  He is listed as Windows Powershell. Maybe you just looked for Powershell. You were just to check the brand of show updates.

  I can't run a script PowerShell to a recovery plan, even if I can't run interactively from the SRM of recovery server and command CMD run OK.

  Here is the error I get:

  The recovery plan called test.cmd, which is basically redirected to the PowerShell script.

  Note that I created the process text files to see where the script stops. When I run test.cmd of the stimulus package, 1. txt is created, but 2. txt and txt 3. are not created. When I run test.cmd interactively from the SRM of recovery server, all three text files are created.

  Things to check.

  (1) under which the account is the .cmd file and therefore the .ps1 file, executed in SRM?

  Maybe the RS account does not have the same privileges

  (2) I would like to start the PowerShell engine in the with the parameter - NoProfile .cmd file.

  A general Council, try to use the cmdlets Start-Transcript and Stop-Transcript at the beginning and at the end of your PS script.

  Have you ever tried to create a .txt file before loading the PowerCLI snap?

  I can't uninstall Windows Powershell, because it does not appear in Add/Remove Programs, even when updates are checked.  I have no uninstaller anywhere on my computer.  It is not listed in uninstall Windows programs.  First thing I noticed about a week ago.  It has a log of events that I've never seen before. Explorer Windows says that it was created in April 2010.  I read that I didn't need.  I know that I would never use it.  But all the talk about the use of add/remove programs and it is not listed there.

Uninstallation of the update of Windows PowerShell 1.0 after you apply a service pack update is considered uninstalling in the wrong order. This could compromise the operating system. Updates should only be uninstalled in the reverse order in which they were installed.

  If you must have installed 1.0 as an update and then you went to a service pack and deleted upgrade the program uninstaller.

  I suggest uninstalling the drive in Device Manager and restart the computer.

  If this does not help, you can try to uninstall all your computer disc burning software, if you have the means to reinstall, and then reinstall the drive.

In my main workflow, I call several workflows VM (upgrade tools, vm stop, move DS, etc.) whose use: attribute called type newVM VC:VirtualMachine. I added a new secondary workflow to run the Script to run as a guest VM. I did like the others under workflow and related virtual machine of the VC:VirtualMachine parameter to the newVM. Also limited the parameters of user name and password. I can run the subworkflow run the Script in guest VM by itself without any problem. However, when I run the main workflow which is the integrated subworkflow, I get this error: powershell script type is not valid for OS null

  I'm trying to install QuickBooks Pro 2011 on a workstation running VISTA Home Premium SP1 and cannot resolve this error. I guess that it is a permissions problem and the Intuit Tech support has been less than helpful. They referred me to Microsoft KB313222 as my Savior and are very clear that they wanted nothing to do with registration issues. I have studied the Intuit forums to exhaustion and have implemented every imaginable and search for 'solution' to work around the error. Pleasures know that I am NOT very experienced in the fixes mentioned in the article. Most of this stuff scares me badly. I'm just a guy from TI - not a programmer. My knowledge base is very limited when it comes to registration issues. Can someone out there please give me real help on how to edit the registry key .iif permissions so that Quickbooks can do anything which changes it's try to do? I even took a chance and ran the "secedit / configure-/ verbose" command a still not luck.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

  Well found the answer.  Posting it here in case anyone else is curious

  1. type regedit into the dialog box RUN and press ENTER. Now goto:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DontShowMeThisDialogAgain

  2 in the pane, delete the following string value:

  {948e51fb-0a48-44f0-86ac-33c36def540c}

  Alternatively, you can change its value to Yes instead of delete it. That'll work too.

  3 this is it. Now you answer the prompt confirmation of uninstallation.
