  Right click on the systray icon Bluetooth, click new connection-> select "Custom Mode"->...
  Now you should be able to select the headset profile.
  Also if the software can control the headset, then use the VoIP option. If you want to control you headset with button clicks and so now then do not select the VoIP option during installation.

• Plantronics. Headphones Stereo Audio 655 (64-Bit Solution?)

  I had the headphones not knowing that it is only for the 32 bits of the operating system (I rarely find anything like that ever)

  But now lagging my computer and I have actually tested and seen cause glitches in some of my games.
  I would like the branch and there would be a delay then disconnect and shift could disappear.
  I could really use some help with this, as there may be a way to get 32-bit on 64-bit
  or a compatible driver for the headset. Please and thank you to all the answers.

  Hello. I recently bought a pair of headphones Plantronics BackBeat FIT to pair with my Apple Watch wireless via bluetooth. I was easily able to pair the headset with my watch as soon as I started to exercise in the gym, the headphones were disconnected after only a few seconds. Extremely frustrating!   Turn off and then turn on Windows Media Player and see if it helps.

  I have a WMB54G. It is properly configured and plays music on my home theater remote control system. When I say the utility to play music on my PC speakers, audio appears on my USB headset, not on my PC speakers via the sound card in my computer.

  I am running XP SP3. The bridge and my WRT54G Router are both running the latest firmware. I can ping each device and get to each configuration page.

  On the OS sounds and Audio Devices Properties the Linksys Wireless - G Music Bridge appears as the default audio playback device. My sound card is on all different dropdowns, but nowhere is the default device. My helmet appears as default device for recording sound and voice playback and recording.

  If I make the sound card, the default device, music plays fine on the speakers, but then the bridge Wireless-G does not work.

  I thought that I had to be able to play remotely by selecting Connect from the utility and to play on the speakers on my PC (not the headphones) when I select speakers for PC.

  Here's how I solved, with the valuable assistance of Shiela A of Live Chat (sic).

  My Control Panel sounds and Audio Devices dialog box to show the Linksys Wireless Music Bridge as the default device. My card of Audio Creative Soundblaster (which connects the speakers) and my Plantronics USB headset were also on this drop-down list.

  By pressing the connection to PC speakers on the bridge utility button connected to the headset instead speakers. Seems to be no available method to tell the bridge which to choose.

  Finally, I just unplugged the headphones, so I said to the bridge utility for music, bridge and my home theater, speakers of the PC system. It seemed that the bridge has spent a long time thinking as to where had these headphones. Finally, the music appeared on my PC speakers.

  Speakers do not work no helmet because the Audio ESP or Microsoft UAA HD audio codec is not installed because the driver WIN7 and DOTNET and June 2010 Directx are not installed.  You must reinstall the Legacy driver and DOTNET support to windows features turn on Control Panel.

  I want something to make me pass stereo audio using the Bluetooth radio already in my laptop.

  I bought a pair of headsets Plantronics BackBeat go.   They could combine with the laptop, but then in the next step, Windows (7 Home Premium) Impossible to install the appropriate drivers.  I went through all the suggested windows troubleshooting nothing helps.  I called Plantronics technical support.  I was told that I would need to buy an additional USB adapter at home, so I send you the earbuds back.

  I asked Dell sales support they recommend, but the only thing they could find available from Dell needed an extra USB adapter too.  In addition, it is mono.

  I really want to commit something that won't require a USB port for an adapter since the computer already has the Bluetooth hardware.  Ideally I'd like a small dongle that allowed the use of speakers, headphones or earphones.  Otherwise, I would consider dedicated Bluetooth headset or headphones.

  I'm not interested in the device with a microphone or telephone control, but if that's what it takes to get other features I want, I would consider it.

  I solved my problem audio Bluetooth!

  My laptop Dell L502x supplied with Windows 7.  But Windows 7 has no native support for Bluetooth (a2dp) profile for the use of stereo headphones.  The helmet would pair with the laptop, but wouldn't connect.

  I chose first to run Wireless_16.7.0_s64.exe.  After then running BT_3.1.1311_s64.exe and restarting, I accompanied my headphones to the computer and was finally able to connect.

  It's a shame that Microsoft does not include a2dp with Windows 7.  I have an iPod touch and a winning machine 8 effortlessly connected to my helmet, since they have a2dp built in.

  Well, I'm just happy, there's a solution.

