Presario SR5019UK processors AM2 Albums

I have a SR5019UK and on the support page, it lists the possible maximum processor to be the processor AMD 64 X 2 5600 + 89W.

I read on other forums, it is possible to put an AMD 64 X 2 6000 + 89W into any socket AM2 89W.

I see no reason that this does not work unless there something to with the BIOS load.

Any light that could be spread on this would be greatly appreciated (if possible, it would require BIOS flashing and possible resources to do)

Thanks in advance,

Allugr81

Hi allugr81:

Thank you for your inquiry.

I understand that you would like to know the maximum of your computer's processor. The support page sets out the maximum possible processor to be the processor AMD 64 X 2 5600 + 89W...

Although it is a hp not recommended site that I provide you the link. click here.

Please see the section on "CPUs, associated with AMD Athlon 64 X 2 6000 + (3.1 GHz)". It will provide you the differences.

In short, no, it is not compatible.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your model series.

Can be found in Chapter 1, page 1-2 processors supported.

It does not seem that you need to update the BIOS to install the T7200.

There is an update that adds support for a Celeron processor.

This motherboard A8M2N - LA ZNS - GL6, will support a faster processor than listed on the technical page. However, one inquired will not work.  No black editions won't work in this motherboard I've seen in my research.  AMD Athlon 64 X 2 only processors that work are heart of Windsor.  This is the fastest known to work:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103773

May not be identified correctly by the BIOS, but it will work.  I have a 5600 + in mine and it works fine.

Enter www.grandages.com, go the Grand Ages: Rome section, under updates & Patches look for the link to your graphics card driver (Important notice > nForce Driver download or Download of Driver ATI). In my case, I went to the ATI site and RE-INSTALLED the LAST packet of the whole + driver graphic card software (as recommended on the site), THEN RESTART.

Next step back to www.grandages.com, download and install the PATCH 1.11, then reboot again if necessary. After that, it was smooth sailing all the way, and the game has been able to start without any problems what so ever.

  • Replacement of motherboard questions

I havd a pavilion Model # p6130y Prod # ny464aa-aba and basically, I've been having the issue where when the computer was trying to sleep, he would go to a black screen and hang there until I did a hard reboot. I found that it was a problem of bios fixed with the update. When I had updated lost power during the update, so I found myself with a update failure. I tried to Flash with no results, then I took the computer to the local store and they couldn't get the bios to take and gave it back to me. So now im thinking it would be cheaper for me, simply enter a new motherboad. I have a few questions that someone could probably help me with.

    1. I believe that when I do this the I will need a new license for windows is that correct.

    2. do I need to look for a specific sheet? I know that I have ddr2, form factor micro atx and a processor am2 +.

    3. basically to get an example would be something like this work of motherboard asus www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131595

  • I don't want to be on the home network

I rent a room that I am allowed to use wireless Internet. However, there is a new roommate in the House that has set up a home network who understand me. I won't be on the home network. Is this possible? and how?

I have laptop with Windows Vista, manufacturer - Hewlett-Packard. It's a laptop Compaq Presario F700, processor - AMD Turion (tm) 64 x 2 Mobile Technology TL-58 1.90 GB. I chose the Public network through the network and sharing Center.

As I am on home network, I have to go through his computer. I saw that clearly on the map of connection through the network and sharing Center window. The path is the Internet of his computer, his computer to the device and Internet gateway device of Internet gateway on my computer. When it is off, the path is directly from the Internet to my computer.

Based on the Help window, if I understand correctly, the only way is that it disable ICS (Internet Connection in), but he won't do that. He wouldn't even talk to me. It enabled ICS not to mention me and by this law introduced me to be in his home network. I want to just connect directly to the Internet as the way he did before he came to the House.

    Help, please.

    Hello

  • DownGrade to XP Pro on a SATA HARD drive

Hey, I know this question has been answered many times, but I would ask it anyway just make what I read is correct for my motherboard. I want to downgrade my OS XP Pro and install it on a SATA HDD, I have Vista Ultimate on the time, but due to the infamous Vista compatibility sound from becoming too much of a problem and an embarrassment. I read that my motherboard, a GeForce 6150SE nForce430, stated the source as "most nForce motherboards these days", has already SATA drivers on it, so I must not F6 a floppy to install when I clean install XP Pro. Is this true for my motherboard?

I have not found a specific reference to my motherboard so I ask here in case someone else has found a specific reference or made themselves.

I hope so because I don't have a floppy drive anymore.

I'm a little "self teaching" me PC s and as the saying "Never asked, never learned", so any help is appreciated

XP has the SATA drivers you need. Intel motherboards require drivers SATA via F6 or "slipstreaming".
