, there is a document covering troubleshooting paper jams.  This may or may not be a paper jam, but the steps of troubleshooting for a noisy product will be the same.  Click here to access this document.  There is also a document to this printer which covers when the unit doesn't feed paper.  Click here to access this information.

    I hope this helps.

    Hey Capt-Rod,

It is quite possible that the printer is under warranty. It is not based on the buyer, but according to the serial number of the printer. Please, either use the following link. Check your product warranty or call HP.

If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

From your description, it seems that you have done the troubleshooting necessary, but please plan to take a look at the following link. HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer series - when using the ADF, one "original jam: clear jam and press OK' Message displays on the all-in-one."

You will find a not just yet, you will need to complete and could very well solve the problem.

  • photosmart HP 5510 vote B11a: noise and Auful printing problem

    Hello world

    I'm new here.

I have a problem with my photosmart HP 5510 printer, when I try to print it makes a terrible noise and it does not print.

I try update firmware, reset the printer, change the cartridge, remove all the piece of paper, but nothing.

    Could you help me please?

    Thank you

    Alessandro

    Hi @alessandro96

    I'd love to help you with the sound that you hear from the printer. I understand that you have already begun to solve the problem, but the noise remains. Please post back with the answers to the following questions;

    1. Is the printer on a flat surface?
    2. How long has noisy for the printer?
    3. Didn't help then the noise started? (ie. the paper, printer error message jam was fallen/hit, surge)
    4. There are flashing lights, or the error messages on the printer?
    5. When was the last time that the cartridges have been changed?
    6. If you are a Virgin copy, when you hear the noise?
    7. If you open the printer do you see broken parts?
    8. When opening upward where the cartridges go, they move freely?
    9. The cartridges are installed correctly? (ie. the cartridges are level and does not appear).
    10. Perform a hard reset. With the power on remove power cord from the back of the device, then from the wall outlet. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds (drains the excess power of the printer). Plug the power supply into the wall outlet, then the printer.
    11. You still get the noise after that?

I look forward to hear from you.

  • 5510 fact cracking noise Photosmart ink cartridge access door

When I opened my Photosmart 5510 to access door cartridge ink it makes a cracking sound strong.

Someone at - it the same problem?

Or someone knows how to solve the problem of teas

    Hi MHKA1379,

The printer may make noises if the transport cannot move freely. Return the document in the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02865805

Under Solution 3, follow the steps to "check the way of transport for obstructions. Check and remove any loose paper or objects that restrict the movement of the cart left and right.

Note: Use a flashlight to light up the area.

If this does not help, follow the steps in order to ensure the "messages in the cartridge to the parking lot do not block the transport' and 'cartridges do not touch the printer cover.

Hope this help to solve the problem.

  • Photosmart 6510 noise

I have a model B211a printer Photosmart 6510 e - All - in - one series. My computer is an iMac with Snow Leopard OS. Lately, the printer makes a noise of rattling/knocking hard. This seems to happen when the printer screen says he's going through the process "printer preparation occurring." No idea why this is happening or how to fix? Thank you.

Thanks also to describe how get to the rollers because graphic design is different from the model that I have. Kudos to you for your help and your expertise.