• Cannot get Plantronics bluetooth headset appears as reading or a recorder in Panel - &#62; sound in Windows 7 with Lenovo ThinkPad

  I installed a Plantronics Voyager legend UC bluetooth headset to my work provided Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computer running Windows 7. The helmet looks like a device in the Panel--> devices and printers. However, it does not show as a device in the control--> tabs sound playback Panel or registration.  I need the headset to the playback device for my work-VoIP phone.

  I tried to remove the helmet and reinstall, but I can't delete it in the Panel--> devices and printers. When I locate and right click, remove or uninstall is not an option. I went to the control panel--> Manager--> audio video devices and game controllers, which are there and uninstalled. I then unplugged the connector of the headset, and the headset powered off and rebooted. I then plugged the connector UBS back in and turned the headset. The PC began to reinstall the drivers, but the headphones still did not appear in the sound tabs.

  I have been all over the internet trying to find a solution to this problem and so far have not been successful. I spent hours on this and it shouldn't be so hard, but it turns out be. I appreciate any help you can provide.

  1. Were you able to use this helmet earlier on this computer? Answer: Yes, it didn't work and appeared in the reading tabs and the recording of sounds. However, I accidentally deleted it--> sound when I was trying to troubleshoot why I couldn't hear the narration in the course of eLearing played on our intranet via the headphones. I only meant to change the settings so that I could make the speaker/HP the default device. BIG MISTAKE because now I can't get it to reinstall and appear in the tabs of playback and recording.
  2. Have you checked to connect the headset to any other computer, it works on other computers? Answer: The only other computer I have is an Apple MacBook Pro. I plugged the USB connector to the PC and seem to work although I can't do a one-to-one comparison.
  3. You said that Windows has started to install drivers automatically after connecting the headset and the computer restarted after the removal of noise, the video controller and game, was the driver installed successfully? Answer: Yes, but it just does not appear not liked as an option in the tabs of playback or recording.
  4. Other audio devices work fine on this computer? The only other device is the computer speakers and they work fine.

  Regarding method 1. I had already installed and run the file MicrosoftFixit.Devices.exe that you provided even if I ran again and this has not fixed the problem.

  With respect to method 2. I checked and show disabled devices is checked. The only other devices in playback and recording are speakers/HP and Realtek HD Audio Output 2.

  UPDATE! I removed the USB of the headphone connector and plugged into the MAC, and then removed the Mac and plugged into the PC, that is! The helmet now presents itself as an option in the tabs of the reading and recording. Yes! I was able to select it and set as device by default, tested the VoIP phone and it works all! Phew! I was about to give up on the VoIP phone. Thank you.

  I work in a company as a helpdesk, and users on the network have a Cisco Unified IP phone 6921 each.

  Some of them use headset Plantronics' of the HW251/A and they have been using for a while now, but since last week, all the headphones stopped working...

  Headsets are connected to phones using a cable U10P-S, but none of them work any phone I plug them in. I also tried to connect different phones, with new cables, using a new helmet... but none of them seem to be the solution...

  Please I need help, these helmets were expensive and I don't want to have to buy new... Would it be something wrong with the phones themselves?

  I also noticed that by hitting the button on the headset to see if I can hear any signal (which I did not), when I turn off the button on the headset, I hear like a noise of 'cut', but something else... Its frustrating because I know these helmets are functional, but I can't understand how to make them work!

  Finally got a blackberry case, it's the only thing sprint has that synchronizes with my mac.  I already love this phone in every way except one.

  My plantronics headset travel stereo bluetooth (with a2dp and avrcp profiles that correspond to the phone) does not work when you listen to the music/tv/video. He worked very well with my motorola and samsung phones, so I don't want to give it up.  Plantronics tells me that the device should work with this phone model. The whole is described on crackberry as compatible.  I can have conversations on the headset in stereo, but no matter what settings I have change / disconnect the battery / re-pair of headphones I still can't make it work. Is there a setting I can change in the phone other than encryption that will solve this problem? Sprint could not help me.   I hope you can, so I do not get this phone.

  Well, I love my blackberry even more now... In more recent versions of Pandora, Slacker, Radio Companion, etc., you can go into the options and select bluetooth or turn on bluetooth in the context menu.  This did not work very well in previous versions or did not even exist in Pandora.  I continued to try newer versions and now all three programs I tried to work reliable with bluetooth stereo.  So I left my blackberry on the other side of the gym until I realize he had disappeared and he has not yet cut.  Hoping soon too SprinTV updated!  Thank you for we hear on RIM HERE!
